I took the quiz and now get one or two emails a day and can't unsubscribe from the list.
Very annoying.
They have now added an unsubscribe. No more annoying emails!

I would give Bright Cellar 4,5 if the site allowed it. I have been a customer for five months. I have received five shipments so far. I had a problem with one of the shipments and Bright Cellars responded quickly and addressed the problem. Unlike the other reviews, Bright Cellar's customer service was good. I enjoy the variety of wines that I receive every month. Customers are given the opportunity to rate the wines according to how you like them and Bright Cellars then adjusts the selections based on my reviews. I would definitely recommend Bright Cellars to people who enjoy wine.

It is 01/08/2016 and I have yet to receive my December selections. I have gotten so multiple differing accounts of where my wines are and when they will be delivered. A Fed Ex label was created on 12/29/15 however, Fed Ex has not received an actual package to ship! Bright Cellars certainly did not find delay in debiting my account for the wine. I wish I could get a straight answer as to when the wine I paid for will get here. And the "customer service" response is laughable. Rather than try to problem solve or make things right, they just say "sorry" and give me the "your wine will be delivered soon line."

** Update. Wine has still not been delivered and the tracking information has not changed at all. It is now 1/12/2016 and the original order was 12/26/2015. This business is not a member of the BBB. I am going to file a complaint with my state Attorney General.**

I was super excited when I saw this advertisement. I took the super short quiz and received some recommendations that meshed so-so with my actual wine preferences.
Four bottles for $60 + shipping is an average deal, at best. That comes out to $17/bottle. My quiz results came with good descriptions of the taste notes (whites were right on, reds were not) and was impressed by the points next to the wines. And that is where things started to break down.
I didn't believe I was getting a 95pt wine for $15. And I wasn't. Their "points" are actually match to your taste profile. Not by wine spectator, wine enthusiast or any other semi-reputable reviewers.
I then checked how much the bottle would actually cost me if I bought it on my own - $12. Yeah, I'll just go ahead and save the extra ~$5/bottle you're charging me. ANYONE at a half-decent grocery with wine could match you as well as their search does.
If their search had the ability to enter taste preferences (e.g. "I dislike oak-chardonnays" or even vaguer "I like crisp whites") I think this would be better. I'm able to articulate a little about my taste preference beyond "Ew! Don't ever send me reds"

Bottom line: over priced for what you get. For people who know little about wine and like getting subscription services
