Warranty does not include shipping

Several photos were sent to carcover.com. They agreed a replacement was appropriate. They unfortunately referenced another website that determines shipping prices. carcover.com assigned the responsibility of the shipping cost to their provider (I suppose). $150 was paid under the assumption that a new cover would be mailed (no charge) when needed. carcover.com does NOT operate this way, but other companies do. Don't choose carcover.com.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! The covers are cheap and overpriced. I spent $100 on a cover that didn't last a month. The straps ripped off on the wind and became unusable. The material itself is worth $10 at most. I spoke to customer service and they said they'd send me a new one if I pay $30 for shipping. I promise you the cover isn't even worth that much. A complete scam. The cover I bought from Walmart is thicker and stronger for $50 bucks. A waste of money and their customer service response was short and dismissive-

We ordered a 10 ft to 12 ft truck camper cover and they sent us one that was 20ft long. The would not pay the return shipping. We had to pay $100 to return the wrong camper cover! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

OK product; CS is useless!

I contacted the company to ask about the fit of a cover for my BMW Z4. The cover does not fit very well with the mirrors extended. It fits fairly well with the mirrors retracted, but this is where the issue occurs. When approaching the vehicle the mirrors (as per my personal settings) extend. The fit is so tight that it stresses the mirror motors. Sensing resistance they will not extend properly.I see this as being a problem for an expensive car down the road (no pun intended). I do not wish to change my settings to accommodate the cover. Contacting CS was a complete joke. They do not have any one there that has knowledge of their products, and it finally took speaking to a 'manager' - Artie (which was major task for front line personnel) to find that it was only designed to fit with the mirrors retracted. Prior to that conversation CS (Jessie) asked for photos which I sent along with a detailed description of the issue. Lynn, through email response, simply said they would send out a new cover - but did not answer my question about how it was originally designed.
My guess is she never read through the email.
The answer I got from Tim after explaining myself in detail was; "well the car has to be off and not running, and the mirrors retracted". No one knows the design component of their products. No one bothers to understand the customer, and when you try to emphasize the points they become insulted and think you are correcting them and being rude. Well rude is not trying to understand a customer and help get to the bottom of a problem.
My Tacoma fits completely different and is a good cover overall. This cover for a much more expensive vehicle is a poor fit at best.
So the products are OK; the Customer Service personnel are useless and not helpful in the least.
I probably will not purchase another cover from them should the need arise.

Didn't fit didn't guarantee

Upon test fit of the cover I had to choose which side the rear would cover because the cover did not take into account the stock spoiler. I notified carcovers.com and they said the fit was good enough. They also offered to return a partial amount.

Apparently not fitting constitutes fitting for them they also lied to me as I never received the partial refund.

I just wanted a cover that fit.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

I was not given a "custom" cover as advertised.

CarCover.com lead me to believe that the car cover I purchased was specifically made for the 2022 Lexus NX 350. It was not. I purchased it in May for potential bad weather in Florida because I was renting a condo without a garage and my car would be outside in the elements. Hurricane Ian hit and, in advance, I placed the cover on my car as directed. It performed like a parachute, blowing up in the air and twisting around, because it was not a fitted car cover as advertised. It was not fitted to my car like other seasonal homeowner cars on the parking lot which remained tight to the bodies of their cars. The metal chain, which was supposed to remain under the car attaching the two sides, was thrown around and hit upon my passenger door leaving scratches. The lock on the cover rusted. I asked for a refund but was told it was past the 30 day return window. My point was that it was not a fitted car cover, custom to my car, as advertised and therefore I should not have to pay for something it was not. The product was also flawed in that the lock rusted and was no longer usable PLUS the cable scratched my car because the cover was not fitted.

I would not trust this company and would purchase through the other company that is a plural, CarCoverS.com. The two are apparently often confused. I would not purchase from this company. This is my opinion.

What a rip off..

We bought a trailer cover, around $400. It did not even last a year; totally shredded. Warranty life-time. Found out you need to pay shipping of $95 each time. So every year after it falls apart you will need to pay another $95 to get another one. Also when you call them for the return, you only get an email address. You can't speak to a person. What a racket. Don't do it.

Buyer beware! False advertisement for RV cover.

Bought a RV cover and purchased the gold as it came with advertised lifetime warranty. Cover came apart and had to submit a claim. Customer is responsible for the shipping of replacement cover. 90$ later got my new cover. Cover came apart again. Submitted a new claim and was told the lifetime warranty only offers 1 replacement. Sure enough all this is in their fine print. Poorly made cover and bad customer service. Now I'm out 400$ and no cover. Seems like the extra $$ packages are just to siphon more money from the customer. Bad business stay away.

It fits, but the 5 layers advertised isn't true

Got this for my Ford Raptor, doesn't fit quite as good as the picture when you order it, but it does cover the truck and is better than nothing. It is 2 layers at best, so the 5 layers is NOT true for the Gold cover and is deceptive advertising. I'm in Northen AZ which gets some rain and snow, but looking for sun protection more than anything else. Time will tell how long it holds up. Cable lock barely long enough although the front and rear straps are long enough. Not worth the price IMO. This is maybe a $50 cover tops. Also, the directions say to look for the "front" tag on it to put the cover on, but there is no such tag.

Was told it was coming from NY. Got a UPS tracking # from CA. Tracking # is a dead #. Called company talked with Mike again (only person that answers the phone) dog barking in back ground. He just said wait and see. No customer service or I should say bad customer service. The company you want is CarCovers.com not Carcover.com. Carcovers.com is the one that has customer service and real GOOGLE reviews. Stay away from Mike and Carcover.com

Not waterproof and warranty is limited

Bought the gold level "waterproof" cover (with the lifetime warranty) a bit over a year ago. The cover started leaking after seven months. I called for a replacement under warranty and was told it would be $30 for shipping. I also found out that they limit warranty claims the three per person (why do you need to do that if you believe your product is any good?). These little details were not shown on the warranty summary page, but are apparently indicated about 2/3 of the way down a substantial list of terms and conditions. After a year, the original cover seems about as waterproof as a cotton t-shirt. As I don't have a garage space, I had to cave and pay the $30 for a replacement to use until I sell my car. Look elsewhere for real protection from the rain. I fail to see how they have positive reviews.The photos are from the seven month leak timeframe.

Not Happy / Delivery Days Are Too Long!

I'm contacted you regarding delivery of my order. Apparently UPS will not be delivering my order today as promised on the website 2 days ago and now has been changed to a delivery date of this coming Friday.
After speaking to a UPS supervisor this morning the trailer that my package is in sent from you may still be in Texas which in reality real time after all said and done we will be looking at a delivery date either Saturday or Monday. "NOT REALLY ON FRIDAY"
Totally disappointed, I look forward to a Manager or Supervisor that will contact me about this problem.
Let's see how this is handled, I will update

I bought the best cover for my car.
They said in the add that it was going to be a custom fit.
When I got it, it was way to big.
When I complained they said if I pay more I could get a custom fit cover.
The end up sending me two bungee cords to tighten my cover

Stay away

I purchased a cover for my classic. 2 months later noticed flaking, I thought it must be a normal process. Another month goes by and i start noticing extreme flaking and material thinning. I Submit warranty, they confirm its a defective item. Yet I need to pay 30 for shipping. I contact them 3 different reps refer me to Issac warranty manager. I leave message(his vm states would get back to cust within the hr, that's a lie. Finally got a hold of him today, his cust. Skills are as good as the the cover they sent me. Beware ppl. This company has no integrity

Customer service is horrible! I purchased a cover for my slide in truck camper. I was told the size is based on wheelbase and that an 8'-10' cover is for an 18' wheelbase. My truck camper is 216" long. 216" divide by 12" = 18'. So why is it too short? I don't know, the response I recieved was basically to bad and for another $150 we'll send you the correct size. What a joke! I'll throw the CarCover.com in the trash and buy the correct one from a good company.

Ordered a cover for a 2020 Lincoln nautilus suv the product I received was a joke it fit like a tent hung all the way down to the ground! So much for precise fit returning, save your money do not buy from these liars

Purchased a cover from these guys didn't realize I was talking to the US company and not the Canadian company I asked to cancel the order they agreed and canceled the order and sent me an email saying that they had refunded my money they had not so I followed up with PayPal and they advised that I launcher dispute I then received a call from carcovers.com very upset that I filed a dispute and they said they would not refund my money unless I dropped the dispute PayPal tells me if I dropped the dispute I have no recourse to get my money back so I did not and this is where we're at right now

Purchased a Gold Shield 5L RV cover in 2021. Three rips developed after two months on the RV. After six months the rips lengthened, fabric became delaminated and the hem fabric on the bottom ripped out leaving no way to secure the bottom of the cover with the tie-downs.

This is the worst RV cover I have ever had. Warranty offer included replacement but I had to provide $95 shipping. I am not in the mood to pour any more money into this totally inferior product. Save your money and wrap your RV in toilet paper.

It will be interesting to see if this review appears on the company website.

Rv cover does not last

I purchased the rv cover to cover my camper for just the winter. The first year the cover already had holes in it customer service said to just patch the holes. Now on the second year the cover has several large holes in it. I contacted customer support and they are finally willing to replace the cover. Only problem is they want 95$ For shipping. Why would I pay that for a product that does not last even a season with out issues. I just feel like I'm being scammed by this company. Be sure to check bbb reviews before ordering is all I can say
