Pls don't waste your money on BudgetAir. Other sites are much cheaper and you have a 24 hr changes with paying the $200 (admin. Plus airline they claims). Use other site that is much cheaper than this one.

5pm I baught 2 tickets. Then 8pm I received an email that the flight was cancelled and it refunded for 5-10days. Really?

I booked with budgetair in December. Tried to checkin online day before and it said booking not recognised. So went early to the airport to checkin and they said we don't have that reference number and none of your names are on the manifest meaning the agency didn't actually book our seats with the airline. I tried to call the agency and none of the numbers on the website were working, tried the online chat and kept getting the chatbot. The lady at the checkin desk said the flight was full so we couldn't even be booked into that flight. We had to then book separate tickets with another airline and the airport which was costing more. Finally when I reached budgetair first they said we missed the flight, then I sent my reference number etc and raised the issue with my credit card, then budgetairsaid close the case with the credit card and we will be able to process the refund. After I did this they then said we can't refund because you missed the flight. Even though I have sent Evidence showing that the reference number never existed on the airline side. Their phone number dosent work so all this is back and forth via email. Do Not Book with them!

Those b….s. Made me miss my flight! Which i wanted to change. I spent hours with their chat bot! I had 30 hrs to change! They wasted 7 hrs not replying…. At the end. The 24 hrs limit passed… i lost my flight! They kept in the chat…. Replying every hour that they are working on it.
At the end they told me i have to contact the airline!
O have contacted the airline, airline reply's that the booking is with them! And has nothing to do with me directly as a customer! The worst experience in my life! No number to call!

They just try to steal customers money.
Absolutely unprofessional, they keep sending email templates and rejecting our request of refund - for which we are eligible even after proof they asked for. They should close.

I booked a flight using their services. Two days before my actual flight, BUDGETAIR changed my flight date without asking for my permission. Now, I am stuck with a ticket that conflicts with my schedule.
I reached out to both the airline and travel agency. The airline said the travel agency accepted the flight changes. The travel agency said that the airline changed my flight.

Do NOT book with BUDGETAIR.

I had a booking from Frankfurt to Bengaluru on 20th of February 2023 with Etihad airways. Before the booking was done, I knew there would be some circumstances that would not let me fly on the same date, so I made a booking with the premium service as an option, where I could change the travel dates (in case I couldnt fly on 20th Feb)
Now when I ask for a change of date, budget air is backing out stating that even with the premium option, I can change the date only if the Ethihad lets me.

This is not clearly mentioned in their terms and conditions. Now I cant change the dates and the ticket is non refundable.
My question is HOW CAN YOU COVER UP SUCH AN IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE CUSTOMERS?

I bought 5 for I and my family tickets from Beirut to Abidjan (Africa) departure was on 24/12/2020 on Xmas eve were i and family have aBug Party With All Families there one stop in France for 4 hours which I didn't mind and carry on to Abidjan, after I paid £3480 this rubbish company they don't know you're after you pay.
In Beirut, Middle East airline didn't let us on plane because they said you require transit visa, which is By Franch Low is Clearly Saying We Don't Need a Transit Visa Elso Said Go Back To Bugdeair To get your refund,I contacted more than 15 time on chat as they have No Phone Number to Speak to them directly. On chat they kept saying we can't help you and you have no right to get a refund contact Middle East airline, I didn't contact Middle East airline they keep saying we can't help you go back to budgetair when I bought the tickets from.
Now I'm taken legal action for both Bugdeair and Middle East airline.

People save your time and money.

We booked our flight through budgetair. Not the cheapest options, we paid extra for reasonable take-off times, reasonable landing times, reasonable transit times. Then all of a sudden the flights were changed, 5 out of 6 fligh numbers totally different. Guess what: super early take-off (problem with rental car drop off etc), 9 hours transit time. Totally unacceptable, major changes. I enquired about cancel and refund. No reply.

If I could give 0 stars I would! SCAM COMANY! I bought tickets on their website and then they sent me an email at 1130pm, the night before my flight, stating that my departing flight is cancelled because there are no seats available. They did nothing to accommodate and would not cancel my departing flight either. How the hell am I supposed to fly on my return flight if I can't get to my destination in the first place? On top of that my "refund" is 20% of my total payment, which I'm not even convinced I'll get back at this point either. When speaking to them you can only chat and the agent keeps giving the same scripted response that I should call the airline and deal with the them myself, that too in the middle of the night when the airlines aren't even open to speak to? How is this company expecting the customer to correct their mistake? Why are they offering seats to a flight if they can't guarantee the seats are available? NEVER BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH THEM

I made a reservation for my family for TWO-WAY tickets, and they confirmed the RETURN ticket but REFUNDED my onward ticket. How do they expect us to travel back from our destination without us even flying there?. NEVER BOOK AGAIN ON THIS SITE.

Our return flight tickets were confirmed while purchasing but got cancelled unexpectedly days before the flight without any explanation. The customer service was lousy and rude by telling us that there's nothing they could do and if we don't accept, they could cancel on us! Worst company ever!

I requested a ticket change and paid on December 22. On the 26th (one day before the flight), the reservation did no longer appear on the page, nor could I check in. They had me waiting for a day without giving any kind of solution. They constantly say that it is being managed by a specialized team. A few hours before the flight, they still had no solution and just asked to wait. They even closed the support chat without resolving the situation and ignored the emails. They care 0 about how customers feel. I totally discourage you from booking flights through BudgetAir. The funny thing is that they have problems issuing an electronic ticket while they are selling that flight on their site. Given the impossibility of resolving the situation, I requested a refund of the money I paid, and they asked me to wait longer to solve the situation. What until my flight leaves?

I have requested to cancel the fight due to the family issue. I booked the tickets on August 22,2022, and I have paid for the ticket of AUD$ 2,579.40. However, I have received a cancellation confirmation on December 13,2022, and am still waiting for the refund amount.

When I was chatting with their customer service, the airline cancellation fee was only AUD$235, which is why I agreed to cancel my booking. However, BudgetAir.com had replied to an email to me once I asked again, and now it was a different story and said the estimated refund was only AUD$2,025. That means the gap that I have to pay for the cancellation is AUD$554.40. This is a scam! Seriously! I also can't believe that the refund will take 16 weeks (four months) to process, depending on the airline. How poor are the services?

I just want to share my experience with all of you guys! This is very stressful to handle since there are no customer contact details to call them with. It takes them at least 5 days to respond to an email.
My issue is still ongoing and not fully resolved. This company is a total hoax and please stay away from them and do not book flight tickets with them.

They will never support you, and the only way to contact them is by website chat which is absolutely useless, once an Indian operator will reply they will only pretend to forward your request of support to a "specialized team" that will never reply to you.

Stealing and scamming people are two things described budget air. We booked our family trip in 2020 january with cancellation insurance extra $70 per ticket and when covid hits just 2 weeks before our departure date every flights got cancelled. I have confirmed the refund has been given by the airplane company to the budget air but they (budget air) decided to keep it. We lost $5800 in total while every other people who booked from other travel company got their money back. We reported them to the police but that's all we can do. Cause they chose to block any communication from us.

This is very disappointing despite continuous follow up with 14 Reminder since 7th July 2020 (more than 2years and 5months passed away) cancelled booking BSA-******* intimation was received from BudgetAir.com but still they did not refund Ticket amount USD 505.40 with unjustified and illegal excuses as COVID-19 impact ended across the globe life return back to normal but not for the customers of BudgetAir.com excuse of Airline taking long time to refund keep lying, false promises and contradict statements.

Some time they asking to contact with airline for the refund but airline in return saying to contact where (the BudgetAir.com) buy the ticket to whom payment was made.

I request International Consumer Court/AITA/Trip Advisor/Sitejabbaer to black list the BudgetAir.com to protect the right of Customers/travelers

Took the money and didn't book the flight and when contacted them 1 day before flight, they just told the amount will be refunded and no one even bothered to let me know that tickets were not booked while the booking was showing on their website that booking is done... Waste of money and time... had 2nd bad experience...

Made reservations for a multi-leg Asian trip. One of the airlines changed their flight schedule that resulted in a 22-hour layover. This did not work with my schedule.
According to BudgetAir's written policy:
"Unfortunately, sometimes airlines will need to make adjustments to accommodate changes to aircraft and routes. We have no control or influence over this. If this is something that happened to your flight(s), you should have received an e-mail from us informing you of the change(s).

When a major change to your schedule is made, the airline needs your confirmation on how you would like to proceed. Your options are:
• Accept the change(s) and proceed with your rescheduled flight
• Change the flight to another option
• Cancel the flight

The e-mail you received from us contains all the information you need to confirm your choice."

I received an email notifying me that a change was made in the flight schedule. When I 'clicked' on the email, to my utter surprise, I was not given the above options, but instead, I received an instant confirmation that I accepted the flight changes! I immediately sent an email to BudgetAir that I was not given the options as outlined in their policy and the flight change was unacceptable. I received a reply instructing me to use their 'Live Agent' chat.

I contacted BudgetAir via their 'Live Agent' chat and explained the situation. They said that since the flight changes were "confirmed", there was nothing they could do. So, I asked for a telephone number I could call, and I was informed that their "telephones were not working'. I next asked if a supervisor could review my case. The "Live Agent' refused my request. I made several additional requests via the 'Live Agent' chat to have my case reviewed since I was not given the options outlined above. Customer Service refused to review my case.

In the end, I was informed that the airlines that changed their schedule did not have another flight that worked for me and my only option was to cancel the entire trip.

Upon cancelling the trip, BudgetAir hit me with several 'hidden' charges and I ended up paying 31% of the original purchase price to cancel the trip. Beware!
