I hesitated to buy a gift card from card cash/abc gift cards because of all the bad reviews but with the discount I end up buying a gift card. After all... they give you a 45 day guarantee right? Wrong. This company is an absolute scam. I made a purchase then next day went to use my e-gift card. It told me the gift card that I purchased that was suppose to have $350 was empty. I contacted abc/card cash. Over a week later got a reply saying the e-gift card was used after it was sent and there wasn't anything they would do. Clearly someone that works there used it or they also sold it to someone else. As there was multiple gift cards for the same amount to buy. Their 45 day guarantee is a lie. If it gets used by someone other than you after you've made the purchase purchase there is nothing they will do about it.

Has no real customer support. Use card quickly or lose any hope of recovering money spent on it. Even full value printable cards are not backed! They don't care about customer period!

If Card Cash rips you off, I suggest reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and to the NJ State Attorney General's Office. That is what I am going to do.

I bought a $100 Jimmy John's gift card in mid September. It should have had a $54.84 balance on it as of 12/16/15. When I went to use it, it came up as $0 balance. When I checked the activity on the Jimmy John's website, it clearly shows that either Card Cash, or whomever issued/loaded the card (Card Cash knows who it is), removed the balance of $54.84 from the card on 11/9/15. They literally STOLE my balance. Card Cash is refusing to refund the money. After threatening to report them, they are offering $10.

I was doing regular business with them, but will NEVER do business with them again.

After a phone call, several e-mails, and the threat of contacting the NJ State Attorney General's Office, Card Cash finally refunded me my STOLEN balance, minus the 16% savings. First, they should have done that from the start, because they or their vendor removed the money; it was very easily traceable on the Jimmy John's site. Second, the money NEVER should have been STOLEN in the first place. I am using up any other cards I have in my possession, before they steal any other balances! If it happens to you, report them! Still never using them again.

Embarrassing gift moment!

I purchased e-gift cards for all of my kids for mother's day. I e-mailed them to all 9 of my daughters. A couple of my daughters waited for that perfect evening with their husbands, went to the restaurant, ordered fun things to use the 50 dollar gifts I'd sent. When it came time to pay, the gift cards were invalid. Sent without a pin number. I contacted card cash several times for a reimbursement and they refused. They said the 45 day limit had passed. In the e-mail sent to my daughters, there was no mention of a 45 day usage period. I will never use card cash again. They are fraudulent behavior isn't worth the little bit I saved. Overall I lost money. My daughters had to find a way to pay at the restaurant (they and their husbands are students) It was an embarrassing event when it came time to pay and card cash had sent bad cards! Update! I thought I'd give them another chance... another 2 years later! Dumb me! They haven't changed, ugh! They are dishonest, they have no integrity and their customer service stinks. So much for giving them another chance, I won't make that mistake again!

Bought $100 Red Lobster

Paid $82 for a $100 Red Lobster gift card. So -- it had a zero balance and the account was even closed. What a total scam.
Never use "Card Cash" It's better to pay full price and know what you're getting.

Scam! DO NOT USE

I ordered a victoria's secret gift card for $200 and received a gift card with a $0 balance. I emailed them and haven't heard back from them yet 5 days later. Guess i'll be calling my credit card company to get my money back hopefully:(
Giftcardzen.com & cardpool.com have never failed me and i won't be trying another gift card website now!

I have finally learned my lesson with cardcash. Most of their cards have zero balance, Customer service sucks, it takes forever to give you a refund.
Every single time you buy a gift card, you have to wonder if the balance is correct and you have to use the card as soon as possible (because they might sell it to someone else)

Please stay away from the unnecessary headache!

I've purchased probably around $10,000 of gift cards from cardcash.com as I own a resell business and buy things from a lot of places. Probably 85% of the gift cards have had the correct value on them. But the other 15% had a $0 balance. Submitting a claim with them is ridiculous - you never get a response back from the claim department, or if you do, they ask for more information and you never hear from them again. Not once has the claims department or customer service actually fixed the issue when I received a gift card with $0 balance. The only way I was able to get claims resolved was to email individual employees at Cardcash.com and they took care of me and made sure I got the refund.

I have done business with CardCash since Feb. 2015. Spend over $6000 with the company. Most of the time the gift cards worked but on occasion they would have a zero balance. Recently this has happened. I bought a card on 10/6, it arrived two weeks later. Called to verify the balance and I was told the card was closed out on 10/1 - five days before I bought it. I put in a claim two weeks ago and still have no update. I used other companies as well to buy gift cards and when this issue occurs with them (giftcard bin and raise) they request you return the card and issue a refund - I get the refund the following day! Before I even get the card in the mail! That's how it should be done. CardCash has had my money ($340) for over a month and I have nothing!

Terrible

Made $1000 purchase on 10/25 of gift cards that were to be delivered to my email, after 48 hrs I still had not received the cards, had to call twice (about 45 min each) to ask where my cards were, so they cancelled my order without asking. To add insult, they did not issue my refund for over two weeks even though I emailed and called multiple times.

I ordered 3 $25 gift cards on the 26th and one of them was invalid. I immediately called customer service and the lady said she would file a claim on my behalf. 3 days passed, and I was never contacted regarding my so-called claim, and my credit card was not refunded. So this time I emailed customer service and still no reply after 2 business days. It should not take an entire week so get my card refunded! They must think if they ignore me long enough I'll forget about it. I understand they are busy, but at least acknowledge your customers! Also, this was only the 3rd time I ordered from Cardcash, and I already got an invalid gift card. I am either very unlucky or they are selling a lot of invalid gift cards.

Update 11/2: My credit card WAS refunded on 11/2. However, still never sent a confirmation email that I would be refunded. Communication could be improved.

1. Last time when I ordered their gift card, they billed it in category as "cash advance" instead of merchandise to my credit card, caused me to pay the $10.50 fee - more than the money I saved from buying their discount gift card.

2. Last Sat, I ordered E-cards when they had sale, after 24 hours, they sent an email said the payment was failed and the order was cancelled. Then I checked my credit card information, it shows they charged the same total amount three times on my card. I called them, they admit it was their site problem, but there's nothing they can do to help me to order the same cards again.

3. Also noticed they billed my credit card extra 1 cent than confirmed amount for every transaction. This means, if they make 100,000 transactions per day, that's extra $1,000 they make and steal from customers.

I've tried to use Card Cash several times before I finally learned my lesson. They will post a special "sale" for a larger percentage off and then cancel your order arbitrarily. They will post amounts to your credit card that stay on your card as "pending" for weeks tying up your credit line. IF they give you a refund it takes MONTHS arguing with them about it. And, good luck with calling customer service - you will be on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes and then still wind up speaking with someone who has English as a second language. I will send all of my business to raise.com -- no more for this company!

I bought Burger King e-cards and they were declined. I was very embarrassed and the kid was very disappointed. They told me those cards did not need a pin number but the store said they did. Please beware!

PS I did complain to customer service and they refunded my money within 5 days.

I have a very bad experience with cardcash, I just bought a Starbucks gift card worth 100 dollors in cardcash, the balance became 0 after a few times use, then I call cardcash customer service, they this order had already over the 45 day guarantee, so they will not give you refund. I will never go to cardcash buy gift card again.

You need to be very careful to deal with the 45 day guarantee!

BEWARE! Cardcash.com's "Guarantee" is a SCAM! I bought $735 worth of Best Buy gift cards from them. I thought I was being smart by saving 3.5% off face value. When I tried to use them, 3 of the gift cards worth total $70 was ALREADY SPENT or UNUSUABLE! THAT'S 10% LOST! I've tried to resolve the issue through the official channels. There's no phone number listed on the website, just an email address: *******@cashcard.com. I submitted my claim almost 3 weeks ago and provided several follow up emails with detailed information. They initially responded, but eventually started IGNORING me. I've submitted a dispute claim with my credit card company. DO NOT USE! This may be my first post, but I'm NOT a competitor -- just an unhappy customer trying to get this issue resolved by making it public. Order #*******, Date: 5/19/2015.

"I have sent them a gift card and have not gotten paid in over 2 months i was working with a woman named REBECCA CAPLAN and she has told me various times that she was going to process my payment after i send her proof of address and she gave me her word that she will do that the day i sent her it, its been 2 months of me having to call her around 4 times a day to follow up on my order and she keeps saying that she will process it today, and then will leave for the day without getting back to me, i then tried speaking to someone else named AMANDA that wouldn't want to transfer me to a supervisor, for no reason at all, she then hung up on my face i personally want to save everyone the experience i had and WARNING YOU DO NOT USE CARDCASH THERE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I then ended up doing it with CARDPOOL.COM and have received my check at no time, and they would contact me if i had a problem and not for me to have to go to run after them.

Bad service.

The first time I had a problem, they fought over a $2 credit. After I said "Is it worth fighting over $2 to lose a good customer?", they gave me the credit. The second time it was $24 on an e-giftcard that didn't work. They won't even respond, so I filed a complaint with the NJ BBB. I won't use them again. I was a big customer, so they are shooting themselves in the foot.
