The 3 Gold Shield covers they sent me all deteriorated under the cover(felt side). They represented and advertised themselves as having a lifetime warranty. Do not believe it. The cover is Chinese made and does not hold up. They will not send me any more inferior covers because the lifetime warranty is not real.

Gold Shield 5L - Car Cover for Toyota Prius 2015 Hatchback 4-Door

The car cover was not waterproof nor water resistant and failed immediately to repel moisture from coastal marine layer fog, rainwater, or water from parkway sprinklers.

Moisture found its way through the breathable surface of the cover and saturated the fleece lining underneath, which resulted in a sopping mess of a cover. Photos provide views of the outside surface and underside surface of cover, which are soaked with moisture.

I made a warranty claim and received a second cover with the same purported technology. This cover also failed regarding waterproof or water resistant technology.

I chose not to make a second warranty claim for a third cover.

Two poor quality products and each at a premium price. Company wouldn't refund the shipping cost for the warranty replacement cover.

Bought mine for my 1986 chev short box in the spring of 2021. Has been outside since. This winter has been really bad for weather. Snow, wind, melting, freezing rain, melting, more freezing rain, more melting, more snow. And a lot of wind. All winter. I am going to get some tie-downs for the future. I love the product. Ordered a cover, received it, upon opening the box discovered it was just stuffed into the box (At least fold it). Laid it out on top of the intended vehicle and discovered it has a tear in it (now I know why it was stuffed). Out of curiosity I did a Wet Test on the porosity of the materiel and only after 18 min with a Wet Sponge (maintained it damp) it began to seep through the materiel which would have arrived on the surface of my vehicle. Contacted the only way to reach them via email at RMA.CARCOVER.COM, offered to exchange it and I responded and told them that I wanted a full refund, Nope, only two options, refund 40% of the cost or send it back at my expense and they would review the request and only after approval would they provide a refund (you ate the shipping costs). DO NOT confuse this group with CARCOVERs.COM! I used the carcovers.com site, spoke with an agent who worked with me over the phone, was courteous and provided me with options to ensure the fit was correct BEFORE i spent a dime. We discussed return policy and was NO RISK to the consumer.

Cover did NOT FIT, and only provided 2 options for return. 1 refund me 40% of my costs keep the useless cover OR (and only after approval by RMA) I return the cover at my own expense and wait 8 to 10 business day to see if my return is approved.
Materiel is extremely paperlike and flimsy, after I placed a wet sponge on it for about 18 minutes, water began to seep through (yes I kept the sponge damp). Your product is terriable especially for $200, it was a complete waste of my money for a cover that I can only use to cover my trash cans outside (I don't care if they get wet). And only way to return it was qualified with IF IT IS APPROVED after I pay to return it. It is your product that is not meeting customer expectations but the customer ends up eating the costs... I see why you have a BBB Rating of 1 Star.

I purchased a 22' RV cover that disintegrated in less than 6 months and was asked to pay nearly $100 to have a replacement shipped. The second one lasted only 8 months.

Straight scam my wife bought a car cover from this website because it was guaranteed to fit or your money back and also said that there's no hidden fees, but when we got the car cover it was too small and when we tried to return it they are making us pay out-of-pocket which is 75 bucks just to send it back so buyer beware big time scam!

We ordered the Gold Shield 5L truck cover designed to fit our model. It states it has "an inner layer of soft fleece lining", if that is true, they will need to show me, because the only fleece lining was in the storage bag. This cover ripped along the cab seam and the rear corner seam immediately. We were able to have it replaced after showing proof, but WE had to pay $30 to them to ship it.
We received the replacement cover, again no fleece lining, same as the first cover. We requested a refund, they said send it back for a full refund or keep it and get only 40% refund. We chose to return, again a $30 fee to ship, for the full refund.
We received a $30 refund because we did not pay for the REPLACEMENT cover, it was "free" (just $30 shipping). We paid for the first one (189.99 + $30 to ship replacement) and the original cover was out of it's 30 day window to return.
They do a great shell game - buyer beware!

I order this cover Jan. 16th. It is now Jan 30th. Still no cover. I called because their web-site email indicated it was delivered, felt like a scam. I called and they said it didn't ever go out. They would rush it to me. However, it shows it still didn't ship. I've messaged them but no reply. I am tempted to file a BBB claim but will allow them to make it right. But I'm not overly comfy due to poor performance so far. Next action is to have them return my money. Stay tuned because it just might be a scam company!

In looking for a quality car cover I found a site that was highly rated. When I clicked on it, I somehow got to CarCover.com and without realizing it was a different site, ordered two car covers. Right after I submitted the order, I realized what happened and immediately contacted them to cancel the order - via email. They responded via email immediately that the order was canceled and a full refund would be issued in 5-10 days. I notified my bank. Imagine my surprise when the car covers were delivered six days later! When I contacted CarCover their response was "we didn't cancel it and even though you don't want them now, who knows what the future holds? We'll give you a 20% discount to keep them". What?! After refusing their offer, they've continued to increase the discount and then stated if I didn't want the car covers I would have to pay for them to be shipped back. I refused and requested they send a shipping label so their canceled order that they opted to ship anyway can be returned to them. The reviews on their poor customer support and suspicious activities are warrented. I would have to assume all positive reviews are ones they themselves have posted.
This company clearly has unethical business practices in place and the Attorney General's office has been notified.

Do not buy the rv cover. It tore after just 6 weeks. Guarantee said lifetime but that is misleading. The company reviewed our claim, deciding it qualified for the guarantee but they would require $100 to send us a replacement. The cover wont last one season. Absolute junk. This was our 2nd cover. The first one we bought had lasted 3 years. The carcover rv cover didnt even last 2 months. Shame on carcover.com for selling junk for inflated prices.

My rv cover that I received from carcover.com was damaged upon its arrival I contacted the company for there warranty that states if you receive a damaged product they go the extra cost to get you a new one. I emailed an emailed only thing I got was well give you 40% refund if you keep it. So after dealing with them for months to resolve it I pretty much told to kick sand an F off so beware with this sorry excuse of a company

The camper cover I bought *immediately* began to shred, despite its "lifetime guarantee". I sent photos of the damage and they agreed to send a 2nd one--but charged me $95 shipping. Three months later, the old cover is in absolute shreds! Sent complaint and pix again with request for refund, but they refused as it was past 30 days. DO NOT BUY THEIR COVERS! Nonwoven material immediately develops tears and your warranty is crap. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling such junk with a phony guarantee!

Ordered one for my car and it fits great. Well made and covers my entire car as I was hoping... Bought one from another company and it fits like crap this one is spot on. Love it and will buy it again from here

Bought cover lasted three days. Cover tore in moderate wind 20 mph. Have credit card receipt, customer service will not remedy without order number. Inexplicably, I cannot find the email to verify order number although I have credit receipt, delivery address, and purchaser name. Stay away from these people, they are dishonest! Besides the cover was poorly made imported from China. You would be farther ahead shopping somewhere else or even a high quality cover from a hardware store would work much better.

I purchased a 10' x12' cover for my camper (truck camper). The cover that I received was about a 15 x 30 cover that would fit a huge RV. I asked for a refund, as this cover is absolutely no use to me and they only offered me a 20% discount to keep something that I would never buy. I paid nearly $300.00 for this cover. For that amount of money, I expect the cover to fit and I would also expect a reputable company to readily offer a refund... but this company will not do that.
