We drove from Pennsylvania to meet another party and their dog from Massachusetts in Newburgh, NY - about a half way point. We chose to meet at Bill Joe's Ribworks because they are listed on your website as dog friendly. When we arrived we were turned away because they only allow "service dogs". If this were the case, it should be stipulated as such both on the BringFido website and the restaurant's website. We found a friendlier restaurant just a block away so all was not lost. I just wish BringFido would clarify their recommendations.

I recently used Bringfido for the first time so reserve a Romantic getaway for my wedding anniversary. And they managed to ruin my anniversary. They advertise rooms and places that are not an option. Which is what happened to me. I was told I had to call them to give my consent to reserve another room that is available. Which I did. Then they charged me $85 more and reserved the wrong room. I did not end up with a whirlpool tub for two, no king bed or private deck. I ended up with a two bedroom full size bed kids birthday party right outside my door overcharged runied wedding anniversary and out $300.

When you select a city, this site gives you its most current information about room prices and pet policies, including pet deposits. Every hotel listed allows at least one small dog. Some allow multiple dogs, large dogs, and cats. If you have any doubts about the prices or pet policies, you can always visit the websites of the hotels or call directly. This site helped me find hotel rooms for me and my dog and cat in Illinois, Missouri, and Colorado.
