Buykud

The product is inferior and the workmanship is shoddy. They advertise well as the clothing line looks good in photographs. What you see is not what you get. The instructions for returning garments was not included in the packaging and neither was the invoice. After contacting them via their Facebook site, the instructions for returning were so complicated and the the cost of shipping prohibitive. I have learned an expensive lesson.

I bought the Women linen Wide leg pants from Buykud.com that looked very nice online. It was black and the description said that it was made out of linen. I paid $53 for it. When I received it I couldn't belive it was the same skirt I saw online. First it was grey and made of rough and itchy material that I could' exactly determine as there was no label to indicate what type of material it was. The size was extra small. It could barely fit me and it was cheaply made. The sawing was inferior and looked like it was made by a ten year old. I urge anyone who's tempted to buy from those people never to succumb to the temptation no matter how nice the clothes look. You'll be in for a very unpleasant surprise. I belive they are a bunch of crooks and scammers.

I bought a dress at an outrageous price. It took weeks to arrive, and when it did, I wished it hadn't.

The dress looked nothing like advertised. It looked like it was made from 1970s bed sheets, and sewn by a ten-year old home ec student. I can only hope it wasn't actually made from child labour.

No point in even bothering to waste time trying to get a refund - it will cost me more than that to send the dress back and from what I gather they are not very responsive anyway.

I shall be more careful next time to avoid these scam websites.

Buykud makes great dresses in wonderful dessins for women like me, a bit overweight. I have bought about 8 of them till now and they all fitted great, and they wear lovely. But... if you want to try to send something back. The instructions are absolutely vague and I didn't do it at the end. They say they have made arrangements so you don't have to pay taxes, but I got an invoice for VAT once (in three orders). Communication is rather difficult, on messenger in Facebook they do answer, but it takes some time...

Be careful about any purchase from Buykud ( an online store in China)! I purchased 2 tops from them at a total of $150. The quality was not good and the one top was wrong color. The return shipment will cost me $70. I have tried to get Buykud to do the honorable thing but they refuse and they have removed all my post from their facebook page and they have blocked me from being able to post any more post there. I finally was able to return the items through a resolution with paypal but it cost me $30 for return shipping.

I ordered a dress for a special event, so when they told me it would be back-ordered and not available until after the event, I asked to cancel my order. It took a few days, and they wanted to just give me a store credit, not a refund, but I insisted. On the fourth day, they did refund the money. I doubt, based on these reviews, I will order from them again, but they did let me know how late the order would be, and I was able to get my money back. Based on what I have read here, that may be worth one extra star.

I ordered a top and paid right away by paypal. They send me the confirmation by email of course. It took them 18 days to tell me they no longer had the top. When I tried to get back to them, I had to go through the website. They said they didn't recognize my email! Now I am appealing to paypal to get my money back. They say that you can "message" them, but nobody answers. Also told Shopify who hosts their site about it. They are looking into the Buykud store.

I have the same experience as you... found that returning the horrible merchandise cost more than half the cost of the order. Originally they offered me a 5% discount to keep the stuff or no shipping on the next order. When it came to them paying the 5% discount, all they offered was $8.00, the shipping charge. And it is done and dusted, paid to me through PayPal, so seemingly they think not recourse. I hear what you say about the Phoenix warehouse. What a scam... I will take this matter further.

I ordered a dress from them and it was not like the dress pictured on the site- sleeves were different, and I contacted them to request a return/refund and they make it impossible to return. I am stuck with a dress I'll never wear and I am out the $78. The quality of the fabric was cheap. Scam. Go to their website and see- under refund/return- they say to fill out a form which isn't on there, and mail the item back to them, (no shipping/order info in the package)- basically they make it impossible to refund.

I ordered the denim loose jacket. It is designed so that when I raise my arms it snags and pulls on my backside. Not acceptable. They tried to bribe me with keeping it and receiving a very small discount and free shipping on another item. I refused. So now they are saying I must send it back to China! I am challenging this purchase on Paypal, at least hoping to alert them to this company's bad policy. The shipment back to China would cost more than half of my refund, so they know I will opt out. Meanwhile, what really galls me is, the package arrived in about a week after I ordered it, from a DHL address in Phoenix AZ! But NO paperwork in the package, and no return address or even identification of the sender. I told them I want to send it back to Phoenix, but they are refusing that. There is obviously an anonymous warehouse in Phoenix. Crooked bastards. Too bad, some of the clothing looks interesting,

This company does not abide by its stated returns policy. I purchased a coat that was not as it appeared online. I followed the returns policy to the letter but received no refund - and had to pay an extra $50 for the return postage. I pursued a dispute through Paypal who refused to reverse the transaction despite my having evidence I had followed BUYKUD's returns policy. Paypal no use at all. The credit card company would have been better. A very bad experience.

I ordered a purse a week ago that hasn't even been prepared for shipment yet. I've sent them requests about the shipment, to which they haven't replied. I asked for a refund and they sent me an email telling me I could return the item for a refund. I can't return something they haven't sent me. If I did get it and want to return it, I would have to send it to China, which probably costs about the same as the purse. I guess I'm going to have to suck up I got screwed out of a hundred bucks--can't fight a company in China--and be more careful about placing online orders in the future.
