I needed to make an emergency withdrawal from my 401k but they were only allowing for dire circumstances with proof. I reached out to Career Excuse and got them to provide a notice from a verifiable leasing office stating I was being evicted and it was just what I needed. I consider the price to be a little high but this is the only place I seen that can offer something like this.

Amazing Results!
March 20, 2020

I was initially pretty skeptical of what these guys could do, but after texting Amey, I was blown away by the results. A couple days ago, I only could imagine what I wanted my future career to be. Today, she showed me a flawless website and references that are rock solid. I was really impressed by what she put together in such a short amount of time. She was a pleasure to work with and I feel better about my future career than ever. 5.5!

Amey has been the best taking me through the process. In this day and age to have a business rep like Amey that responds to the text within 10 mins even on weekends is absolutely unheard of. Need a job and a patch to your resume, call Amey and she will set you up.

Needed a job reference, was thinking of having friends assist, but this new idea is done way more professionally. They even have phones numbers of the area codes that you want. If you need a job reference due to issues with former employers, CareerExcuse is the perfect site to go to for a job reference.

Reference in 24hrs
March 5, 2020

Needed a reference for my partner who already had put a deposit on a property. The company was hounding her for the reference or lose deposit and property.

Contacted Amy, and within a few hrs i was provided with all the reference details and website. Few hours after that... confirmation email from agency saying thanks and references had gone well.

Amy is very calming and definitely knowledgable and understanding having been in the role for so many yrs. She listens and takes care of attention to details, and makes sure every angle is covered. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is still not sure.

Extremely professional. I don't write reviews. In this case, I had too. It saved my life. Thank you for reading my review. Paul Hunter

Amy is an expert and she'll counsel you on the best way to make use of this service. After doing this for a long time she's going to have a good idea of how you should present yourself, whether it's industry specific or just generally. I would take her advice. I really mean that; if you're smart, you'll take her advice. Getting people jobs is her job, and you can tell how good she is at it just by talking to her. She'll also explain how everything works, and you'll know exactly what to expect. She's given me the rundown on the whole operation and it's well organized. It's crazy well organized. I have a CDL and they even have a DOT Number to provide a reference for commercial driving jobs, that's INSANE! That alone should tell you how well put together this whole business is. She's done everything she's said she would do and more. Above, beyond, and in great detail.

I don't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. They sound absurd to me. This woman works well into the night. Ration this for me: She answers all of the incoming calls for potential clients and then does the job of the reference providers too. She can answer every text and email you send her the moment you send it? Come on. Somebody has never had a busy job. What do you want her primary objective to be? Yeah, that's right, answering the phone for you reference calls. Every time this has been the case she's let me know via text pretty much right away. Imagine a girl with the phone to her ear providing a stellar reference, with another phone in her hand texting you that she's on a call and she'll get back to you asap. And there's 20 of you. All with unique needs and stories. That's what's happening. She's not blowing anyone off. Scam my $#*!. After working in the trucking industry for so long, I know what it's like to be expected to be a machine that can do inhuman $#*!. AND! I know how pissed people get when the impossible turns out to be impossible. I can see the irrational and unfounded butthurt in these negative reviews.

Let's say you land a job that pays 50k a year plus benefits. The Blue Collar Plan is $150. Think about the economics there. Do you understand the value here? Are you going to be reasonable and work with this girl that works so hard to provide that for you? Or are you going to get your panties in a twist when she can't answer you immediately, and go trash her on the internet like a hoe?

Invaluable service!
December 4, 2019

I had kids young and chose to be a stay at home mom for several years effectively creating a big gap in my resume, and making me unappealing for practically any kind of job. Enter Amey professional, thorough in every capacity and without her help I would absolutely not have a job worth every dime and than some...

I found them online while searching for resume help. Amey talked me through it, found out what I needed, and helped build the resume and provide references. I haven't started applying yet, so I'll post another review once I get hired somewhere to share how that all went, but so far, I'm pretty satisfied. The only bad thing I could say is that it took longer to get everything done than I expected, but they made up for it, so it's all good. They even put up a couple of websites to make everything look even more legit. Very friendly and professional too in my experience.

I highly recommend working with Amey!

Amey previously helped me get a new position after taking time off to be a caregiver. Unfortunately recently the company experienced a mass layoff and once again Amey has been helpful in getting me the references I need to be a successful job candidate. She is very conscientious and has been wonderful to work with during this process. I would recommend Amey to anyone who needs to re-establish themselves in the work world!

Career Excuse has been a huge help for me. 5 years ago I had been out of work for over a year-my industry was going through difficult times and literally thousands of positions had been eliminated. The few positions that were being filled were only interviewing current job holders which put me in a bind. William quickly me set up for a job reference and this allowed me to get in front of employers. In a couple of months I was able to secure a new position. I couldn't have done this without the help of Career Excuse.

I had trouble to use my previous manager as a reference as she dislikes me personally. It was extremely unfair that I had to use her as a ''professional'' reference when she was ''personally'' against me. She made me lost a job opportunity. I was so desperate and I couldn't find other referees due to the previous job was my first official work experience. I eventually found a website that's called Careerexcuse. To be honest, I was suspicious at first as I thought they might just fraud my money and never provide me the service. But I was running out of options and thought I might just give it a try. All my worries did not happen. Amey, Jennifer, and William are such a great team. They provided me a local number even I am overseas. They make the most optimal and realistic reference check for you. All the companies I applied have successfully gone through their reference check. If it wasn't them I will still be sitting here without a job and winging about my hateful boss. I am so overwhelmed with the positive result... Amey and Jennifer were so supportive and I can't word how much I appreciate them. I will definitely come back to them one day I need their help. All I can say is THANK YOU.

With today's tough economic times and mostly indifferent HR personnel, even a few months of unemployment could mean the end of one's career in most professions. I am working in healthcare industry with extremely high competition among professionals, especially in cities. I had two significant unemployment gaps that would effectively take me out of competition for a professional healthcare job. I used careerExcuse company TWICE, and it worked very well BOTH times. This is not a coincidence but hard work of Jennifer and Willam! After I described my obstacle to employment due to unemployment gaps, they quickly customized APPROPRIATE employers to fill in those unemployment gaps. Not only that they quickly provide verbal verification of past employment, they will help you to have an employment of verification form filled out for each employer if you have more than one (if needed). Many employers verify past employment by requiring employment forms, and, therefore, this is absolutely essential. If you have unemployment gaps (generally just more than 3 months), 99% of the time (with today's economy), you will NOT even get an interview. I just got an offer and passed employment verification successfully with one highly reputable employer that uses a very strict background check company. If I did not use CareerExcuse company, I would continue being unemployed. Remember: HR are NOT sympathetic to your situation if you have significant unemployment gaps. They do not care to find out if you are qualified to work. They strictly make their hiring decisions based on your past/current employment, and based on lack of unemployment gaps! These guys are sympathetic to your situation, and they know how to help you to get a second chance in your professional career (not just any job).

I can't say enough good things about Careerex. And I was able to get a six figure job by using their service. The reference they spoke to from careerexcuse couldn't have been better! I was able to write my own email reference coming from a previous 'job' for a 2nd reference. Recieved call within a half hour of email sent with a job offer! If your job history is spotty like mine you can't ask for a better resource than careerexcuse.com!

They provide a local phone number for your prospective employer to call, and will either answer the call live and set up a voicemail with the reference-provider's name.

I checked with my prospective employer and these guys returned the reference call and the employer was satisfied with the reference. It's legit and it works.

Do not waste your money. This is a total scam. Amey and her "staff" will not answer phone calls, return emails or text messages. The references are laughable. This is really terrible because people who need this service are already in a desperate situation.
