I ordered 4 to 6 cards in three different orders and every time at least 2 cards were bad. Will not order again, not worth the trouble.
I purchased 5 cards from CardCash and three were "voided" somewhere along the process, leaving me with $0 value. They have a 45 day guarantee, and won't budge if you look for a refund after that. They say they verify value, but it's hard to believe they do if I got three cards within two months that had $0 value.
Don't risk your money.
I bought two Benihana gift cards totaling $75.
I tried to use them at the local Benihana 3 months later,
Mind you i only had a copy of the cards and their pins, not the actual card.
The manager came out and informed me I had been SCAMMED.
The Beninhana gift cards I had paper copies of were fake, bogus, invalid.
(not expires, not a value of 0. But BOGUS).
Cashcard refused to refund my purchase price because my complaint was after
Their 45 day "guarantee".
Cardcash claims to validate every card listed on their site... but how could they have validated these cards if the manager ran them and found them to be bogus.
Avoid cardcash or pay the price like i did.
Want to get scammed than buy a gift card from this dishonest site. Bought a $50 gift card and right after the 45 day window I went to use the card and low and behold no balance. SITE IS A RIP OFF AND DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
Wow - really - you can't trust them - at all. The 45 day window is stupid - and yes, outside of that 45 day window your card will be 'DOA'.
Use Raise.com - they have a 1 year guarantee - much more reasonable.
Imagine giving a friend a gift card you purchased from CardCash and they don't use it for a couple of months. They go to the merchant, and lo and behold - the card isn't any good. Your friend thinks you are not so much of a friend...
Like all the other reviews I was scammed! I purchased a 50 gift card and low and behold right after the 45 day window my card had zero balance! Stay away from the site!
I trusted CARDCASH just as I have trusted other gift card re-sellers. The difference is that CARDCASH has an issue with cards having a 0 balance once their 45 day guarantee period has lapsed, taking advantage of trusting people. I have one question - where do these balances go? It is not just a coincidence, obviously, the balances are being removed once the guarantee period has lapsed.
I bought 3 Benihana gift cards in April. I didnt use them immediately like i should have but contacted Benihana corp offices. They stopped excepting third part certificates in March. Had another experience that was bad bought two Cracker Barrel gift cards in March the balances wee used prior to getting the cards. Once again i tried to use after 45 days they denied the claims as they did in both cases. I had another experience with a Kohls gift card the card was valid upon receipt but Kohls put a credit hold on the card and once again CardCash would do nothing. Had another bad experience Kona Grill gift card they sold me for $100 another person used a portion like $57 after i bought it. I had the same problem with 3 gift cards for Fridays they were used already but they did give me credit on one of the three. CardCash said said sorry and did nothing in most all cases. If the deal looks too good to be true then it is. The only way i would use card cash if i was buying the card and using the same day of purchase and be ready to be embrassed at a place due to the card value of zero.
Sold me a $50 taco bell gift card, went to use and found out it had a zero balance... refused a refund! Will file with BBB
I bought a Cracker Barrel giftcard supposedly worth $50, but according to Cracker Barrel it had already been used before Cashcard had sold it to me. They don't check balances before selling their cards.
CardCash is a scam business. They will sell you a worthless gift card and then refuse
To give you a refund saying that it is not their fault. The e-gift cards that they sell are
Usually worthless. Don't waste your time and ink to print them out. Better yet don't fall prey to their promises of a big discount on a worthless gift card.
Unfortunately, I bought two gift cards, Panera and Cracker Barrel, for my elderly parents for Christmas. Both had zero balances when presented by my parents at the stores. Unfortunately, they used the cards after the 45 day guarantee period, so CardCash refused to make good on these cards. This must happen often and must be a tremendous source of illegitimate funds for this company. Beware and don't shop on this site.
I think at worst they resell the card numbers multiple times, or at best they do not protect their customer by insuring that Card Cash takes physical possession of a gift card when they purchase one for resell.
Purchased 3 cracker barrel gift cards for $50 each. Checked balance when received. Went to use one 2 months later and balance was zero, when I checked, all of them had a zero balance. This was beyond the 45 day guarantee for CardCash so no refund from them.
Fully 1/3 of the cards I purchase, both paper and physical, are bogus. Either they have a 0 balance when I check them online or the merchant runs the card and says the card has a zero balance. Apparently Cardcash sends the cards out without ever verifying their balances. In CC's favor, they refund the price paid relatively quickly, but the time I waste getting a refund negates any discount on the cards initially. I have stopped using these gift card websites, all of them are crapshoots.
Some brands seem a little more risky than others in terms of fraud, but I've had positive results overall, and CardCash service was prompt and courteous about the exceptions.
Most of the cards they sell are invalid and purchased with stolen credit cards. It's a huge hassle to get your money back from them so stay away
My husband bought me an Ann Taylor card for $150 and I tried using it at the department store. They almost brought the cops because this gift card was bought with a stole credit card. Not only was I embarrassed but I was humiliated by the manager. I told them I bought it through card cash and had my receipt. Cardcash has REFUSED to REFUND me MY MONEY back. They sold me a gift card that was bought with stolen credit card. DO NOT BUY these cards. This company will NOT GIVE YOU YOUR money BACK. It is so upsetting that they buy these stolen cards and refuse to pay you back.
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
