If you buy it, you get stuck with it. Never again will i buy anything from cardcash. Better off just paying full price at each location than risking your money and time with these people. Clipped me for $100.
You can't control if the person you give a gift to is using it in 45 days (guarantee) so my gift recipient used later and there was a zero balance. Embarrassing and a waste of money.
I checked their site the morning of Black Friday in which the Petco gift cards were offered at 20% off. I waited a few hours and received an email from CardCash saying all cards were an extra 5% off on Black Friday. So I went to order one on Black Friday assuming I would get 25% off with their code, only to find out they dropped the original % off from 20 to 16%, meaning I only got a lowsy extra 1% off. VERY SHADY MARKETING PRACTICES!
I hate this company. They give you false hope of your in need of money. I followed every direction. Filled out everything. I received a email saying my order was high risk (whatever that means) and when I called no one could explain to me what happened to my gift card I was trying to sell. I emailed them 8 times and I have still gotten no where. No one has contacted me. So I decided to go use the gift card only to find out my funds had been removed. I don't not recommend this company to anyone.
Please be aware of this completely bogus company. They make there money on the verification fee, it's only $1.00 but they charge you to verify your information and card you are trying to sell. They will then decline your offer to sell after a few days and not return your money for a few more days the whole time collecting interest on your money and wasting your time.
I bought several Home Depot e cards they advertised on their sites, but never receive any e cards within 24 hours, nor get any response from them within 24 hours as they states on their site.
I have been selling to Cardcash for a few years now. The last two transactions were my last two with Cardcash. After both sales were confirmed and I sent the cards to Cardcash, they changed the terms of the sales. They said due to fraud they would need a copy of my driver's license. I said due to identity theft I will not send my DL in. They have been dragging their feet in returning my cards, so I will find somewhere else to sell my gift cards in the future.
It's a scam. They claimed they sent me two checks that was cashed when I was only was supposed to receive one. I showed proof that my bank account only showed one check cashed. I had to pay for additional check I didnt receive or else I would jepordize my good credit if I didn't pay. Don't recommend this business to anyone.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE-A SCAM AND A FRAUD-BE WARY! Adevertise big savings and then don't let you use your credit card to charge the item-scam to draw you in. Just submitted to better Business bureau.
I must update it. They got me the refund within few hours and i have took off my chargeback. They are responsive.
I wil make it quick. I never leave reviews but i thought this must be written in order to let people know and be aware of CardCash scam. First j bought 4700$ worth of Nordtrom gift card. One wasnt working after being sent out, they are claiming that it was stolen. Then i placed an order on Nordstrom.com, getting a call from them afterward saying that they will freeze a 1000$ worht of guft cards since they were fraudulently aquired and investigation will take up to 30days. Nordstom decided to take back the money, and wrote me an email explaining that. In quick, this company is buying fraudulent gift cards and tryig to rip us off. Be very carfull. I am doing a chargeback anyway and planning doing whatver it takes to harm them. Go to Raise.com. Much safer.
Buying cards is a huge risk with the site. I have bought hundreds of dollars in cards only to find ones that I did not immediately use were emptied - probably by the sellers. About $300 in cards were covered by the 45 day guarantee but another $300 or so were worthless (and I ended up eating the entire loss)
The website said you would get ecards in minutes. It's been 24 hours and I have yet to receive mine. I submitted a ticket to get it refunded and they won't because they said I already bought it, but I've yet to get it through email. You also can't access you cards through their site, you have to find it in your email and print it from that. Raise is a much better site, you get electronic cards instantly and you can view your card information at their site/app whenever/wherever you want. That way you don't have to search through your email and download the card everytime.
Thia app sends money into your gidts cards when they run low...simply put in the gift card pin and card number..play a fee games and survey..more money will go into your card. I was down $3 on a target card and i ended up with $7 more on it after playing a few games on the app it does work
So back in July, I tried to sell my P. F. Chang's gift cards. They said I needed to "verify" with my credit card for "fraud protection", sounds like a load of $#*! for me, so I fill in the info and then wait 1 - 2 days. I actually made a mistake on putting the credit card info and they STILL charged my PayPal account! I got it refunded after 2 weeks, then tried again. I waited when I put in the verification on August 8th, and I waited 3 weeks! What kind of "verification" is that!?. I had to send them several emails just to get my money back, and after that, I will never do business with this company again. Steer clear away from this company and SaveYa, who is also known for doing these same kinds of things, you buying gift cards, and there being a zero balance, or them "freezing " your account because your a supposed "FRAUD RISK", that made me burst out with laughter. As I previously stated, steer clear away from these companies and use card selling sites/apps that don't require credit card verification, such as CardSell on the iOS store, or allaboutgiftcards.
Glitchy verification process prompted PayPal to lock me out of my account. After finally getting that mess sorted out and completing the sale, I received a generic email saying that my transaction was declined. No reason given. I messaged support to inquire on why they declined the sale of two verified balance gift card by a user that had just endured an inexplicably glitchy authentication process. Their response - "Must have been a silly mistake. You're destined to use those gift cards after all!" Seriously?
And find out afterwards that they flagged the cards so I couldn't even try again to sell them. CardCash is a giant clusterf@¢k.
Take your business to one of their many competitors unless you enjoy having your time wasted.
Basically I lost my credit card info to them and got nothing in return. There are other places if you want to buy gift cards, this is not one of them. Plus their discount rates are not very competitive compared to others.
I had a starbucks gift card and I wanted to exchange it since I don't go to starbucks. I ended up getting an email saying they flagged my order as "high risk" whatever that means. I can assure you that the gift card I had was never use. That said, I went to my bank account to check if there was any chances since I gave them my information. I then saw that they had charged me $1 and the transaction is still pending.
I bought $350 worth of fraudulent HYATT hotel gift cards.
Unfortunately, I was unable to redeem them prior to their 45 day grace period.
They claim that after the 45 day grace period, they will not honor any problems with the cards.
When I attempted to redeem the cards with HYATT, they said that they DO NOT accept cards that are resold.
They also did not have a pin number on them which would have been necessary to make them valid.
I was denied the ability to discuss the matter with their legal department.
They sold me goods that were invalid from the get go!
Terrible, terrible, terrible.etc
They received my payment information for the transaction and then sent me an email that said "ORDER # *******
Dear Devrie McCuistion,
Thank you for being a valued CardCash customer.
Unfortunately, we were unable to process your order.
Your order has been flagged by our fraud systems as high risk.
As a result, your order has been canceled and you have not been charged."
There IS a pending charge on my Master Card. I would dispute it, but now all I can do is watch to see if it goes through. I am a retired lady with excellent credit, not a scratch on my record and I use the email address they had me sign up with and verify all the time. Seems they are collecting peoples credit card information.
Don't buy from them... Bought a Bass pro card from them and went to use it money had been transferred to a Cabela's card. Card cash would not refund my money. They are crook's stay away.
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
