This was quite possible the worst purchasing experience I have ever had online! First off I ordered a set of 4 custom shot glasses as a gift for a friend. The shot glasses arrived 2 days after the website said they would arrive, one of the shot glasses arrived broken due to poor packaging. When I called customer service the first time to have the glass replaced I was told the order would be "rushed." My replacement glass was supposed to arrive yesterday at the latest I was told. When I called customer service I was told it was a problem with shipping and "not the company's fault" when I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told there were none working. When I asked for the third time there was magically a supervisor on duty. He told me my glass would arrive in the next few days! This by far the worst customer service I have received! This company evidently does not care about their customers or their products. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!
They either hijacked or allowed hijacking of my designs and are selling them without my participation, they seem to have hacked into my computer photo files and are selling my personal photos without permission,. They are stupid enough to present my own designs to me to purchase from an 'unknown designer. Class action lawsuit to come.
As a shop owner I can tell you dealing with them is a nightmare. I am very close to closing my shop. They steal your money. Every-time I am supposed to get issues a Paypal payment or check for something they somehow mess it up. Every single time now. Its starting to look like they scam people. Every month they have sent it to the wrong pay-pal even though I have given them the same pay-pal account multiple times. Every-time this happens I always call and complain and they tell me the usually how sorry they are and they have reissued the payment to the correct Paypal for next month. What a bunch of idiots you can't just read the correct Paypal and then you make me wait for your mistake only for you to do it again. It's not like my store doesn't make money either. Cafepress has made a whopping $800 off me in the past year all of which I have not received a dime for.
This company does have many products that you can not find anywhere else (which is unfortunate for me). I literally spent a total of 3 hours placeing an order, running my check card and trying to get the correct arrival date. I spoke with people who were in Jamacia and South America. They could not figure out how to run my check card, it took six different times. I paid an additional 12 dollars for the package to be delivered by the 15th... only for them to tell me it may arrive on the 16th (after they charged my check card). The customer services was AWFUL. I could understand what was being said due to the phone connection (distance) and language barrier. THIS WAS THE MOST HORRIBLE shopping/buying experience I have ever endured.
The dresses from cafepress are absolutely beautiful! I have ordered many times and I get great dresses which fits perfectly every time. Love this site!
I have just started ordering from cafepress... so far have had good luck with them... I really like the items that I have ordered... in fact am working on Christmas gifts... find them very unique...
Customer service response is excellent. I order a T-shirt and it was the wrong size. They didn't have a size in the T-shirt I wanted so they offered to exchange it with another product within $5 and said I could keep the T-shirt that was shipped to me. I decided to return the T-shirt anyway and requested a refund. They were happy to do this.
Cards are very poor quality, look cheap (which they are not!), the envelopes are exceptionally poor quality and are way bigger than the card, again giving a very cheap overall look. Really disappointed as I had ordered special cards from this site and could have got better at the local newsagents! I was particularly surprised as I had used this site for cards about three years ago and the material the cards were printed on then were of a far higher quality. Buyers be aware.
I must say that I was skeptical about ordering from cafepress. I wanted a shower curtain I saw on their site so I ordered despite several bad reviews about quality and service. Well... I am so glad that I did, as the order came when promised and my shower curtain looks exactly as the picture on the website. Quality is exactly as I had hoped for. I am actually using this curtain to made a headboard for a bed! It will look amazing! Thanks cafepress! You have gained a return customer!

I used to get nice T-shirts from here, but recently they keep screwing up my orders. There's no point in ordering from them anymore.
I ordered a shirt and a button from cafepress.com. About 2 weeks later, I received the shirt, no button. The next day I got another package, thought it was the button but was too big to be the missing button. Turns out it's some other poor soul who ordered from this company's order. If your name is Kurt and you live in Wisconsin and are missing your Bears and Cubs t shirts and woof sticker, I have your stuff. IT's sunning itself in Miami. My shirt that arrived is tiny (says it's an XL, would probably fit a size 6 girl with B cup) It all needs to go back. Awaiting to hear from company as to how they want to handle return shipping... I will not pay to return, so Kurt, if you happen to read this, e mail *******@gmail and we can work something out. Cheers!
Car magnets will fade! They only lasted about 5 months!
We bought 70 car magnets to be sold as fund raisers and after 4 months, they faded! I was told by customer service that it had been a "long time" since we ordered them and there was nothing they could do.
Do not order car magnets from Cafe Press. Horrible quality!
Ordered a t shirt on 21/07/13 for my friends hen do. It stated it would be delivered by 25th to the 30th of July so i thought this would be plenty of time to arrive before her hen do on 09/08/13. I received an email on the 24th July to state it had been shipped. I emailed them last week after the 30th came and went and no sign of the t shirt.
They then emailed me back stating it can take upto 10-15 business days delivery, so i should receive by 14/08/13.24 days for a t shirt to be delivered? This was not what they stated on their site. I don't ever really complain but this i feel is bad service and will be a waste of money for me as the hen do is in 2 days. I could send it back but you have to pay shipping prices!
Would not use them again
Not a good experience with this company CAFEPRESS. Kinda disappointed. I ordered just a poster for my son as he recommended their web, and it's saying 10 business days to deliver a poster?. I called customer service to complain that they will loose customers the way they prolong the orders to be delivered. While I ordered a mug, pajamas, tshirt from another company & it took them only a day to deliver same regular shipping...
I have ordered many tee shirts from this site. They always come out great, and nice thick shirts, not thin cheap stuff. The colors are great, great selection, you can find ANYTHING, or have something made, just for you. I have also gotten bumper stickers, that I couldn't find any where else. Easy site to order from, and ship fast.
I was ordering a shirt and ordered a medium size T-Shirt. When it came, it was extremely large and not what I intended. I got back online and realized that I had not ordered the Women's fitted Tee style so I opted to exchange and replace my item for that. CafePress sent me the corrected size and did not required me to send my original shirt order back in. They asked me to keep it as a way of saying thank you. I ordered these for an event I am attending with a friend and now we each have a shirt! Great service!
We set up a store and have nothing but less then stellar experience and very little customers service.
1. Can not add our payment information and have open several support tickets after a week still not fixed.
2. Our store is not even searchable from their site.
3. Managing the store is awkward in that their consumer and retailers bleed into each other making it difficult to understand who they are speaking to.
4. Their support focuses 99% on the consumer
I think they do take clear advantage of the store owners who upload original artwork and drive traffic to their site. Our compensation is around $2 per t' shirt on a good day). As far as I can see it's like a school candy/gift wrap program, where the children do all the work for very little profit.
As a retailer you really have to watch your numbers. Often times you can get a better ROI and quality if you manage the process yourself.
I had a recent order for a tshirt and ordered the wrong size. The company wrote back and said that I don't need to return the original as they don't want me to incur additional shipping charges, and a replacement is on its way! I am a prior retail employee, and am so impressed! I have pending orders with them, and already am sure I will use them again to order products! Great customer service!
I want to tell people that the CUSTOMER SERVICE at cafe press is wonderful! They stand by everything, and are prompt to reply to you, and prompt to make it right. I have bought from them many times.
The only note i would put here is be very careful of your sizing you order... every time i order from them, the women's tshirts are way too small, despite the description they have on their site.
But they DO help you in these instances.

Answer: I believe the company did a great job on growth and promoting the "little guy" and November 2013 they changed policies, changed production, changed items and product quality and reduced shop owners commissions on their way to becoming greedy. They made the company a public traded entity on the stock market and was out for themselves. They got rich, the stocks fell, the products became of poor quality, and August of 2014 the president, CEO bailed out and left. To regroup they have tried to add companies like Marvel Comics, Snoopy and other big names to keep the losses from poring in, instead of supervising quality and buying a better quality product.
