They are a scam! They charge you for the cards and they sell you empty gift cards!
Horrible customer service. They are joke. I don't recommend this website to anyone. I went to the store with cards and they had no value. Couldn't recoup my money back from them. They didn't even try to help me.
Absolutely stay away from this scammers.

Shady
May 1, 2018

I don't trust any company that forces me to create an account in order to use their service. Card Cash forced me to create an account (no 'guest login' option was available) in order to make a one-time purchase of a measly gift card. Once I created the account, my purchase was flagged as spam! I called customer service and they told me to use a credit card instead of (the much more secure) PayPal. Shady, shady, shady!

Don't buy from this flakey company
April 20, 2018
Updated review

They have continued to ignore my wish that their legal department confirm that they are not legally bound to provide me with the cards I originally purchased. They refunded my purchase price for one of the cards without my writing their legal department avowing that I would destroy the card (they never sent me an actual card) and never use the number. When I asked them to refund the remaining card (I have given up on getting them to send me a valid card), they refused to do it until I write the aforementioned letter to their legal department. I have now done that and given them a 7 day deadline to refund my money. I doubt they will comply.

Months ago I ordered a Flemings (Blooming Brands) gift card. It was rejected at Carrabas and I was told it had zero balance - too bad because the 45 day guarantee had passed. After a few calls, I found out that both cards had the full $50 balance. So I went to Outback Steakhouse (another Blooming Brands restaurant), but the card was denied. CardCash customer service was worthless. I found out that even though they said their card was good at all Blooming Brand restaurants, it was only good at Flemings. I requested they send me the correct cards and agreed to destroy the records of the original cards. They claimed they could not do that and insisted I write to their legal department confirming I would never use the original numbers in return for a refund. I refused and asked their legal department to confirm that they did not have to honor my purchase. They responded by issuing me the refund anyway. This isn't the first time I have had problems with a purchase, but I can make it the last time!

I got burned
April 17, 2018

I bought a $50 Chick-Fil-A gift card on cardcash.com and didnt try to use it til after the 45day guarantee window had closed. When I did try to use it, the cashier got a message that the account had been closed. When I called Chick-Fil-A, they said the card was inactive because the $50 had been used/removed less than a week after Id bought it! Ill NEVER go to that site again.

Zero Balances
April 17, 2018

I bought an ATHOME gift card and did not use it right away. Then when I did use it there was zero balance and no transaction history. I called cardcash and Athome and none were any help. I bought the gift card because I was looking for a deal not to get ripped off. But that is what happened. I read online that crackheads steal credit cards and then buy gift cards and then sell them on cardcash as a way to maximize their theft and try and allude the police. But then the merchant finds out and cancels the card. I did not hear this was the case in my incident. I just heard nothing. Very annoying. I will never buy gift cards off a card market anymore.

Like the other reviewers, (a) I've been using resellers almost from the day the concept started online, and (b) I must have bought a dozen cards from cashcard.com (aka abccard.com). They ALL had a zero balance. One time I caught it before the 45 day guarantee and did get my money back, but tough toenails if you don't discover the zero balance in that brief period! The worst part was, three of their illegitimate cards were Christmas gifts to family and friends! I was so embarrassed. Stick with cardpool and raise (1-year guarantee), giftcardbin (100 days and lovely people) and giftcardkangaroo (forget the guarantee time, 100 days or something). Always had a great experience with these four, and even when there was a problem with the card (caca happens to the most conscientious of resellers), great customer service and fast refund. In sum, as the other reviewers have stated, this company, cardcash.com, is a total fraud. I threw away hundreds of dollars here. Don't be deceived or tempted by the discount rates that "surpass" the legit companies. There's a reason these criminals are publishing those rates... along with the outrageously unrealistic 45-day guarantee period. "A fool and their money are soon parted."

I used the buybuybaby.cashcard.com on my ToysRUs gift card that had $30 in it. This company is nothing but a scam. After I used this the site as directed from Bed Bath and Beyond, the balance I check was emptied out to zero and then I got an email stating: "Thank you for visiting buybuybaby.cardcash.com. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with the exchange at this time, as our system has flagged your order as high risk. Your cards have not been exchanged and are now available for your personal use. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please note:
Our customer care representatives do not have any additional information. - The buybuy Baby Exchange Crew". The card balance is still at zero.
Please read the other reviews of people who had the same experience. Please let it be known to everyone of this scam company.

Cardcash sold me Lowes credit instead of actual gift card. Lowes changed rules that you need to provide license with store credit, hence my card got locked out. Past 45 day period so out of luck... wont use cardcash again.

Scam
March 28, 2018

I purchased a $100 Spa Finder Card from cardcash.com for $82.46. I was checking out at the spa and found out that $50 of the card was used at Swan Day Spa in California. I live in Atlanta. I contacted Card Cash and the rep was dismissive and not sympathetic at all. Card cash finally refunded me $41.23. I supposedly had $50 still on the card. Before going back to the spa, I called Spa Finder to double check the remaining balance on the card. The remaining balance was $0. Now I am going through my bank to get the remaining $41.23 refunded. I asked Spa Finder where the last $50 was spent. Again, it was Swan Day Spa in California.

A few years ago, CardCash was pretty good. Now, it seems like it is the main place for identity thieves to launder money by stealing someone's credit card, buying gift cards with them, and posting them on CardCash before the person calls to report their card was stolen.
(Seriously, at least one of my cards from CardCash was reported as invalid because it was purchased with a stolen card.)
The final straw was that my wife bought a $1000 gift card to West Elm, tried to use it online, and discovered that the card had a balance of $0.00! She called customer service, and they asked "when did you buy it?" She replied, "7 minutes ago!" Response: "it'll take 3-5 days to process your refund."
So, for several days, I was out $900 and my wife could not take advantage of a limited-time 25% off sale at West Elm.
Did I mention this was the 4th time this has happened in the past 18 months?!? Red Lobster ($50), Ikea ($400), and Panera ($10) were the previous frauds.

I purchased some Panda Express paper voucher gift cards. The cards did not have a pin, just the card number. There were no problems using the cards at first. Then Panda Express changed the rules for redemption requiring a pin. The cards still had their stored values... I was just unable to use them w/out a pin. When I reported the problem to CC, they would only issue a refund for the ones that were purchased within 45 days. The older ones were declined. I tried arguing that what they sold me was not as described. The instructions on the paper card specifically say that the Store Associate needs to input a pin. Since they denied my claim for the older cards, I'm just going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Everyone that's ever been screwed over by CardCash should do the same. The BBB is useless. The credit card companies and banks are much more helpful. As far as they're concerned, the customer is always right.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
March 13, 2018

I purchased 2 gift cards & when I went to use them, there was nothing left on them. I contacted the merchant, one was used in CA, I live in NJ! The other one they said was "refused" meaning the person selling it returned it somehow. Contacting cardcash was of no use since I was out of the 45 day period. I will NEVER buy from them again and I'm telling everyone I know not to use them either. If I could have used 0 stars, I would have.

Too slow
March 13, 2018

Stick to cardpool. Cardcash is too slow. Took them so long that the sale I wanted to make use of was over before they even sent the cards out. Customer service is no help. Judging by the other reviews it might not even have any value when it gets here.

Be ware

I have been buying third party gift cards for several years now and because I just got burned, I thought Id post my experience. I purchased a gift card in November 2017 from Cardcash and tried to use it last week and was told by the merchant that its a bad card. I reached out to Gift Card and because I was outside their 45 day guarantee, they refused to do anything for me so Im out the money. There are other gift card merchants out there that have longer guarantees so my advise is to buy through them and stay away from Cardcash. To me, if the Merchant knew there was a problem with the card, Cardcash should have known also and at should stand behind what they sell.

Caveat Emptor!
March 6, 2018

I have now officially lost more money than I ever saved using Card Cash. They buy digital gift cards purchased with stolen credit cards. If you are diligent and use the gift card within 45 days, you may be fine. If not, you'll likely be the one left holding the bag. This is how it happens... You purchase a digital gift card from Card Cash thinking you're going to save ~15%. You check the balance on the digital grift card right away to make sure to make sure you didn't get ripped off. You then either don't use the gift card right away, or otherwise, don't use the entire balance within 45 days. Then, you finally do use the gift card and find out that it has a $0 balance! You contact Card Cash, and they tell you to gfy. Then, you contact the restaurant for which you purchased the gift card, and they ever-so politely tell you they are sorry, but they had to "recover the funds" from the gift card because it was purchased with a stolen credit card. At his point you are totally screwed. For some reason, everyone above you was able to pass their loss/culpability off to someone else. Not the thief, the credit card holder, credit card company, Card Cash, or the restaurant had to suffer the loss... just YOU, and you'll have no recourse. Everyone else above you got their money back, so they're happy, and no one where you live is you going to take the time to even try to find the original thief (as if they even could). So, long-story-short... DO NOT BUY FROM CardCash! However, if you're a thief, it seems like a great place to fence your loot. CardCash has no shame. They will happily aid and abet. I think it's time to contact the NJ State Attorney.

I BOUGHT A $75.00 STARBUCKS CARD. WHEN I TRIED TO USE IT AT STARBUCKS IT ONLY HAD $8.00 ON IT! I WAS SO EMBARRASSED. I HAD TO MAKE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS, AND SEND A NUMBER OF EMAILS TO GET A REFUND WHICH I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED! CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFERED ME NOTHING TO COMPENSATE MY INCONVENIENCE. BEWARE! THEY DON'T CHECK THE BALANCES ON THE CARDS THEY SELL!
