They not only profit by the spread of buy-sell gift card. They may do the fraudulent practice and void your card after 45+*** days if it is not used yet so they can resold the card to the next buyer. And they claim the 45 days protection plan, meaning legally turn your money into theirs.
Now I have to wait 5 business days for them to review this... basically they get to keep my money for almost 1 week... this is how they're making $... keeping your money and making interest! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. DO NOT EVER BUY ANY OF THEIR GIFT CARDS. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS
CardCash does not have a reasonable protection for their buyers. They have only 45 days guarantee, I usually buy discount cards from Raise.com. They have one year guarantee.
Wrote letter to BBB.com with no results. They are private company and have their own rules. Denied to refund all my money.
If you decide to buy from them regardless all negative reviews make sure you check your gift card balance before you use it and make sure to use it within 45 days after the purchase. If you won't be able to use it you will loose all your money.
Bought a gift card for $80.84. Checked and verified the balance after it arrived. Did not use the gift card until after the 45-day "guarantee". The merchant told me that the balance was "0" when I went to use it. Re-checked the balance on-line and realized that it was indeed "0". CardCash replied "you should have used it within the 45-day guarentee period". So, I just lost $80.84. You have been warned, if you buy from them.
This company has a 45 day guarantee of refund but after the 45 days expires, it appears that someone in the office keeps track of your purchase and if a balance remains on either a physical or ecard, you are taken advantage of and lose your money! To think Forbes just named this thief, Elliot Bohn, "America's Most Promising CEO under 35". HUH! He should be wearing stripes instead! Shameful! I will be following up with the state fraud division and suggest all others do the same.
I bought the gift card and went to the restaurant, (solely because I bought the gift card) ended up looking stupid, and spent a lot more money than I would have if the gift card worked. Instead, the gift card was reported STOLEN and that the account was closed. This 'company' seems to be a fraud or scam, whether they sell gift cards, then use them, or if they buy stolen gift cards.
I would recommend NEVER buying anything from them, I ended up wasting money and time.
Should stand behind product they sell. I used card after 45 days and it had a zero balance. CardCash refused to take any action even through merchant could identify where the card had been used and that it had been swiped. Will not buy from them again.
Customer service is a pathetic joke. Their default answer paraphrases as sucks to be you. After 45 days cards go to zero value and the seller can resell to another sucker. Customer service relies on the 45 day period to deny you any help. There are far better card sites out there. I was not aware you could sell a gift card with a 45 day expiration date. Most states have laws that address this issue - its only a matter of time until these scam artists get prosecuted.
There 45 days refund policy is totally a JOKE and scam. When you think about you purchase a gift card, the value should be protected forever but not only 45 days. The original giftcard holder who sell gift card to cardcash, they can re-use the giftcard for themselves again on day 45th. Not only that, I purchases 6 of $100 Dunkins gift card and now Dunkins Donut claimed that giftcard.com is not their authorized dealer and they are blocking the giftcard and ask me to have cardcash.com refund to me. Of Course, cardcash.com keeps on mentioning they only do 45 days refund policy. Rethink before purchasing any giftcard from this site because other merchants might / would claim the same as Dunkins. We all should report cardcash scam to BBB and file joint legal action against this company.
I purchased just couple of times of gift card from their website and found very high frequency problems of the card selled there, one card totally empty with nothing on it and i have lost almost $100 dollars. Another card lost the remaining balance shortly after the first use. And their customers service also extremely terrible! Don't try this website.
I tried to sell them my gift card and sent them the required documents. They flagged my order as a security risk!
DO NOT DEAL with their customer service. It is literally the worst customer service i have ever received. I have been waiting 2 weeks now so i can cancel a pending transaction, and I'm lucky if i get customer service to email me back ONCE in like 3 days. They need to focus on customers more, and have more people available to help customers out. As of now, i am STILL waiting on their trashy customer service to reply to me. IF you get a problem with CARDCASH, their customer service sure as heck won't fix it in a timely manner. They act like they are on their own schedule and the customer can wait until 4 weeks to get a problem fixed. Absolutely horrid.
Pleased stay away from this company. They sell cards that do not work! I lost $277.67 for nothing because of this company. No one took this card and could not figure out why. Their customer service is EXTREMELY horrible, too. They kept talking about their guarantee period of 45 days and did nothing. Again I lost $277.67 over the card they sold to me. You'd better stay away from Cardcash.com!
First, I purchased the gift cards and then I went to check reviews. Since I didn't yet use the cards, I was really worried after reading all these negative reviews. But in my experience, the gift cards were as described and were used within a week of their arrival. After I received the gift cards in the mail, I also realized that this is the same company I purchased my restaurant gift card from last year and that gift card was also used without any issues.
This company cannot be trusted. They buy stolen gift cards and then sell them to you! The balance falls to ZERO within a few weeks because the vendors shut the cards down once it is discovered to be paid for with stolen credit cards. Their customer service could care less. Their guarantee period of 45 days is the SHORTEST of all the discount gift card websites for this reason.
I have lost so much money buying cards and finding the value is gone. Their guarantee is too short and too much dishonesty somewhere in the process. I probably will end my relationship with this company.
At first, business had been going good for months selling my unwanted gift cards. Just recently, I wanted to sell another gift card so I received the payment is ready notices by email. After awhile, I was wondering what was taking so long for the payment to go through. I checked my sell order status and it showed I got paid but nothing showed in my PayPal account. I clicked on the order number link and it showed a deduction. WTF?! Deduction for what?! So I emailed customer service and couldn't get a straight answer as usual. I think this company has their own financial issues so they need to steal from their customers. I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau!
I purchased two gift cards. I used the majority of one gift card and later attempted to use the balance of the card, along with the second gift card. The balance, as well as the entire amount of the second card had been used by someone else.
CardCash - I buy a $25 gift card. The gift recipient goes to use it and it only has $14.41 on it. So you refund me $9.34 and think it's all good? Not a chance! Better Business Bureau will hear about this as well as every social media access I can find! Oh, I also bought a $50 Dunkin Donuts gift card in August for a Christmas present and was told, Sorry, 45 day buyer protection has expired. Don't get sucked in, friends! Gift card buyers BEWARE!
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
