After 45 days, if you do not use the gift card, kiss the money good-bye. They have stolen money from so many people. I've been in contact with the BBB and Consumer Protection - this is a horrible scam.
I requested a refund from giftcard.com. I was out of the country and could not go to the retailer that the card was for. I contacted the merchant and giftcard. Was told that the card was not verifiable because the merchant was having technical difficulty and was not able to verify the amt. I tried calling back 5 times on different days, and the site was still down. As far as i'm concerned my gift card is invalid and I have lost my money! Bad business.
I have received multiple cards and vouchers that would not work or would stop working when available credit was supposed to be on there. I am finished with cardcash. Not worth the effort and I do not like being at their mercy to have my money returned. Avoid!
Many of these commenters believe the previous owners of these gift cards are retaining the card/pin numbers. It is too coincidental they are all waiting just past the 45 day guarantee period to steal the balances! In my opinion it is Cardcash.com that is retaining the card info and stealing the balances. Cardcash.com has numerous complaints on numerous consumer alert websites.
This site advertises its 45 days guarantee. BUT In fact, the card will expire in 45 days!
If you're not using it in 45 days, card value comes to zero, and this site will not refund anything! Be careful to buy from this site! There are so many better site than this
Do not buy from here unless you absolutely are going to use the gift cards immediately. This site is rife with gift cards from scammers who sell the gift cards to Card Cash but then keep a copy of the gift card and drain them. They don't have as great a guarantee policy as Gift Card Zen where there is no limits on the claim period. Only buy here if desperate and the price is great.
Bout 19 $50 Hyatt gift cards. 6 cards had money on the cards the other 13 had a 0 balance. Very disappointed and embarrassed at my hotel check out.
I recently saw that this "company" has an "F" with the Better Business Bureau! Their accreditation has been REVOKED! Several have complained that they received gift cards which were used later, so apparently, the previous owners wrote down the card numbers, and used them later on.
Here's my issue! I bought a Lowes digital gift card in November 2015. It clearly says "Lowes GIFT CARD!" It has a bar code and all. I couldn't use it online nor in-store! Lowes scanned the barcode and confirmed that it had a $231 balance, but said I couldn't use it! They said it was actually a "merchandise credit", not a gift card as it says! They said I'd have to get a refund from the 3rd party seller. I called cardcash. Wow! I got different stories. One girl said that the actual physical cards are kept in the main office, and they would look for the one to my digital card. Over a week later, I received an email saying NOTHING about that! It kept repeating the 45 day guarantee, sayithey weren't responsible!
So, I filed a complaint with bbbdotorg. My response was that cardcash was not a 3rd party seller, that they were like eBay, and only offer a place for sellers to list cards. REALLY? That's odd, because every time I have bought cards, it DID NOT have some private individual's name on the package, nor did I send payment to a private individual! How about you guys? I sent payment to CARDCASH and received a package or email with digital cards from CARDCASH.
Furthermore, Lowes DOES NOT issue digital merchandise credit with a barcode! So, explain how I was sent one? The original owner didn't have that. He/she had a PHYSICAL "merchandise credit" card.
The company refuses to refund my money! I am furious, but some have lost THOUSANDS from this joke of a company!

I have been using CardCash for a few years without issues till this year with them getting all the attention in magazines, etc. Since March I have ordered cards as usual and I check the balances immediately but within weeks after that, the cards have ZERO balances and if you don't use immediately (within your 45 days) then you are out cash paid.
Customer Service is unable to help If the seller kept the card info and continues to use it online after sold to CardCash. Now I'm out over $300 because I waited 45 days to use the cards! Beware of most retail cards sold that you can use online, seller can still use online and card has NO value but they got paid & used the balance on cards.
CardCash should NOT continue to buy from any sellers that had a buyer complaint with cards used AFTER the purchase.
I trust this website and have been working with the staff for a long time. The service is very good. Particularly I should mention the name of the person who is wonderful - Ben Weitman.
However I have experienced many times that the cards I received but not valid. This is terrible. Sometimes I just got the cards and was charged $2000 to my credit card, but I can't use it. Therefore I have to buy other cards while I have to pay the credit card bill if it comes to me a few days later. I had to submit the request for refunds and the refund process takes at least 5 business days. This becomes a big issue. If the security is enhanced in getting the cards from the card sellers and the risk of getting the bad cards is minimized, CardCash is the best.
My last 2 digital gift cards, one to TGIFridays and one to Panera, are still being used probably by the original owner. My balances are going down and I have lost money. Sent in a request to fix the problem. Disappointed it takes 5-7 business days to fix... my balances will be zero by then! Sad that there are people cheating this company, it's a great idea, just needs better security.
I purchased a Sports Authority gift card used a portion of it with in 45 days back in November, tried to use the remaining $72 that was confirmed by CashCard on the day Sports Authority said it had zero bal. No where does it say the entire card has to be used within 45 days I assumed since it worked within that time period there was no rush to use the entire card. I have bought thousands of dollars in gift cards from CashCard but will never again as I told the supervsior from Cash Card.
Have enjoyed using CardCash many times. Had one experience where the card didn't work and it took 3 weeks to get my money back, but the rest of the transactions have always gone well.
Ordered a Chick-Fil-A gift card. Waited and waited for it to arrive. Finally after a month, I asked and received a refund. Not sure what happened.
I love adding additional savings at the stores I already shop at.

When I first started using this I was obsessed praising it telling every single person about it and last three times that I've gone to use large dollar amount gift cards $200 plus there was no money on the card cause me to buy a second time and then the second purchase also did not have money on the gift card I will no longer use this source
Got some refunds, a little confused on multiple claims and responses all at the same time so I called back and it was explained. Happy now

We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.

Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
