BB shipments are always packed well against dehydration and shipping battering, retaining soil in pots and protecting leaves and blooms from drop or crushing.
Plants repotted, remained healthy even after a few days of stress, and BB welcomes questions if there are problems. Customer service is amiable and efficient. In fact, I wasn't going to buy ANY plants after an AMZ BB return and wound up buying $300 from BB because of customer service. I live Zone 5, and there's a decent selection of cold hardy species among their stock listings which exceeds most other online nurseries which typically specialize in warm zone plants.

It is unfortunate that what should have been a very satisfactory purchase transaction was ruined by the horrible Federal Express delivery service. I live in the country and instead of driving up my long driveway to deliver to my front door the fedex driver more often than not leaves my packages, big or small, down by our country road which is exactly what happened with my beautiful Bright Blooms plants. I then have to drive down to get my package and often have to wait for my husband to get home if the box is too heavy. You don't have to worry about porch pirates when fedex is the delivery service. The fedex driver will make it very easy to steal a package by leaving it right next to the road. When you read the preponderance of negative reviews on the internet for fedex I am really surprised more companies don't switch to UPS. I have never once had a problem with ups over many years. I am at the point of making purchase decisions based on whether or not Fedex will be the delivery service.
The tree was shipped in a timely fashion via Fedex and packaged very well. However, upon opening it was obvious that with severely wilted leaves the tree was going to die. I took photos, immediately planted, and monitored for a couple weeks just in case. All leaves dried and fell. Sent photos and request for replacement to the e-mail address supplied with the enclosed planting instructions, but the company ignored it. A phone call to customer service documented the problem, but they required another 3 week wait before sending a replacement - "just in case". Barely got the replacement tree in the ground before hard freeze here, and so far it looks healthy. This was an incremental addition to my existing orchard, but it will be my first and last purchase here. With any luck I won't have to request another health tree in the spring.
I received my plants and trees from Brighter Blooms and I'm overall excited. There was a mix up in the order and after talking with customer service, they were able to get everything straightened out with no problems. I have planted everything and I'm excited for this journey with my plants. One of my arborvitae's didn't look the best. I talked with customer service and they immediately sent me another one. Also, I did not receive an additional plant and they also sent me another back out. This made me impressed on how well they run the business. I will be returning. Thanks!
Plants looked healthy enough, but just my luck - one said 3-4 feet tall. Mine barely measured 3 feet-The other claimed 4-5 ft tall- mine almost reached 4 foot. Is it just my luck or is there some reason I literally got the short end of the stick on both trees I ordered? The Bloodggod looks really good still- still holding out judgement on the other Coral Bark. Leaves turned within 3 days- not sure if its dying or if its fall.
The quince was well secured and box intact but the tree was totally dry. The soil was dry as a bone and the branches had dried up leaves which fell within a day. Planted it anyway but there is still no sign of life.
I was very pleased to receive 2 healthy banana trees from BrighterBlooms. I'd buy them again from BrigherBlooms.

Very happy with the speed of arrival of our Alberta peach tree and it arrived in excellent condition. So far it looks very healthy!
I ordered two varieties of apple trees to cross pollinate and will be planting them this coming week. The weather and my landscaper have been factors in them not being planted before now, but I have followed the watering directions and they've been in the shade on my front porch since I unboxed them which has served a good adjustment period and time for us to trim back our big Sycamore to give them the light they'll need. Am planting them by the street to feed the hungry in our neighborhood. Fingers crossed they really produce!
