Unprofessional supervisor Christina. Need to learn to speak to get customers. This company is hiring people to speak badly to their customers. Also a rip-off.
I paid off my loan through my Credit Union. Bridgecrest acknowledged the payment and assured me I would have my title sent within 10 days. A month later I got a call saying that I was overdue on my payment. I told them that the loan was paid off a month earlier. They said that the check bounced. I called the Credit Union and they said that the check was cashed a month back. Bridgecrest called me every morning for 3 weeks harassing me for a payment and gave me a different story every time they called including saying they never received a payment. It's been over 2 months now and my bank's legal department is involved. They said that Bridgecrest finally admitted to having the money the whole time. I still haven't been refunded the late fees, been apologized to, or received the title yet. They even messed up my credit after reporting "overdue payment ".
Bought a 2016 Chevy Spark from them for 12,000 in March of 2022. They told me the car had recalls and that they were taken care of so I didn't need to worry about it.
They tacked on a 5000 dollar service charge without telling me and the car only worked for a day before I took it to a mechanic. It had a bad transmission at 62,000 miles. Luckily I got the gap insurance and they sort of took care of it. Still had to pay a 200 deductible. Oh, and the factory recalls weren't taken care of.
The payments are 540 a month for 5 years which comes to a total of 30,000 dollars for a 12,000 dollar car. I planned on paying it off early but I don't think I'm going to do business with a company that lies about pricing, if the vehicle works, and the repairs of factory defects.
I was looking for an honest review when i fell on hard times and bridgecrest/carvana was my only option to finance a car. To begin, I take responsibility for my poor credit score and financial choices and was grateful to get financed. After reading the comments about bridgecrest following the purchase of my vehicle, I was terrified to say the least. I knew my payments and APR would be high, but was praying that the customer service wasn't as bad as the reviews reflected. I am happy to say, my experience was lovely with bridgecrest. They called to welcome me, gave honest information about grace periods. I put my head down and set up autopay for 9 months and never heard a word from them. I was able to re-finance at that time and THEY congratulated me over the phone! They submitted and released everything as promised, cut me a check for overpaying. If you are truly in the head space for working in your credit to the point of sacrificing things you may want for paying a bill on time, budgeting, and saving for additional costs that may be out of your control, you will be fine at Bridgecrest. It's a hard and expensive lesson to learn the importance of maintaining financial responsibility, but I've had nothing but lovely encounters from bridgecrest staff!
I paid my vehicle off early and they locked me out of my account with no confirmation of payoff. The funds was pulled out of my account the same day and when I called customer service I would have to call back in 10 days for a confirmation and wait another 10 to 15 days to get my title. Now I have already sold my car and they can't get a tag for at least a month. Don't do business with these crook's.
Bought a vehicle from them. They stopped reporting to the credit companies. So I gave the vehicle back and they file a claim with my insurance company trying to claim I brought the vehicle in wrecked. I proved that was not the case. This company will get attornies to go after extra money even without evidence. This company should be charged with illegal activities.
Irritating company that caters mostly to subprime market, which I am not. I'm in the process of a refi with PenFed and can't sign the documents fast enough. If you buy from Carvana, refi as soon as you can (IF you can) because Bridgecrest is awful. I hate having this embarrassing trash financier on my credit report.
Most of the reviews are from subprime people who have a subprime understanding of lending (i. E., "I signed the paperwork for this outrageous 27% APR loan and Bridgecrest is not willing to work with me after [health issues/fight with significant other/depression/incarceration]". What they aren't saying is that they probably asked for an extension after two months of payments. Or "this company sucks because they repossessed my car!" They repoed your car because you didn't pay, moron. Or "I totaled my car and Bridgecrest blah blah blah". Who totals their car? I'm turning 50 this year and have been in two tiny fender benders in my life, having gotten a license at 16. Reckless people put others in danger and then they whine about insurance and finance companies giving them high rates and "not working with them"?! Go eff yourself. You're working with underwriters, not your social worker or elementary school teacher. It's called calculated risk. Pay up or shut up.
I have texted 3 messages on their web page for answers to problems. One being they were paid 650.00 by my Allstate auto insurance. They were over paid.
After 25 days I have yet to get a rely. Still trying to get my overpayment! I only owed 461.
I was with bridgcrest for a year and someone hit my car and wrecked it I had gap insurance so the car was paid off but they charged me an extra $247 because the trunk was broke, well I mean duhh dumbass it's a totaled car, and they report it to my credit I would NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE EVER COME TO THIS PIECE OF $#*! COMPANY, hope the company loose everything β
Insurance declared my car a total loss. Bridgecrest slow walked the pay off process in order to continue receiving payments from me as long as possible. After my insurance company informed Bridgecrest that payment would be received, Bridgecrest did not send them the letter of guarantee in order for the payment to process and instead reported my account delinquent. Bridgecrest has taken my credit rating hostage-- either I continue to make payments on a loan that should have been processed a month ago, or I will have trouble financing a replacement vehicle.
They refused to allow me to move my payments by 2 business days due to payroll dates shifting. I can't wait to take my loan from this business and give it to a credit union!
After approximately 4 1/2 years of payment, my truck was repossessed. I paid the money to recover it. The Bridgecrest rep informed me that she scheduled my pick up appointment at the time I made my payment ( 8:30am). After contacting the recovery company, I was told the business closes in 2 minutes and I would have to wait until Thursday to get my vehicle. It angers me because I could have made the appointment myself! This misinformation has me stranded with 2 infants and no car seat! Being professional, I feel that information should have been disclosed upfront. Unprofessional. I will never shop with Bridgecrest again nor will I refer Bridgecrest to anyone at this point.
Disappointed driver
They billing system is so screwed I'm starting to think it's a scam. My car was repoed 3 times due to they billing system being all jacked up. I'm shocked they still in business I've reached out to the BB twice due to they error I'm currently looking into getting a lawyer and they customer service reps are just rude and hardly know what they talking about. The last time my car was taken someone pulled up to my home with a tow truck with no info on it and a business card with the phone number scratched out I had to get the cops involved because no one had any Idea where my car was located. After figuring out the number the gentleman who answered told me he couldn't help me. I honestly don't want the car anymore and trying to find a way to get out of it
We have had thos car for almost 3 years. We have put 15 grand into payments in this car and we still owe more than the loan amount. How does that make sense. They don't report to credit. Total rip off
I bought a car through Carvana in April 2021 and financed via Bridgecrest. As a responsible customer, I purchased the GAP coverage and extended service warranty and paid in full for both at the time of purchase. I refinanced my auto loan in December 2021 via a different lender and thus was owed a refund of the extended service warranty and GAP coverage that I purchased. It is now March 2022 and I still haven't been refunded my money. I've called and spoke with almost every person on their customer relations team, to just be told that a check was mailed, but it reality it hadn't been. I call the next week and a new rep tells me there was a mistake and it will be mailed out the next week. I was a responsible client of Bridgecrest, making all of my payments on time. There's absolutely no reason why anyone should have to wait 3 months for money that is owed to them. My car buying experience was wonderful at Carvana, but I will not dare purchase from them again, solely because they are in partnership with such a deceitful company.
I just got a loan with Bridgecrest, after looking at my dashboard I realized they do not show a remaining principal balance. Thinking I'm just looking in the wrong spot I called in to figure out how to see what's remaining and was told I need to call in to get a remaining principal.
Wat?
There is no legitimate reason to hide that information. They want you to not see the interest racking up so you just keep making payments. I'd imagine this is also to discourage people from paying off a loan early.
I'll be getting out of this today.
I'm refinancing with another company soon, but I've never had an issue with Bridgecrest. In fact, I've never even had to call them a single time during the two years I've been paying my loan. I do take issue that they treat all their customers like subprime borrowers (e.g., mentioning stimulus checks/tax refunds on their website is tacky--no "real" lender attempts to tell you what to do with your own money). I hate having this company on my credit report. My interest rate is 4.65 and I'm looking to lower it-- hardly subprime.
As for all the bad reviews-- Don't blame the finance company for your crappy negative amortization/high APR loan that YOU AGREED TO. You wanted the car, you signed the paperwork. Not like someone forced you to sign off on a 30% APR. Understand the loan terms before you sign! Don't willfully agree to usury and then complain about it later. Anybody can rip you off if you agree to it.
Im very unhappy on how they treat people they call and call and call and when you tell him that you are unable to make a payment at this time or they want another payment they keep harassing you and threaten to take your vehicle away
Bought a car thru carvana back in dec 2018 and used carvana finance. Paid all my payments through carvana until out nowhere I couldn't pay my payment through carvana I had to do it through bridgecrest website. I setup automatic payment and assumed everything was good until I got back from a job over seas and found out that the automatic payments didn't go through and the car was put up for repo. I tried calling to fix the issue and everyone I spoke to was rude and disrespectful so I told them to come pickup their car. Two years later and the car is sitting on my property and now they can't find my account in their system. Very unprofessional and worthless company.
I bought a $6000. 00 truck. I made 36 of 48 payment of $235.00. That's over $8000. 00. I was informed that my balance was $*******. 00. I told them to come get the truck and now I have a $19,000 balance in collections and it's killing my credit. Not only that. They routinely will charge off the debt and then resubmit it a month later to keep it as a new debt. This kind of business should be illegal and the corporate heads should be jailed for their criminal ways
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
