2 of the dozen or so cards I purchased were absolutely worthless - didn't have any value. And I haven't tried using several others so there's no telling yet if there are more like those 2. Unacceptable.
They took care of my problem in 24 hours. They refunded our money back to pay pal. The cards are great. I tell every one about them!
Highly recommend card cash... excellent value!
Best prices on gift cards. Fast delivery. This is an unbeatable value and a great tool to save money!
Easy purchase, no issues at Merchants. I love card cash. I have save a significant amount of money buying gift cards for restaurant's.
System flag me for some reason and was not able to purchase. Went to Card pool and did it.
Customer service and emails to resolve issue did nothing.
Bought Chipotle Gift Card with additional percentage off, tried to use it that very day, did not work. This is the 3rd straight time this happened. I opened a case and received my money back like always but not even a courtesy email with an apology like the previous times. Very unprofessional.
This is the second time I have purchased a discounted gift card from Cardcash. Great deals and very easy, no problem at the store. Will definitely continue to use Cardcash!
We are gathering up restaurant cards to use during our travels this summer. Saving money made easy. I love it.
My order was Cancelled by card cash because of a claimed fraud risk with no other explanation even though I contacted them
I've tried placing several orders, but every one gets cancelled for being "suspicious", even though these cards get used on dozens of other sites without a single incident. Emails to customer service are ignored. Unsubscribing to their newsletters is also ignored.
I am so glad my daughter told me about CardCash! My husband and I eat out quite often and we are saving money each time. I receive my ecards immediately and have had no problems using them.
Great deals on all varieties of gift cards available today! Easy selection process with easy peasy checkout! Electronic gift cards emailed almost immediately and store cards shipped quickly!
I made my order from your site and it was cancelled without reason. In the end my card was blocked and I had to start sorting this out with my bank. Eventually, bought the cards from staples. Horrible experience- will not shop here or on abcgiftcards ever again.
Beware of Cardcash. I have had several cards that I purchased from Cardcash that have had problems. Fortunately, I attempted to use all of them within the 45 day timeframe, so I received a refund. I don't think that the headache is worth it nor do I want to be involved with fraudulent business practices whether it is caused by Cardcash or those that sell the card to them. I am removing my email address so they can't send me those extra percent off deals - it is too tempting! It is embarrassing to give a certificate to a cashier and they say "sorry, zero balance on this." Hand them another certificate, "sorry, zero balance on this one as well. No thanks - DONE!
CardCash is beyond shady. They sell cards with no or lower balance and try to hide behind a 45 day rule for refunds. It is amazing how at Day 46 the balance becomes $0 if it wasn't $0 already. There is only one remedy: Credit Card Chargeback. Don't trust CardCash - they suck!
I'm sorry about your obviously negative experience with us! Our gift cards do not revert to a $0 balance on day 45. We always encourage our customers to check their balance before they head out to shop AND to use it within 45 days to mitigate the risk. If you have any other issue that you'd like to discuss with us, please email: [email protected]
I've used Cardcash for years and have done my last transaction with them. The last three times that I dealt with them, 7 of 8 cards came with zero balance. There is no reason to get a card with no balance, since they could very easily confirm the balance at the time of sale. Giftcard Zen and Raise offer much better options and have better controls on their business. These guys have no sense of customer satisfaction and just don't care anymore. Avoid at all costs.
Guy, I am really sorry to hear that you feel this way about our company. It seems like you had a really bad experience with most of your gift cards going bad on you! In truth, CardCash has never had more fraud protection in place than what they have now. We do care about you and all of our customers and we're so sorry about your experiences. Please email us at [email protected] if there's anything else I can do for you.
All their Tropical Smoothie cards have never worked along with their Five Guys, Einstein Bagel, and KFC cards. Of course I have purchased working gift cards. They do provide a 45 day warranty on their cards but what you don't know is that the value on the cards can magically disappear at anytime. Quoting from their customer support: "Buying from any Marketplace involves the classical Risk vs Reward decision. Consumers shopping on a marketplace can save up to 35% but will at times receive cards that are invalid or have a balance discrepancy. This is not something we can control. However, in order to make our customers feel a bit more comfortable we offer a 45 day buyer protection guarantee." This basically means you have to rush and use the gift cards within this time period. I would only purchase a card if you will use it right away. I've already lost two gift cards. The value of the gift cards can apparently disappear at any time. The loss easily offsets any savings. The hassle and risk is not worth any potential savings. This basically means that you can buy a gift card at up to like 1%-35% off but possibly lose 100% if you don't use it within 45 days. I don't know many people who rush to use a gift card and who even thinks of this classical Risk vs Reward decision? I am not thinking of risk when purchasing a gift card. I have lost about $130 from this website. The "chance" of saving 1-20% is meaningless when you risk losing 100%. This website should be categorized as a gambling website.
John, I am sorry about your bad cards! You do seem to be encountering a lot of bad gift cards. Usually there is a very small chance that a gift card will go bad. We are constantly working on detecting fraudulent sellers so we can protect our buyers even better. I hope your future experiences will be more positive ones.
I bought a Friday's and Panera Gift card. Tried to use them the other day and BOTH had a zero balance. Immediately contacted customer service to report it, but because I was outside the 45 day window was denied a refund. I received an obviously canned email basically saying FU not our problem. That tells me this sort of thing must happen all the time. Their anti-fraud "vetting" obviously isn't as good as it claims to be. I shouldn't have to hold my breath worrying that someone is going to steal my money at any moment if I don't use the card right away. FYI Raise has a one year guarantee!
Jeff, As a secondary gift card marketplace we do have bad cards from time to time. I am very sorry about your experience, if there is anything I can do to help you please send an email to [email protected].
I had the same problem as numerous other people. I have purchased a egift card for Cracker Barrel. I checked the balance when received and balance was as advertised. Then the balance disappeared. Contacted support and received a refund in about 3 weeks. Bought another (now at a higher price) and same thing happened. 0 balance when I went to use it. Will not be using again!
Elaine, That is very upsetting! We have a very small percentage of gift cards that go bad. I"m sorry that your gift cards went bad twice. Please contact [email protected] if you need any more assistance.
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
CardCash.com is the web's largest gift card exchange. Sell your gift card for cash, buy gift cards to your favorite merchants at a discount!

Marian, I'm sorry about that! I'm happy you caught it within 45 days. CardCash is a secondary marketplace and like all marketplaces it comes with a risk. We hope the reward outweighs the risk! Please let me know if we can help in any other way by contacting [email protected].
