I scheduled Budget Heating and Air to come for a diagnostic report on my existing A/C source on Monday 9/10/2022. On Sunday my A/C system went out. Budget owner, Scott, came on Monday, reviewed my issue and had service men there the same day. It was fixed and cool in under 2 hours!

Budget heating and air did a great job. They did everything as promised. They communicated well. They helped me with questions and they followed up. The AC unit was delivered on time. Everything was top notch.
I didn't receive everything ordered and the ac lines were the wrong size for the attachments supplied on the unit.

Thank you for your business and reaching out! The correct line sizes were sent to match the indoor units in the system purchased and passed our Quality Assurance checks as verified by 3 staff members and management prior to shipping. We believe the confusion is happening when you are looking at the copper connections at the outdoor unit. The adaption happens at the outdoor condenser NOT at the indoor units. The copper size always follows the indoor units connection size on ductless mini splits. You adapt at the outdoor condenser. The default copper size as set by the factory at the condenser is most common configurations however it is meant to be adapted if needed depending on the indoor units selected since there are many different combinations that are possible on a multi-head system. Daikin includes the adaptors to connect to the different sizes with the outdoor unit packaging. If missing please contact us and we will provide for you. As to the missing product we checked all Quality Assurance Paperwork and photos of the shipment prior to leaving our facility and all items were present. Matt in our Freight Claims department reached out to you and assisted you in filing a claim directly with the carrier.

I bought a 5 ton condenser and air handler from Budget Heating and Air Conditioning. Their communication after the sale and during the shipping process was bad. I would call the salesman back and I would be put on hold sometimes more than 20 minutes. They told me to inspect the delivery when it arrived. I told them it was being delivered to my 82 year old mother's house and I would need to know when it arrives so I could have someone there to inspect it. I never heard from them and the equipment showed up 6 days later than they said it was going to arrive. The equipment was wrapped in black shrink wrap to secure the boxed equipment to the pallet. There was not visible damage to the outside of the wrapping. A few days later when my installers showed up to put the equipment in and unwrapped the equipment there were two places that clearly was where someone had run a forklift through the box and into the equipment damaging the coils. I called budget and was given the run around. The GM Phillip Borneman would not even take my call and did not respond to my voice mail. I had to deal with their shipping department Matt Drinnon. Though he admitts they use black shrink wrap to secure the package to the crate, he of course denies that they covered up the damage done by the fork lift and shipped it out anyway. Budget basically says that they take no responsibility and told me to file a claim with the shipping company they used. Terrible experience and terrible customer relations.

After I published the above review and sent a copy of it to the company, I got an email from the GM the next day. Coincidence or motivated by the review, you decide. I still believe in my heart that someone in their shipping department caused the damage and concealed it. I asked them to review their CCTV footage but they never commented on that. I don't believe that the company is in a habit of doing this or how could they stay in business. The GM and I went back and forth with 2 or 3 emails and eventually settled on a 400 dollar refund on my order. I would much rather have had a new and undamaged unit but I am ready to cut my losses and move on. Whatever motivated them to reach out to me after the review, I appreciate them finally getting in touch with me and making an attempt to come to a compromise. I have upgraded my original rating of 1 star to a 3 star rating.
I ordered an ice maker on April 25th, 2022.
One month later I received a call from Hector to go over my order. He stated that I would receive my ice maker in 2-4 weeks. I agreed because we were planning to open our coffee shop July 1st, 2022. I received an email in the middle of June to leave a review so I got worried and called to check on the order, left a voicemail. Nobody called back. Couple days later I called and I kept being transferred to different people and I had to leave a voicemail again. I called again and asked to speak to a manager, Alexis, she told me that my order is back ordered and will arrive in 24 weeks! Not 2-4 weeks! And then she checked and said that they do have a unit in their warehouse that they could ship out but I had to pay additional shipping. I already paid my full invoice in full $3055 for the ice maker plus I also already paid $800 in shipping. She said I had to pay additional $500 in shipping because they thought it was going to be shipped from the manufacturer.
She said that Hector would call me back to figure everything out because he was assigned to my order. Hector did not call me back next day so I called a day later and Hector was so rude, the worst customer service. I just simply said that I paid the total for the ice maker and the shipping cost already. And he was really rude. He said I don't care it will not come out of my pocket, the prices have went up since you ordered, the gas prices have went up ok. I asked to talk to the manager because this guy didn't make sense. Hector said you can try but my manager will just cancel your order. Well that's exactly what happened. Two months later after I ordered, no communication on the delay, plus the extra shipping charge. My order got cancelled!
I ordered a new one from webstaurant.com and it is already shipped same week.
I would never recommend this company to anyone.
I never write reviews, this is my first. I just don't want anyone to trust a company and then two months later be left without your order that you paid for in full!

First and foremost we sincerely apologize for the bad experience you had with our Company. Our GM Philip who you spoke with on the phone the day additional shipping was discussed will be addressing the customer service issues that you experienced with our salesman. That is absolutely unacceptable and will be addressed immediately. As for the availability issue 2-4 weeks was the original lead time to our TX office and then changed by the manufacurer due to component availability issues. When you spoke with Alexis we had stock come into our FL location and we processed your order to ship out of FL. We recognize you paid $800 in shipping at time of placing the order but since we changed shipping to come out of our FL office and added crating to protect the unit to ship this all the way to Hawaii our actual shipping cost exceeded $1300 in shipping. Due to the competitive nature of ice machines we have very little profit in these units as our GM explained to you on the phone in order for us to ship we would have had to collect this additional amount. If we could have broke even we would have done so due to the bad experience you had with our staff, unfortunately we just could not absorb the additional freight cost without losing a substantial amount of money. When you understandably denied to pay extra we immediately canceled and refunded your order in full.

Horrible customer service and no respect for your time. Give a 2 hour window and when you ask for an eta after they are 2 hours late they don't even respond to you. So then wait another 2 hours and still no response. So made appointment with different company. Wasted whole day for them to do absolutely nothing and no response not a sorry or a common curtesy call or text to say they were behind or anything.

We have freight agreements with over 12 Freight Carriers nationwide. However we are more than willing to jump in and find out what happened and hopefully get you some compensation for lost time. Yes I received my order it was a week late AND Damaged, it looks as though Yellow freight dropped the package causing severe bending of the top piece of metal…I didn't notice it till I actually opened the box and plastic wrap

I purchased what was presented to be a metal return air can with insulated sides (Return Air Box, Register Boot 24" x 12" R6). The air can ended up having the entire top side made of soft fiberglass, i. E., no metal whatsoever. The soft top is weak and continuously sheds fiberglass, a dangerous/damaging situation under return vacuum. The website description is incorrectly worded and the photo is misleading. Hopefully they change their website description. Budget customer service is unwilling to accept any responsibility for their errors and now I am stuck with this item and out of money for the part plus shipping.

Thank you for reaching out and we are sorry that you are dissatisfied with the product. However a fiberglass duct board backing is standard on all return and supply boots. This is by design as this is where you cut a hole and insert an appropriate sized tab collar matching the inside diameter of your flexible duct. A metal backed return or supply air box as you implied is typically only used on metal ductwork or modular homes. We disagree with your statement that this is a dangerous/damaging situation under return vacuum as again this is industry standard and has been done since the creation of flexible duct work many years ago. In addition underneath every return box under features it says the following statement "Durable metal construction insulated with a fiberglass back for a choice of collar sizes"
Regardless of the above our customer service team still did offer to partially refund your order to which you denied as you wanted a full refund.

I had no problems ordering from the Budget Heating site. The description was accurate, and the shipping options were great. I didn't need it in a hurry so I selected overland horse and carriage delivery. (I guess that it is called snail mail these days.) I would have no issues with ordering from them again.
I would recommend working with Budget for sure! The first unit we ordered was going to be on back order for some time. They found us another comparable unit and delivered within 2 weeks time.
Purchased a 'normal' system: 5ton 15seer Rheem HP w 10kW. Next day later get some BS email: write us saying this is for sure what you want. Ok?! Fine. Two days later, a phone call, on a Saturday, saying we want to chat w you about shipping and warranty. Fine. Obviously closed on Sat, I call back on Monday (+5 days out now). This call is being recorded, etc. WTH? I am buying HVAC equipment, not committing insurance fraud... Two more days, nothing ships, call back 3 more times, eventually they cop to each half being in different states, no idea when it could ship, unless I pay an extra $400 (essentially double shipping). Uh, no. Bear in mind the CC was charged the day of the order. Great operation y'all running there folks; disappointing after a successful buy from them 4 years ago. Cancelled. Never again.

They were outstanding extremely timely and quick in responding to my requests. The services provided were excellent and very well priced. I would hire them again to take care of any future HVAC services.
Still waiting on a response, but the unit was damage and noted before delivery driver left. However I will say the company was very helpful during the purchasing stages. I will update my review once this handling damage is addressed.
Budget is focused on the homeowner. I have purchased two systems and staff is always helpful and knowledgeable on the phone. I recommend to everyone.
