The ability to read message should be a part of having an account. Add a care.com fee onto services used on this site rather than a subscription that may not prove cost effective for a care-seeker which will turn them off from using the services at all in the future.

Just starting out with it. Easy to naviagate, but did not like that the family bio was wiped out and replaced with the job posting. Did not realize this was the case until we got a response from someone requesting the info that was supposed to be in the bio.

Too many redirections, and as a new user, it was not clear to me how, when or even IF a provider would contact me. You could clarify that easily in your intro, e.g. "Once you've filled out a job description, you can expect to be contacted VIA EMAIL by interested providers within a few days."

There is absolutely no point in Care.com. If you post a job, there is no way to communicate with any job applicants unless you upgrade to an absolutely ridiculous cost for a membership. $13 a month if you prepay for a YEAR? And if you only need it for one job, a single month costs $43. Absolutely absurd. I will never be using their service ever again.

Would like pricing disclosure in relation to access levels sooner in the experience. Would also be nice to be able to read the full profile of each caregiver without having to click to open each, as they are fairly short and would make browsing quicker.

Not enough specific info given in many of the questions in the help section.
Also there is redundancy in entering basic info. I find the navigation of the site to be cumbersome.

I am looking for a pet sitter
November 11, 2022

I am looking for a pet sitter. Posted some form of an ad just to get access. Realized I needed to "upgrade" (subscribe). So I did. Now that I have upgraded, I'm still seeing the applicant's information blocked, and being told I need to upgrade to see more. I suggest having a tester go through this process on different browsers (I'm using Chrome) and trying to weed out the bugs. Otherwise I love your site. I've used it in the past for my kids care too but couldn't figure out how to log in again, so I may have multiple accounts. Thanks

I do not like the way you do not have the option of continuing with the limited use, you must purchase a premium membership and then you have no choice but to continue to agree to future charges of 38.99 per month if you don't cancel EVEN if you buy a one month only membership.
