When you have a problem, the automated system doesnt even work so you never actually get to speak to a representative. Your customer service is the $#*!ing worst. I'm going to cancel everything and go to bank of America. DO NOT use this company. The service is terrible!
I deposited capital one bank ck for over ******* in my capital one checking acct.The ck was a refund from a savings acct i closed a week prior.I was emailed later that day june 3 2023 that funds would be available tomorrow june4.Then at 4am on the morning of june 5 i was sent an email from capital one that for my safety they would not make the funds available for 10 days for my protection.These are liars and scammers of the worst possible sort. In fact they were placing a ten day hold on their certified check to try to gain the interest. Stayaway from these mutts at all costs. Also the vast majority of workers at the delray beach branch including the manager are very rude and unprofessional.
Every single month I'm having issues with my Walmart capital one card I make payment that post but never show in my available credit. I have to argue with them every month on why my available credit isn't showing so I can't use my card when it does this and they always tell me they don't know why it's doing this and to just wait.
This is by far the worst credit card I've ever experienced, I tried setting up auto pay with a costumer service personal only to find out 45days later that my account was past due, I had been charged double late fees, mind you this was the second time same thing happen so no matter how much I pay,my balance isn't going down, it is a complete rip off and this card isn't designed to help you build your credit but to tear it down, a real joke, lack of compassion is pitiful.
Customer service is terrible, payments are unclear and they dont care about their customers at all. Do not give them your business.
Be careful for this credit card.They restricted my account without any reason.they charged me late payment fees even after I made payment on time.worst experience ever
Paid a 2000 bill in full to be charges 35.06 interest on a 0 balance? When I call got someone who couldnt hardly speak English and supervisor seemed to not be bothered with the charges because we never paid in full till now, sad had I known ahead in advance I would've never paid in full...won't be using your credit card again
The only good thing about capital one is the interest on360 saving. Everything else is a rip off. No carbon copies on checks, refunds on debit cards that never show up and you have to open a dispute to get your money back from them and wait 90 days! Transfer of money takes for ever. Mailing of checks and credit cards takes for ever, but not having carbon copies on checks it's the last drop! Stay away.
They continuously ask you for the same information over and over again when you file a dispute that way they can close it out without handling it. I provided them all the information in January, and they asked for it again in February. Then they said that I sent the information in 10 days late so the dispute is closed and there's nothing they can do.
My daughter is newly employed and with great credit. She applied for a card, got a $10k limit and can't activate her card. She scanned the QR code, she tried to activate online and they are telling her that her phone number is wrong. She can't log in to even file a complaint so she is stuck with a useless piece of plastic. I would say run as fast as you can if they can't figure out something as simple as activating a card (used to be you call an 800 number, type in some basic information and boom it was activated). Seems they have gone down hill very fast.
In the first days, I was offered Castco membership with a lot of advertising. I accepted and activated it Captal One Card. I went to Castco twice to buy, both times they said it was locked, and each time I called the customer service, they said it was fixed. But for the third time, the same problem happened again, when shopping in front of the cashier, the card didn't work and said it was locked. I was lucky that after all the shopping, I had cash in hand all three times and I paid in cash. When I returned, I called and said to delete my name from the system with the number of this card and send the canceled letter to my home address. And I threw the card in the shredder. Now I have a lot of advertisements from this company in my email. One star should not be given for dissatisfaction, and Google should put instead of one star.
I HAVE 2 OF THEIR CARDS 1 SINCE 2011 POOR SERVICE TO GET A CREDIT ON THE CARD THE MERCHANT POSTED A WEEK AGO CONSTANT RUN AROUND ONLINE CHAT AND OVER THE PHONE SAME LADY SAME ANSWERS THEY NEED TO TRAIN EMPLOYEES TO FIND OUT WHY A CREDIT POSTED A WEEK AGO HAS NOT STILL SHOWN UP ON THEIR CARD WHEN I SAID I WOULD CANCEL BOTH CARDS VOILA WAS FIXED GO FIGURE ~!
I paid off my account and was subsequently charged $50 interest on a ZERO BALANCE. When I called, I was told that if my total balance isn't paid for 2 months in a row, they will continue to charge me interest on the amount that I paid off. So basically, I was paying interest on money that I HAD NOT BORROWED! TODAY, I called with a simple question. The first thing the rep said was I was being recorded. In the middle of the call, he told me inaccurate information. So I said I was going to record him and I wanted him to repeat what I was just told. He then said his supervisor told him that he could not repeat what he said before because they can't be recorded. That was so stupid. I could have been recording him the entire time. He told me that a payment that I had made nearly a month ago was still pending. That C1 had a NEW POLICY of holding payments. What a crock. I am closing this account immediately.
Horrible service don't trust this company with your money. They value thievery and injustice over their customers. Bumrush rapist $#*!.
I just wasted 40 minutes of my time repeating the same simple question. How much of my last payment went towards interest, how much went towards the principle and how much went to taxes and fees? I got a run-a-round answer about their interest rates being based on the "Prime Rate." They couldn't tell me, even though that payment was last month! Even so, if they are basing their rates on the Federal Prime Rate, wouldn't this apply to all accounts? My other account with them is NOT above 27%! When I ask why my interest rate is above 27%, I get the run around answer again! If you are a wise person, DO NOT get involved with this "company."
This bank is all about themselves they don't work with you to help accommodate you they work against you instead. I have been with them for 8 years and have had many different banks as well and this is the only bank that would never release my funds to me even a portion earlier. I have had consistent direct deposits from the same company I have worked for for the last 6 years coming into my account and when I asked them to release a portion of my check to me when I had a paper check written for me they denied this request when it stated on the website they have the ability to do this. They have no concern with the fact that I have no money for Memorial Day weekend and no empathy to my struggle. Worst Bank in America for sure
THESE IDIOTS ACCIDENTALLY BLOCKED MY CARD AND WOULDN'T FIX IT I HATE WHEN THOSE FOREIGNERS WORK IN AMERICA THEY ARE SO DAMN DUMP NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR ERROR. EVERYTHING IS ON THIS CARD AND I'VE ONLY HAD IT FOR 6 DAYS ITS A NEW CARD NO FRAUD EVER HAPPENDED. I HATE THEM.
My balance was paid off in full and I had a credit on my account I had the choice of receiving a paper check in the mail but I chose to keep the credit on my account Just to told I was charged a interest rate a week later after THE BALANCE WAS PAID IN FULL on the DUE DATE and refused to REFUND MY MONEY.
I hqbe to have 100 dollars to get back home to Nashville and capital one refuses to give me my money that I need to get back home and now I am possible losing my job because of this. Thanks a lot capital ome don't use them they steel your money and HD your money that you earn from you.
Answer: No really I can't I mean from the very beginning they said they mailed it and then a week later when I called and they had not mailed it yet when I checked my bank they take the money out of my bank and then tell me they're going to hold the money for 7 days to make sure the money is there I think they take the customers for granted in a big bad way

Answer: This is the same issue I'm having with Capital One. They make mistakes and then drag their feet and act like nothing is wrong.
