Requested a payment change over 3 mts ago kept calling for update. Now 3 mts later they are telling me request can't be granted due to past due interest... WELL when I requested the chance I was caught up this is WHY I wanted a payment change so my interest wouldn't go up! I'll NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY ANYMORE
I gave my vehicle through them back in February 2021 voluntarily as the computer system randomly crashed and the car shutdown while driving. I hadn't had any issues prior. It was too expensive to rent a car or use ride share services while paying for repairs AND monthly payments. Today I went to purchase a new car and was told my account was still open. They've literally been reporting a "voluntary surrender" EVERY month since February 2021! They never closed my account! Weirdly it shows the word "closed" on my credit report but isn't actually closed. I have no idea what the heck is going on.
Do not trust this company. I used them to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted through Carvana before someone else did, but that was a huge mistake. In my opinion they're greedy. No wonder Carvana is in financial crisis, from what I've read, using this company they're associated with to finance loans. I also read about how many people have had huge issues getting their title from them, which is a huge issue when refinancing to escape they're ridiculously high interest rate.
I am a retired Marine and a 100% disabled veteran. I scheduled a payment, Bridgecrest did not draft my account, and then reported me 30 days late. I did not notice until the following month. I figured no big deal, they will fix this. NOPE! They told me to dispute it, even after I explained in detailed that it was not my fault.
So I dispute it, and not only do they not correct the error, they say that I was 30 days late on the next months payment as well. Which is impossible because I made that payment on time, and the month has no even ended! So I dispute again, and they respond with the same nonsense.
Currently I am awaiting the results with a consumer complaint. I do not expect them to be fair or hold themselves accountable. Their error has cost me to lose out on a home. My credit score dropped 27 points with the first inaccurate 30 day reporting, and then another 20 points with the inaccurate second 30 day late reporting. I literally fell into a higher interest rate bracket, and the deal is pretty much all but over if they do not correct this in the next 14 days.
I'm strongly urged military members and veterans to not support this company. They do not care about us. They do not care about any of their customers. Look at how they treated me, a 100% disabled retired veteran. They do not deserve out business.
Beware...I just received an email from Bridgecrest stating that my payment was decline, problem is I have not had an account with Bridgecrest in a year, so they had no business processing a payment. Luckily that card they had on file was old and obsolete. They say it was due to a system problem, but if it had processed successfully, I would have to wait till I got a bank statement showing the payment, before they would process a refund. Why would I have to prove your mistake when you would see a payment sitting on an account that is closed and has been for a year?...Beware
Please be aware of this company. They are not very trustworthy. We had an insurance check sent to them and now they're refusing to pay the body shop. Customer service sucks and they will not let you speak to anybody else to try to fix a problem. Seek financial help elsewhere. I don't see how this company is even allowed to be open.
Bridge crests literally puts you in a loan that gains a daily interest which makes it very difficult to pay off your loan. Meaning you owe 10k your payment is $428 monthly your daily interest could be $7-10 and it adds up! Your payoff will take longer and wayyy more money.
Called trying to ask why nothing is getting applied to my principal balance when payments are automatically paid a few days prior to due date. Was advised because of the amount of my daily interest is more than my payment. I can do simple math, and my first 3 payments had a couple hundred applied to principal balance. So why have the last 5 payments not had anything applied to the balance. Ridiculous! Interest for 30 days comes to 475.00 and yet zero is applied to the principal while paying a 743.00 payment. Will be reporting this account and if necessary filing a lawsuit against them. Beware of this company and pay attention to how your payments are being applied.
Bridgecrest, I paid my car over a month ago call them three times still no title, had to get my lawyer involved just to get my title to a car that I pay off
Paid off one loan and have another my credit is close to 700 now. They gave me the chance to do better. Thanks again.
If I could give this company -0 stars I would. The interests rates are extremely ridiculous, they have the NERVE to charge a $5.00 late fee, you will being paying the interest rates ONLY if you don't pay on time, even then majority goes to INTEREST RATES...Which means you'll be paying for ever. The fact most of the cars are OVER 10 YRS old, the interest rates are oblivious...This company will except those who are in need of a vehicle only to RIP YOU OFF COMPLETELY...STAY AWAY...IF YOUR CHOICES ARE LIMITED...TRY TOO REFINANCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ( IF IT'S BRIDGECREST LOAN)...
Through them and carvana these guys are terrible. They over sold me on insurance if the car breaks I could get it repaired. Something did break and the car would not work properly and now I have to pay out of pocket for repair when I was told the insurance would cover the car as long as I had coverage. Screw these guys!
I was enrolled in BridgeCrest Autopay, and changed my bank account information. I submitted a payment manually with my new bank account information on the due date for my two vehicles. It turns out that although I changed my bank account, and entered manual payments, BridgeCrest also took the payments out of my autopay bank account, which I had since deleted. This is unacceptable. I called the customer support line, who refused to manage up, and didn't offer a resolution. I was then transferred to the customer service line, and they told me their only recourse is for me to send bank statements, reflecting monies were pulled from the bank accounts, via email, and that someone should get back to me within 48-hours. This is a lifetime to wait just to be assigned a customer service representative. I want my $411.00 and $360.00 refunded to my account for the month of 11/2022.
I recently refinanced my car with a different company, when my loan was paid off there was a surplus, I called bridgecrest today 11/21/2022 around 11:00am to inquire about my refund I was told the check was posted to my account but there is nothing saying I'm owed a refund at this time, and I would have to call back in 10 to 15 "business days" just to see if there is any update. I asked the representative why do I have to wait that long if a check was posted to my account and it exceeds the amount that I owe? And why does it take that long in general? And she replied "is there anything else I can help you with today?" and I told her no, and I'm going to report this company to the better business bureau. This is why I refinanced with someone else they are very unprofessional, and rude most of the time, they also could have offered to refinance my loan because it was initially 16,000 and now it's 10,000, but that's fine I'm paying half of what I was paying before with bridgecrest. I would like to get my refund a little sooner than 15 business days which equates to almost a month counting weekends. I attached photos to show they are very aware they owe me a refund. I would never recommend anyone to use this finance company.
Purchased a vehicle, then sold it off 3 months later. Initially requested the cost of the extended warranty back and was told I should receive it in approx. 6 weeks. Here it is 8 weeks later, and they are saying that I have to wait another 7-10 business days! COME ON, STOP JERKING ME OFF. You have the money, and you don't want to pay interest. I pay interest, so why don't you? BRIDGECREST IS A SCAM.
When it comes to receiving payments they expect you to be on time. But whenever I'm laying off the vehicle it takes them 10 days to process and another 10 days to refund my last payment even though it was paid off before the payment. 20 days they keep my money without an interest.
Literally get your car loan from anyone else.
I paid my car off 2 years ago and these $#*!ers have kept a lein on my car. Even if you pay the full amount properly- they keep ahold of your car. You don't own your car til you chase them down and told it would be over a week til the title is in your hands.
I would never get car from they I'm fcking single mom! They are piece $#*!! I should review bc I bought the mfcker car!
Bridgecrest is a RIP OFF Company. They took double payments out of my account and would not REFUND. Bridgecrest was given the proper requirements of getting REFUND. NO REFUND.
All I can say is Bridgecrest is the auto loan equivalent to a Pay Day loan scam. I get it, we all at time have no choice but to get a car. I also understand business and risks of taking on clients that have credit issues. But what this organization is doing should somehow be illegal. I've reached out to several organizations and lobbying groups to see if we can get some strong government oversite of loan companies like this. You know the people who use this service are already barely getting by, gouging them with high interest rates is just sadistic.
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
