It COULD be a good way to save money. But beware of using it to purchase as a gift... I purchased as a gift for someone and it DID NOT WORK which is completely unacceptable and embarrassing. Their service team says they will resolve within 3-5 business days (and I have no reason to believe they will not at this point) but the egg is already on my face.
So the lesson is if you want to take the chance to save some money go ahead, but beware of using for a situation where you could end up looking like a cheapskate who got ripped off."
They sold me an invalid gift card. Since I did not discover this during their 45 day guarantee period, they have refused my claim. The card was invalid! It was never any good. I guess it was my own fault for not checking the card sooner, but I guess I had a false sense of security with them after a few previous purchases that were satisfactory. Even though they should have seen for themselves that the card was never valid, they sold it to me anyway and refuse to make good on my claim. This type of incident is why they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau in their home state of New Jersey. Wish I'd known that $79 ago. Do your research before doing business with this company."
I bought 2 Lowes gift cards from them and neither one was valid. I tried to call and they said there was nothing they could do. When I asked to speak with the supervisor, they kept me on hold until it disconnected me. I had to get my credit card company involved. Thank goodness for good credit card companies for problems like this.
I have bought discounted gift cards from other companies, and have never had a problem with any other one.
This company has been revoked from the Better Business Bureau and therefore has a F rating with 630 complaints.

I bought a gift card there that would not even work. The balance could not even be verified. They refused to provide me with a refund nor did they accept any responsibility.
Avoid this company if you don't want to lose your money!
There are many other companies selling gift cards that can be trusted but surely not this one.
They are horrible & take no accountability
Had no value on my gift card
BE AWARE that they have a 45 day policy for an adjustment.
They have suppliers of gift cards that are either selling the same gift cards to others OR using them after selling so the balance on what you receive will be zero.
After 45 days they tell you there is nothing that they can do per their posted policy.
I have had this issue with other companies after 45 days and they made good on the zero balance card after 1 year.
The risk should be borne by the company, not their customer.
***DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CARD CASH THAT YOU WILL NOT BE USING VERY SOON***
I paid $120 for a Disney gift card that in the description said it could be used for parks and tickets to theme parks. I received a Disney Store gift card that can only be used in a Disney store. I called immediately and talked to a lady who was going to email me a label right away for me to return it as yes it did have the wrong description. Waited 2 days for email but nothing so I called back and they had no record of that phone call. So I made this new person email a confirmation that yes they were going to send me a label. Here we are a week later and still nothing. Never again!
First, be aware that you only have a 45 day period for which CardCash.com will even insure your GC is valid. We dined at Capital Grill with $100.00 GC and we're told that it had no value when the restaurant ran it through their system. I contacted CashCard.com w/in 36 hours to speak to customer service who, in turn, turned it over to there claims department. Claims department, via email, assured me the GC was fine. I phoned Capital Grill to learn it still had NO value. Finally, CardCash.com said they were wrong and plan to issue a credit. (?) CC.com does all they can to avoid your calls, emails, etc. and then make weak excuses. I have a few of their GC'S and plan to use them asap, but no more.
I purchased several hundred dollars worth of gift cards last holiday season for friends, family and co-workers. A few weeks later, one co-worker mentioned that their gift card had been partially used. I pulled the transaction history. The card had been used 7/25/2015 but I didn't purchase the card until 12/09/2015. I've emailed the company several times, but they keep quoting their "45 Day Guarantee" and tell me there's nothing they can do for me. I spend a lot of money on gift cards during the year. They've lost a customer for life over $13.79, which is the difference in the purchase price and the remaining balance. Very disappointing.
I was nervous about dealing with these people because of the reviews on this website. I Shipped them my $10 chili's gift card and received my $7.60 payment less than 2 weeks later. It deserves a better rating than this...
Just make sure you fill out the form that it TELLS you to print, it asks you to sign and date it, that's all! The rest of the info is already on the form. Send the form in with the card and get paid. Make a bloody effort to follow directions, don't just send a card and expect them to magically know who it was from. Your name on the return address doesn't mean jack to any company excluding the post office.
-- but is a small discount worth dealing with liars?
The discounts are or aren't bad, depending on the brand, but HOLY SMOKES do these people operate a shady business.
Almost any coupon or offer I got didn't work, and the customer service response is "go ahead and place the order and we'll refund it later." Ha.
They DON'T refund. In fact, when I bought a gift card and the balance was zero, they insisted they couldn't just give me an alternate gift card of the same value (even though cards with the exact same value appeared on their site as being available), but I would have to wait 3-5 days for my refund.
Then that turned into "wait 3-5 days for us to investigate, THEN we issue a refund in 3-5 days which will take 3-5 days for your bank to process..."
So then what did they do? Sent me an email with a replacement card -- EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T DO.
Then they gave me a discount coupon which didn't work, then promised a refund, then when I asked later where the refund was, the response was "What refund? Why would you get a refund?"
Certainly I saved some money here and there, but man, these folks are unethical as can be. I'll use Raise.com from now on instead.
I purchased a $100 Red Robin gift card. When I received the card the balance was $100. Several months later tried to use the card at the restaurant, but they told me balance was $0. When I got home I also checked on-line and the balance was $0. Ugh!
Card Cash offers a 45 day guarantee. Unfortunately I used the card after the 45 day period. Obviously there was fraudulent activity. I'm suspecting someone got gift card number and somehow used it. Perhaps even an employee. Card Cash would not help investigate my issue to determine when the card was used. I'm concerned this will happen with others, so stay away from CardCash.com. Its a risk not worth taking.
I bought a Denny's $100 gift card and the person I gave it to said it had a $0 balance when they tried to use it. I was reimbursed by Card Cash and thought it was just a glitch in their system so bought another Denny's $100 card to replace it and checked the balance before giving it to my kids. Again, another $0 balance. This is inexcusable in my book so won't buy another Card Cash card nor recommend it to anyone!
I like using gift card companies to save. I have used Cardpool, Giftcardrescue, and Giftcardmonster all with excellent results. I have bought dozens of cards from these 3 companies with only 1 issue that was quickly resolved. With Cardcash, I have bought roughly 25 cards with 6 issues. These problems ranged from $0 balances on cards, not receiving cards, receiving the wrong cards, receiving electronic instead of physical cards, etc. We are talking about a 25% error rate. In other words, to save a few bucks, you end up taking a 1 out of 4 chance of bad service! That is not worth my time. The customer service has been horrible, with problems rectified only after multiple phone calls. Definitely NOT worth my time to spend hours solving a problem in exchange for potentially saving, say, $8. I kept giving Cardcash one more chance to do good. Well, after the most recent mess with a card having only $30 instead of the $70 I paid, I say NO more chances! Do yourself a favor and stick with the first 3 companies I mentioned or perhaps some other company that I might not be aware of. And by the way, I have no bias as I have no affiliation past or present with any of these companies. I am just a consumer trying to received good value for his time and money.
I've used CardCash quite a bit lately to save 10-15% off some major purchases. I've purchased both ecards and physical. I will say that about 20-30% of my purchased from CardCash have resulted in bad gift cards. Either the cards arrived with zero balance or some fraud alert has been placed on the card by the merchant. Customer Support at Card Cash is good about issuing refunds on all of my claims in a timely matter. It is frustrating to receive such a high percentage of bad cards, but their customer service has always responded quickly. I would never use CardCash to give as a gift to a friend or family member. And I will only use CardCash cards for online purchases to avoid any hassles inside of a store. But, for my purposes, I have been able to utilize them for great discounts on some specific purchases!
Bought a $100 gift card to Panera to give as a Christmas gift. Saw this on Brads Deals and thought I had gotten a good deal since I only paid $80.
However, when my son tried to use the card, he was told it had no balance. I contacted them and they told me that they only guaranteed the card for 45 days. Since I had bought it about 60 days before, I was simply out of luck and also out of $80. I hadn't noticed any mention of this time period when I purchased the card.
I asked for some consideration but was given none. They mentioned their rigorous validation process for accepting cards but it didn't work for me.
I will never do business with them again and buyer beware... if you give your card as a gift to a friend or relative, make sure you tell them to use it within 45 days or else you'll look like a fool when they tell you it's no good!
Make sure to use your cards within the 45 day window. I've gotten burned several times as I've received cards that were originally purchased with stolen credit cards and the gift card was "closed" by the retailer, or, the seller of the gift card kept copied down the gift card #s and used the funds themselves. There are other sites that have better guarantees and work with you if you are a good customer.
I see a lot of negative reviews on here regarding Card Cash. I worked for Card Cash quite a few years ago. I will give you an unbiased report since i dont work for them anymore. I know that when i worked there, We had lots of fraudelent cards. I was a rep in the fraud department and I have to tell you that it took hours just researching all the cards that were fraud. We had to check to sre who really was the person who lied to us. It is very hard to know if the person that sold the card to us, used it in the interim or if the buyer was the dishonest one. It says clearly on their website that there is a 45 day policy. I understand why it is frustrating if you use it after that alloted time and your card ends up being fraud. I do agree that they dont have the best customer service, however, you have to understand where they are coming from. I would suggest only to buy a card if you know that you are making a large purchase in the next day or 2 otherwise it is not worth it. I personally would not buy the giftcards because to me I rather spend more than taking the risk to have to deal with a whole hassle. I hope that this has helped you.
After scamming people at their previous site, abcgiftcards.com, they just created a new website under a new name with same address.
At BBB website: On 9/22/2015 this business's accreditation in the BBB was revoked by the BBB's Board of Directors due to its failure to adhere to the BBB requirement that Accredited Businesses meet and abide by the following standards…"
According to info at BBB site, the following is provided:
Business Management:
Mr. Marc Acker, Principal & COO
Mr. Yali Elkin, EVP of Finance
And, apparently Mr. Marc Acker thinks so highly of himself that YOU, TOO, can book an interview with him: "To schedule an interview with MARC ACKER, call: *******750 or fill out the Do-It-Yourself Booking Form." For those who can't get through on the website's phone number, perhaps you might be able to get through at the above-mentioned number.
Also, after reading all the reviews here and for their other site, abcgiftcards.com, which included the very same issues, it is apparent that these two (or someone who works with/for them) are criminals. PLEASE REPORT THEM to the NJ STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE! If your gc were mailed, you can also file a complaint with the US Postmaster for Mail fraud!
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email [email protected] so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
