I want to give a shout out to Dennis H. I needed an A/C for our RV and the waiting period was 6-8 weeks. I was disappointed because I would have to have cancel a trip to MI. Dennis took it upon himself to search until he found an A/C for us. He was very professional and kept me well informed though out the process. In less than a week the A/C has been installed. Dennis, thank you for a great job. Camping World is fortunate to have dedicated personnel such as you. Thank you also to the maintenance crew for a job well done.

I purchased a used RV there and the service could not have been worse! Purchased the RV in December 2020 and I still do not have the automatic leveling system installed. They described the RV as having an automatic leveling system, salesman told me it had an automatic leveling system, it did not! Called them and they agreed they had made an error but they would install the leveling system free of charge, (after much discussion) and I have been trying to have it installed for 6 months, left the RV twice for installation and all I have received are lots of reasons why they have not yet installed. WILL NOT be taking my RV back to them.

My wife and I went in to look at some Coaches and was met by a salesman who after us telling him we wanted to view a few we were taken into his office instead of looking at rv's. When we told him we were looking to buy In 30 to 60 days he said he was going to get keys to let us look at them. He returned and said his manager said on sundays it was a law that you can't show rvs. Only on Monday thru Sat. As we were leaving we saw many people going in and out of RV's with salesmen on the lots. I will never buy from a company that picks and chooses who they Think are serious buyers. Sad thing is, I am buying a 130k to 160k RV and Camping World is not going to get a shot at the sell nor Will any of my RV friends after I tell how I was treated!

Website says available for pickup in store within 24 hours. After purchase email says problem with order, call for details. Customer service too busy to answer. Over phone store says order will not be filled because item not available at store. No one at Camping World can tell me if order will be cancelled with refund or if order will ship from warehouse to my home.
Edit:
A couple days later an email arrives from Camping World saying my payment will be refunded. In the meantime, the Camping World website still says the item is in stock at my local store and also in stock at the warehouse for delivery to my home. Still no one answers phone at Camping World customer service.

Please stay away from this place for a camper purchase. The employees lie through their teeth, treat you like you are the grandest person on earth until you need assistances. Our new JayCo only 4 months old is at Camping World again for the same repairs that did not happen the first time. These people are horrible.

When you are financing your RV, make sure you read all the fine print. Their sales process can be very confusing making it difficult to understand what you are actually paying for. FOR ONE! THE PRICE WAS RIGHT UNTIL THEY TACKED ON ALL KINDS OF CHARGES. I was charged over 1500 for getting the RV ready. When I picked it up they hadn't even emptied the sewage tank. Then they trick you into buying the other addendums. Extended warranty roadside, travel assist, etc. They tell you that you can cancel at any time, but the process is painful. I've been to my dealer twice to get these removed. I have no idea if I will get my money back but I owe it on my finance contract. In the process of removing the charges for some of these additions and they have been stonewalling me, and won't refund the full amount. I won't be doing business with them ever again.

UPDATE: IT's been well over a month now (they said 7-10 business days, and the credit has not been issued to my bank loan. SO ESSENTIALLY, I'm paying for services I can't use. They keep giving me the runaround. Guy says he will call me back, and hasn't called back once. If I finally get him on the phone. He says he'll take care of it and then NOTHING! He never calls back. I've called everyday since about April 30 and it is already June.

I bought a 2018 Forest River from Camping World and soon found out even before the ink was dry, that there were some problems. I didn't realize how serious the repairs on a NEW camper that I had just purchased were. When I towed it out of state (1100 miles) for the first time, we stopped for the night and found out there was no power (no lights) at all. After getting to the campground and setting up everything worked with power being hooked to the outlet on our site. Had to have a repairman come to the site and fix several electrical connections that were repaired improperly. Things looked good for awhile but then started noticing more problems. More electrical issues, plumbing incorrectly installed, interior problems, screen door won't latch independently of exterior door, pull down shade broke. I could go on but I won't. I may as well fix things myself, got 3 months left on warranty but don't want my camper tied up for 3 or more months and miss out on camping because of someelses ineptitude.

No order infornation
May 28, 2021

Ordered a camping chair for my son to use at summer camp. The day it was supposed to be delivered I asked about the status. That's when I was informed it was on back order. No email text or phone call told me. I placed the order 30 days prior to needing it. At this point there is no shipping info. No guarantee that it will show up when it is needed.

I called the Charleston SC service counter and talked with a gentleman by the name of David. He helped me over the phone diagnosis my water heater issue. I was on the phone with for over 45 minutes and he was so patient polite and professional. He kept using words as Sir, excuse me, pardon me and thank you. After he talked me through my issue, which I fixed with him talking me through the process, I asked if he served and he said he was retired. I thanked him. I have been dealing with Camping World for over 10 years and I have never been treated with such kindness as he gave. Thank you for having him as an advisor.

I wouldn't take a FREE camper from this company. I have never been lied to, avoided, or ignored by ANY individual or company the way I have from Camping World North Little Rock AND by their Corporate office. BEWARE don't accept their piece of paper that says "we owe you" because YOU WILL NEVER be able to get them back on the phone. If it's not in your possession or working when you leave with that camper, get used to it. I cannot stress to you my dissatisfaction - it took over TWO weeks JUST to get a set of keys to access our camper - and I had to open a case with the Corporate office. It's been 5 months since we purchased our camper and we were promised a deck - no word yet. We still haven't received our tags for goodness sakes. This company will WEAR you out with calls and answer all questions UNTIL you buy the camper, then they DO NOT CARE. I have purchased two used and one new camper from other dealerships and not had any problems or issues. I've never written a negative review for any other company. I wish I could give a NEGATIVE 5 RATING.

Poor customer service
April 18, 2021

I visited 2 camper world locations with the intent to buy a travel trailer and may have done so if not for the rude customer service at 2 of their locations in huber heights ohio and piqua ohio. I received no help and was told we do not put pricing in the campers take a picture and come back inside and we will then tell you the price? I wanted to have a sales person that could take me around and answer questions about the campers and give me pricing
I guess I should buy one and ask for the commission be returned to me since I have to be the sales person? Again this happened at 2 locations I guess when campers are selling fast with all the free money out there they just do not have to work as hard to get a sale and they will not get mine.

I had a electric travel trailer lock shipped to me and it was coming from California, mind ya, I'm in Ohio. They did not pack it worth a dam! There was nothing supporting it meaning it got tossed like a tossed salad thru shipping. Smdh. Would You guys teach your ppl to pack sensitive items securely. You shouldn't be able to hear nothing inside the box they sent it thru. Smh... I yet gotta have it installed and pray it works!

If I could give this place less than a 1 star I would. Our camper was damaged last Father's Day in a sudden storm. We took it to Alvarado back in June 2020. It needed the outside kitchen repaired, new awning, the roof replace, one door replace, and the awning around one of the slides. 4 times they have called saying it was completed and 4 times it was not. The outside kitchen has not been fixed, the white door was replaced with a beige door with black trim, said they threw our old Door away ( they did not and then tried to fix the hole it it) shoddy work, next they never even attemptEd to fix the slide out, put the skin on crooked on the roof and the antenna on backwards. Three times we were told they would fix the roof correctly. They were paid to put down brand new wood on the roof and they never replaced the old wood. They keep calling and saying it is done and they have not touched it. It has sat out in the hot sun and damaging hail for almost a year. Faded the entire outside of the camper. We have continued to make payment on it and the storage facility ( we do not want to lose our space) to the tune of over 6800 dollars. The insurance company estimated these repairs at close to 10,000. We have been lied to over and over by Leisel who works there. She hides when we show up, doesn't call back and lies about management. Introduced us to a Victor Mills and said he was the Service manager. He is not! He also has not returned one single phone call. He has not touched our camper in a month when he promised the last time he would personally see to it, that is was fixed and call us in two days. It has been almost a month.

I bought my first trailer at Camping World in Sherman. It was supp. Osed to be $17, 500.It was over $50, 000.The electric went out after around a month. They got me to trade in for a bigger one saying it would cost me the same. They got me to pay $3000 down. I couldn't make a payment because they put the wrong information on the contract. They had me sign a new contract but wouldn't give me a copy so I still couldn't make a payment. Then they repossessed it. All of my stuff was inside. They only have bad reviews online. You might find afew good.

Our camper has been at Camping World for 4 weeks. Nothing has been fixed despite the fact we had an appointment for repairs.
Communication has been poor to non existent. When management was contacted, they acted very indifferent to our problem.
If you buy from them good luck. And repairs there will be difficult to obtain. Beyond disappointed!

HORRIBLE
March 29, 2021

I bought a new trailer from a Georgia store, and within 2 months, refrigerator area leaks, starting to ruin the wood around it, bathroom slider door slider broke fuse on microwave blew out. And all this company could say? Bring it to us to diagnose minimum we will keep it for a week, then order parts, and have you return it for a week or more. Ridiculous! Wouldn't be so bad if it was just a summer camper, I live in mine for my job, all they would say, is yeah that would be hard to do, find a repair man to fix it, and send in the paperwork. CW told me call the manufacture, who told me to call CW. So my options, pay out of pocket for a repair man for a 3 month old camper to be fixed, and hope to get reimbursed, tow it to a CW, for me to pay for a motel for 2+ weeks out of pocket. I have called multiple repair men, and they cant do the work, so I am stuck with this. I would like to return or have the company repair it under their warranty. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE, AND THEIR STORES.
