Avoid this company
March 20, 2019

I have been a customer of Card Cash for some time without problem. I might buy a card or two a month, never more than $100 to $150. I was on vacation in Hawaii when I was notified that my checking account was overdrawn, then my savings account had to be utilized in overdraft coverage. In short card cash allowed nearly $5,000.00 to be charged on my account without so much as a phone call, text or email to determine if in fact I was spending so much money. I can't tell you what happened because despite numerous requests I can't get a return call back. Bottom line is your debit/credit card information is not safe with them.

Resold my gift card
March 18, 2019

Bought a $50 Chili's card. Chili's said zero balance and told me that this card had been used up in another State. I bought the card so it should have been mine. I did not give permission for someone else to use it, nor did I want to sell it. They basically stole this money from me and made a double profit. Cardcash said because I did not use it within the 45 day period, there is nothing they can do. In other words, what they are saying is that the gift card can be resold again if I don't use it within 45 days. This is just wrong.

This site isn't what it seems like. Their are countless claims that this site is fraudulent. I myself experience it, I sold my Kohls card and with the correct information I keep getting emails back from cardcash that I entered incorrect information. Stay away from this website at all costs.

I bought a restaurant gift card from them, I paid $24 for a $40 gift card. When I went to use it, the restaurant said there was no money on it, and that they ran it a second time just to make sure they didn't make a mistake the first time. I filed a claim with CardCash, they quickly refunded my $24, which was nice, but I would never have eaten at that restaurant without the card, so in my book I'm out $16, not terrible, but there's no excuse for the card failure in the first place.

SCAM
February 20, 2019

I mailed 6 gift cards and they only claim to have received 2. They were all in an envelope together so this is impossible. I'm out hundreds of dollars.

Quite possibly the worst online experience with ANY company I've encountered.
I understand the need for extra security protocols. I went through the arduous process of verifying my phone number, e-mail, bank account and debit card all to sell a $13 gift card. The result? They approved, accepted the order and then the following day canceled the order for a fraud alert (am I going to scam them out of a $13 card?).
I must question how much longer they will be around or when they have a data breach. They phish for information and don't want to buy a card. It seems like they wanted my financial information more than the gift card.
Now I have to monitor my gift card and bank account on a daily basis as there are too many red flags with this company.

Hello,

We apologize, our security system has declined your order, and unfortunately we have no further information as to why the order can not be processed. As a gift card company, we need to take proper precautions before accepting the sale of gift cards, and we are unable to bypass our security system.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

Regards,
Arlene

I decided to sell card case my unwanted giftcards. I sold them Outback Steakhouse giftcards. I mailed them the cards. After a week, I got an e-mail asking for a copy of my driver licence. They wanted to make sure I lived at the address the order came from. I submitted a copy. A week after that I got an e-mail stating to call *******227 ext 302. After trying to several days, I finally spoke to a real person. He told me my order had been flagged as "high risk" and they will be mailing back the cards. This is a SCAM. Now they have all the card numbers and pin numbers. So, I basically got ripped off. I filed a BBB complaint. Since I am in New Jersey, I'm going to file a lawsuit in small claims court against Card Cash. I will come back on here to update the progress of the lawsuit.

Bait and switch
February 4, 2019

I recently bought Shell gasoline cards at a discount that was supposed to be 7% and after getting the cards they show a 1% discount which CardCash says I agreed to, I would never risk buying gift cards to gain 1%, they say I agreed to the price and discount which is not true. Who in their right mind would risk or agree to a 1% discount, they are committing fraud all I get is stonewalling on the phone like I agreed to 1% which is a ridiculously small discount a $10.00 card for $9.90 cents does that make sense to risk $10.00 TO SAVE A DIME and after 45days the card can be worthless. What a scheme why is this type of business allowed to pilfer people out of their money when they just try to get ahead in this life? Glenn Iverson

I have purchased AMC Gift Card on Dec 10,2018, the card value was $50 when paid $40.55 with discount 18.9% off the card value, it was work for one time use with $13.82( card value, real cost should with discount 18.9%), it was not recognized when I use it in AMC Store at second time. It was big problem that I talk with AMC Staff about gift card situation, and I report the problem to CashCard, and got no excuses and compensation. After back and forth communication ( they don't want to refund to me with their card problem), they finally refund with unreliable math, the refund was $40.55( real paid) - $13.82(card value, not real paid) =26.73 with 18.9% off(that's insane), so I got $21.67, I was really disappointed and felt disgust ion what they did, they have fraud behavior and cheat the customer. I thought it was not the first time they did, Do not buy or sell the Gift Card on CashCard! Let them broken down!

I put in my gift card number and the system returns that my card is high risk so it's denied... ok... fine. However I know my card is legitimate and I just entered my address, my credit card number, my name, my phone number, AND my private gift card number which they now have in their system tied to my real world money so AT THE VERY LEAST I should be owed an explanation.

How do I know they are not a scam site that just took my gift card? So I send them an email but there is absolutely no customer service at all. The only reply I get is the system said you card is high risk so that's it. If a company can not explain to a customer what their system has done with their private information that's a bad company. So now with no explanation I am checking the balance on my card everyday to make sure my money isn't stolen it is a terrible and unsettling feeling and as they don't care to give customer service they can do this to anyone and actually steal your money with no explanation.

In the end I was able to sell my gift card on another site with no problems, and simply asking question that site had real and helpful service.

Cardcash is terrible.

I bought thousands worth of gift cards from Cardcash and I come across way too many fraudulent gift cards.
I have lost money on several occasions before and was told by Cardcash that it is extremely small number of cards having issues but because it's more than 45 days of purchase, nothing they can do. I have also requested refunds due to fraudulent gift cards on countless times that were found within the 45 days period.
It looks like Cardcash doesn't care about fraudulent gift cards and just try to make money on them or make so many people suffer with fraudulent gift cards. I won't be surprised if they are involved directly with these fraudulent gift cards. This kind of company that make profits by selling fraudulent gift cards to consumers should be investigated and take serious measures.
