I haven't used the car cover yet but I have studied the notes regarding the bungi cords and the cable. I understand all of it now and presume the extra nylon cord is a potential replacement for the drawstring in the carrying bag.
I will be using the cover starting tomorrow evening. It will be on my car sitting outside in Denver for four weeks. I will return on June 4th and can give you a better report if you wish, after I return.
