What the $#*!? They eternally closed my account and the customer service rep was rude $#*! this county and being alive to have a dumb $#*!ing score just to exist in this $#*!ing world I didn't ask to be born and this $#*!ing card just made it worse

I had Capital One Mastercard for few years. Always making a full payment ($4000-$5000) and when I requested a credit limit increase, I was denied 3 times for no specific reason.

My credit card was due on the 22nd. On the 20th around midnight I submitted the payment of $119.00. Monday, the 22nd the payment posted to my bank account. Unfortunately my wife suffers scoliosis with a 68 degree curve in the backbone and is unable to take a job. She and I raised her blood grandchidren fo 10 years. I'm Pa by love and GOD. Today another payment of $119.00 went through my bank leaving $1.87 until I get paid. I spoke to the top of customer service. I didn't submit 2 separate payments. It was an error due to time submitted at midnight.The heartless empty vessel company would not return the second payment until waiting 7 business days and then 7 to 10 business days after explaining money needed to go to a specialist visit 100 miles away with $1.87 to spend. I could chrge to that credit card but only until that company reaps what they do to real, honest, good people no way. When Kate and the company she represented has to request something some entity or person gives them the answer I got would the reality face them. May God forgive them. I'm going to try but when I make my final payment to them may the $$$$$$$ credit card company go broke! Use any company even if the apr is higher, you will be glad you made the best decision for you. Unfortunately, heartless,empty vessel of a conscience, wolves, beware!

Our company opened up a Capital One Spark account for business. We had an account previously for our business that had a set credit limit and worked fairly well. We had to set up this new account under one of our owner's name. Unfortunately that left me, the person administering the account, unable to perform a lot of functions without having to track down the owner who was out of the office a lot. That turned out to be a minor inconvenience though compared to what else we went through. The first day, THE VERY FIRST DAY, our account was shut off because we exceeded our credit limit. With the Spark Business card it's an evolving line of credit that you earn as you spend. We already had established $100K credit with our old account at Capital One, but apparently with this new account we were lucky to get $1K. I understand how the credit works, but if we were just switching to a different type of program in Capital One, why didn't our established credit come with us? To top it off, a glitch wouldn't allow even the Capital One customer service rep to fix. That left 25+ employees without use of their card out in the field in the middle of a job.

We were lied to when we set up this account, just to get the business and then after that, our account rep washed her hands of us. She and her boss promised to help us get an established amount of credit, but never followed through. At one point they asked why we didn't use our cards from our old account... Because you sold us this business program and our employees don't have their original cards...

If you are thinking of applying for a business account DON'T. Find another bank that won't lie to you just to get the sale and then abandon you when you are stranded without credit.

I was trying to open a checking account to help allow myself to get a proper job. On the website itself I was told that there were errors and they needed more information, so it gave me the number for the call center. I called, and was assigned to a very polite and professional lady who helped me apply to open an account, but she too ran into an error and sent me to talk to a specialist. The specialist was slightly less helpful and was difficult to understand, but applied to open an account with me, only to be met with the same error stating that my account was unable to be located and could not be opened at this time. I was transferred to yet another specialist who informed me, somewhat rudely, that I would have to wait for an email to know why I was rejected. Overall, the two women were very polite and professional at the start of the 35 minute call, but by the end I was dissatisfied and somewhat annoyed by their lack of ability to understand the issue.

RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE! IF YOURE TRYING TO REBULD YOUR CREDIT YOUR BETTER OFF GETTING A SECURED CREDIT CARD FROM AMEX OR ANYONE ELSE BESIDES THESE PPL! THE ONLY REASON MY ACCOUNT IS STILL OPEN@ THE MOMENT IS CAUSE ITS ONE OF MY OLDEST ACCOUNTS BUT I HAVE AWESOME CREDIT WITH OVER A 250K CREDIT LINE SO ATP IDC ABOUT CANCELING THIS BS ACCOUNT WITH THEM! THESE PPL HAVE ALLOWED SAKS TO PUT SOMETHING ON MY ACCOUNT FROM 5 MONTHS AGO BUT THE CONSUMER ONLY HAS 60 DAYS TO DISPUTE A TRANSACTION! SO HOW IS THIS RIGHT OR LEGAL? ESPECIALLY WHEN SAKS IS TRYING TO SAY IT OCCURRED A FEW WEEKS AGO & I HAVE NOT USED THE CARD IN 4 MONTHS! NOT TO MENTION SAKS LIED MULTIPLE TIMES SAYING THEY DONT ISSUE REFUNDS BUT THEY DO & DID WHEN I RETURNED THE MERCHANDISE! I CAN GO ON FOR DAYS ABOUT THIS PATHETIC RIDICULOUS SCAMMING SHIESTY COMPANY! THEY KEEP BOUNCING ME BACK TO SAKS & SAKS KEEP BOUNCING ME BACK TO THEM CAUSE NEITHER WANTS TO DO THEIR JOB NOR TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THE BS THEY ARE CONSTANTLY DOING! THEN WONT EVEN ALLOW ME TO DISPUTE IT CAUSE THEY KNOW I HAVENT PURCHASED ANYTHING FROM THEM! SAD HOW THESE COMPANIES HAVE RESORTED TO FRAUD & SCAMMING LOYAL CUSTOMERS! IVE NEVER EVER MISSED A PAYMENT, HAD A LATE FEE OR ANYTHING WITH THEM IN THE 15 YEARS IVE BEEN WITH THEM! They used to be 10 star service! I let everyone know that I loved them. Now however they are garbage! I was with them for many years they were on point ie awesome. Last year they died in my eyes. I paid all my cards off and they decided to put me on the scammer list. Right before Christmas. Yes I got a loan and paid everything off. Then they locked down my cards. I paid everything off then tried to buy a couple Christmas gifts for my kids. They labeled me a scammer then after the new year over 45 days later After I provided proof that I was who I was they still didn't believe the evidence I dropped them and went to discover.havent been happier.

I have been a loyal customer of theirs for YEARS. Had 3 credit cards with them in good standing for YEARS. Three bank accounts. Which I'm now moving. I didn't realize I was late on a payment ONCE. They did not notify me despite having my phone, email, and app messaging. I logged on to pay only to find out they've cancelled ALL THREE OF MY CREDIT CARDS, and stolen all the rewards I earned, because I missed ONE PAYMENT A FEW DAYS PRIOR. Run far away from these criminals. I used to refer people to them/ now I say run.

Not really sure why if you hate your job so much you stay? All I asked was a question and you accused me of lying then told me to refrain from my language for saying darn? Like actually saying the word darn. Transferred me over to the manager and she acted like a fool too. Seriously where is the helpfulness and love? I was being extremely nice to this employee. All I wanted to know was where my card was… I said "well darn" when you told me it was stuck in transit. I am a 62 year old woman and you treated me like dirt. When I receive this card I'll be canceling this card and deactivating this account. I'm extremely hurt.

Fraudulent schemes and deceptive actions.
Be cautious of misleading advertisements offering $200 bonuses as they are deceptive and intended to scam individuals. It is crucial to avoid falling into their trap and being deceived by false promises. Additionally, the customer service provided by these individuals is of poor quality.

I wish to give them negative star. I had a credit card with them since 2008 in good standing. They restricted the account saying they wanted a few information. Apparently, they sent only one letter. Just one letter. Since they did not receive any response, they restricted and then, closed the credit card account. They kept on passing me from a rep to a supervisor to tell me the same thing over and over again. In which world you contact the customer of more than 15 years, once. As an added bonus, they denied me my 416,000 reward points. That is more than $4000.00.
Unfortunately, I will never recommend Capital 1 to any of my family, friends and colleagues. I know my review may not stop people from working with them but atleast keeps you aware of their one sided policies and the extend they go to make sure you are not getting what is rightfully yours. All in all, I am negatively affected due to their errors.
Do not accumulate your rewards with them for the hope of using it lumpsum. They will make sure not to give it to you by any means possible

So it seems that the ATMs for Capital One are not a priority for their customers. Unfortunately, when you use the "Mobile App" which states the deposit is as fast or faster is a complete Lie! Usually when you use the ATM, capital one will give you a call partial release of funds. Since the ATM was out of service I was forced to use the Mobile App. Everytime I have called this weekend to follow up on the release of the funds, I've been given one lie after another... From " call back after 2 pm" to...*I'm sorry but it's the weekend and I cant help you". And this is when you can actually understand the person on the other line. I spoke to 3 people that DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!

So I will be closing my acct tomorrow!

HEY CAPTAL ONE... YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

556 BAD REVIEWS has to tell you something. I think the positive ones are paid employees to make them look like they're worth a $#*!. I can NOT recommend this company enough. I lost my job and they wouldn't work with me, I ended up getting a subpoena because it took me so long to find a new one. Customer service was rude and hung up on me when I tried to work with them, telling me my account was closed. DISCOVER is a MUCH better credit card, that worked WITH me instead of AGAINST me when I was between jobs. I guess the FAT CATS up in the C-suite just have to line their pockets to take extravagant vacations and live a lavish lifestyle. I hope you go bankrupt.

I'm having bad experience with customer service right now. These watermelon head moose looking bastards representatives. Everytime I call customer service this stupid recording plays and gives me a hard time. Then when I spoke to more than one representative about my account and how to remove an external bank account they constantly hang up in my face. This company definitely is a rip off, they will mess up your credit score if you allow it, they really need to be sued and all of the representatives need to be fired and new representatives need to be hired. Because these guys are setting a real bad name for their company, a bad reputation and a huge lawsuit need to be filed against these fools ASAP. To make them pay back all of their customers 1 million dollars each for ripping people off, keeping their customers personal checkings account information even if the customers no longer have access to their old bank account information, these people are making this company look exactly like trash because all of their funky foney stanking representatives are trash and their attitudes are really disgusting, poor customer service needs to be fixed. They even let people get away with Identity theft and all of the representatives needs to be thrown in jail and their stanking bosses too. I DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND NOBODY GO THROUGH THIS HORRIBLE BAD COMPANY FOR NOTHING. DAVE YOURSELVES THE HEARTACHE. KEEP YOUR MONEY AND IDENTITY TO YOURSELVES AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE TOXIC COMPANY FULL OF COWS, GOATS, HORSEMAN REPRESENTATIVES..

Constantly having issues with them flagging me for fraud? I use my card and pay it off, I have had to verify my bank account is mine 4 times now. This time I called and the system was down so they couldn't even help me I have to try to find time to call again - just spent my lunch break failing today. There are people who I'm sure owe them money but they're coming for the ones paying what's due? Seems backwards to me. Sick of spending my time proving I am who I am and getting my bank involved in a 3 way call like I'm a child on an allowance. Rerouting my subscriptions then cancelling both my cards. Never had an issue with my secured but I barely use it due to no benefits so they'll be losing both my cards due to the inconvenience I've been through

I lost my mother less than two months ago, and now have this to deal with this. They finally approved all of the docs, but did not give me any notice as to how/when they would be sending the check after the closure of the accounts. They sent the check via Fed Ex with a required signature without notification or a tracking number, unfortunately I was out of town and missed the deliveries. Now it seems that Fed Ex lost the package and I am required to wait 90 days before they will submit another check. What makes it worse is that you cannot speak to ANYONE in the Estate Department, everything is done by email. Unbelievable! Not only did I lose my only family member, but I am without needed funds. I will be closing my own account with Cap one in the near future.

Initially yhey they said I can just switch which card online, but today when I called they said no I have to call. I said well if I need to charge something to one card and then something to a different card while I'm in line at the store, I can't get on the phone and call while people are waiting behind me. He said well you just make a bank transfer and I'm like I can't do that because that'll cause issues for my accountant. For a bank company, they don't seem to understand accounting principles. So if you have two accounts where you need to separate debit cards, Capital One is not the bank for you.

They sent me a letter telling me I needed to use my card or the account will be close. So knowing that this would affect my credit I reach out to make a purchase with it and notice my card is expired. I call Capital One, order a new card and by the time I get the new card they have already close my account. Called them and they told me they gave me enough time to use it, hahaha, how ridiculous! I couldn't use it because my card was expired and it took Cap One 3 weeks to send me the new card. Anyways, Capital One is the highest interests cc Bank, with the highest fees and the worst customer service. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH CAPITAL ONE, THEY WILL EAT YOU ALIVE BEFORE THEY RUIN YOUR CREDIT! WORST COMPANY EVER!

My debit card was canceled due to a fraudulent charge on April 24th. The employee I spoke to that day did not double check my address nor did she expedite my card for 1 to 3 day delivery.Over 2 weeks later I am still waiting come to find out that they sent it to just a zip code no address.I cannot buy food take my animals to the vet get gas or do anything because the account is locked. Totally unacceptable for someone in charge of someone's financials to be that bad at their job
