Do not work with Bridgecrest because they will not work with you. Bunch of thieves. Recently tried getting a vehicle through Carvana. Ordered it it was dropped at my house. Drove it one day and got a check engine light. Reached out to tell them about it and that I wanted to swap it for another one. They dropped off the new vehicle and took the other one. BRIDGECREST is the loan company that works with Carvana and their customers trying to get a vehicle. Well needless to say, somehow I was showing I owned two vehicles under Bridgecrest, the first one I turned back in to Carvana because of the check engine light and the one I currently own. I called Bridgecrest to let them know I didnt own the first vehicle and shouldn't be making payments on it. After they worked with Carvana to verify that they indeed get the vehicle back, there was a matter of getting back the money I paid for the vehicle I never owned. Just told they can't give it back. $#*!ing thieves!

Customer service is absolute $#*!. I had a vehicle financed through Bridgcrest that was totaled recently. Every single time I contacted them for info that I needed to file a gap claim, they constantly told me that they didn't have that info and that I was supposed to get it from other company(insurance/dealership/gap company). I had to be a $#*! and demand to speak to a manager, then all of the sudden I got what I needed. They sent me on a wild goose chase back and forth between 4 different companies including some other company that the extended warranty was through. I have worked with multiple lienholders before and this company is by far the worst to deal with. This is the ONLY lienholder I have felt the urge to go out of my way to leave a horrible review for how $#*!ty of service they give. If I knew this is what I would have had to deal with when purchasing my Durango, I would've just bought a different vehicle somewhere else from a different dealership. The dealership I bought from was carvana.com. The customer service at carvana was great but they use bridgcrest for a lot of their loans so I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from them unless you can choose which lienholder to use. Seriously, $#*! bridgcrest and every employee that works there. They are all asshats that dont give 2 $#*!s about helping any of their customers.

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! "PERIOD" 1st, Horrible customer service, no compassion, no help nothing. They sound like robots. Bleeding you dry with "fees" that are not correct. I supposedly had two payments returned by my "bank" chase bank. However Chase has no record of them being presented let alone returned for non payment I called them to ask them how and why? Chase said they didn't know provided me with documentation stating it was never presented. Called Bridgecrest was hung up on three times. Finally got "Al" on the phone he was rude, and told me I wasn't on the account. (which I am) told me I was married to the other party on the account how can I use his information. "We are both on the Account" I then just paid it using my debit card, He didn't' want to hear that there is over 3,000 in his account why was it returned. He didn't know but get this charged me 3.95 to pay a payment with him and being charged 15.00 for the return free. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!? So I paid it just to get it paid! Spoke to a supervisor "Sydney" She told me I can send in my bank statement to show them, however in her professional experience she has never seen it reversed had no resolution but submit my grievance to *******@bridgecrest and see where is goes! The company will try and get any fee for any reason ever! Horrible. Getting my car refinanced as I type. I will never do business with them ever just horrible!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I moved to a new state a year ago and have had the most difficult time switching my registration over from CA to OR. I faxed them the correct forms MULTIPLE times so they could fill them out and send them to the DMV. It's been a YEAR and still nothing. I've called their customer service many times and they've been unhelpful each time. I've also asked them to update my address on my title multiple times and every time I request a copy my old CA address is still listed. At this point, I don't even know what to do or how to get my car registered in the correct state. I also got a ticket for having expired tags...thanks Bridgecrest!

Predatory Practices
June 19, 2023

I paid ahead on my vehicle and then tried to set up auto-pay. Because I was ahead on payments, they prevented me from setting up auto-pay until the date it was due (over a year from now). In the meantime, I have to manually log on or call every month less than 14 days from my payment due date to set up my payment. Even the customer service reps cannot put in the date for payment until less than two weeks from the due date. The fact they cannot allow something so easy and customer friendly with today's technology clearly shows they want to prevent you from paying off your debts and anything that reduces the amount of interest they make. I will not use this service again and have warned all my friends and family about it. This will likely prevent me from utilizing Carvana in the future as well.

I wish I had seen this earlier, I got my car from Drivetime, and since I was young with new credit, bridge crest made my APR almost 27%! I literally always pay 50-100 more for every bi-weekly payment I have, I've spent over 10k, not including the down payment and I've only gone down 2k. They literally call the second you're late from different numbers too, even tho I pay more, they won't let me change to monthly payments, and the customer service is horrible! One representative told me my apr rate goes down and the other said it doesn't, so I'm still at 27% percent after 1 1/2 having this car which is impossible to pay off before 2026, with the way they pocket all my money for "interest". It's ridiculous. Not to mention drivetime sucks, my car alternator was bad which made my battery have acid come from it, and I had to get both replaced, and they basically told me, "we pass the bare minimum inspections." Also I had the insurance for a deductible of $200 to get it fixed, but I had a friend that did it for less. But Like WTF
For REFERENCE: car was 21.3k, down payment 3k, knocked it down to 18.3k besides down payment I've almost paid 10k, and only 2k has went to principal, and now I'm at 16.1k. They say my APR equivalates to $10 or so a day which should be 300 or so a month, but I put more than that down and the money still goes to interest, it's literally a game and the'yre scamming people.

DO NOT USE
June 13, 2023

DO NOT USE! I tried to pay off 3 times using their portal and each time after acknowledging payment they came back and said could not process. 3 times all the while accumulating interest… so in order for me to get title I had to pay the interest. Scam or fraud DO NOT USE
They would not work with me even after I offered to pay half. They would not accept their responsibility. They have to make their money somehow..

I have been a customer of Bridgecrest since 2017. My loan is currently paid off, NEVER late. I received an email stating that if I made my VERY LAST payment by 4/30/2023 my account wouldn't be delinquent. However I made the payment in full on 4/19/2023 a few weeks after the payment was made I checked my credit this company reported me LATE. I reached out to Bridgecrest several times and I was told that the email I received regarding the last payment due by 4/30/2023 was no longer valid. I am very careful with my credit this has decreased my credit score significantly. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism within this company. I will be reaching out to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. The way I was treated after being a loyal customer is beyond comprehension...I've asked several times can this issue be resolved amicably however they DO NOT care about their customers.

Customer service
June 9, 2023

I went to make a payment on THEIR website. Filled out the payment information hit submit and it said an error occurred please try again. So I went back to the payment page and it said I still owed the payment. I went back and redid the payment and it said excepted. Then I get 2 emails that 2 transactions are processing. I called them and they would not do anything and said if I canceled at my bank I would owe them 15 dollars for a cancellation fee. They would reimburse me if I went and got a paper copy of the transaction from the bank, don't cross off any other information and here's the best part. Mail it to them no screen shots allowed and they would review it to see if I deserve the reimbursement. I told them that would be the next month by then how about if we call it the next month's payment. Nope can't do that either. So I told them keep it. I am going to my bank and refinance it. They will lose money because the payout loses all the interest they would have gotten. So I fired them. And told them that on every platform I can complain on I would. Truly shady business practices.

I scheduled an online bill pay with my bank Wisely on 4/10/23. Wisely said it was "successfully delivered on 4/11/23". My payment was due 4/20/23. Bridgecrest and I have gone back and forth almost everyday since 4/24/23 due to my payment not posting. They asked for my bank statement, I sent it to them, they did not accept it. On 5/17/23, when I got off work, my car was gone. I called the police and they said it was repossessed. To be a single mom with 3 kids dealing with anxiety and depression is difficult, they only added to it - and the amount of daily calling, emails, mail they send out is ridiculous especially when I paid my bill on time. I've missed 2 days of work because of this. This is my 3rd car with Bridgecrest, I had no problems before; but this will be my last car from them.

My daughter just got a new car not even a month yet and they just came to warren,,Mich and stole the car in the middle of the night. Then when she called them they told her she can't get it back after all the money.so yall saying y'all taking her down payment n all including the car. But I thought when they take a car they suppose to give the client a chance to get it back not tell them they lost Everything. But after looking at all of Bridgecrest reviews they have the worst reviews. The lowest review credibility ever. I can see if she had more than a month behind. But Dam. This is why People go to Progressive instead. Lesson Learned

April 28, 2023

Please never get your car financed through bridgecrest. They are the worst financial company I have ever dealt with. They start to call you if you are 2 hours pass your payment date. They also pocket jock. They began to send message like "Tax time is here make extra payments with your taxes". They are so annoying I just can't wait to get out of this contract. I got my car from drive time. Them also is a no go. I believe bridgecrest is drivetime major financer. Please take this advice and just say no

Bad
April 16, 2023

I will never do business with Bridgecrest again! Horrible customer service and they don't offer to defer payments even after making on-time payments consecutively for the past 3 years. I requested a payoff quote and the payoff is higher than what my payment balance is. How is that possible?

I currently have an auto loan and I lost my job a few months ago. However, I communicated asking if they could work with me far as making payment arrangements and they were not willing to help. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone as well as when I get back on my feet, I plan to trade this car in just so I won't have to deal with this lender EVER again. I don't care what anyone states, they are unwilling to assist in your time of need. HORRIBLE LENDER.

Scammers
March 19, 2023

Don't trust them, save and go to a better company this company is not worth the stress. Rude, money hungry and does not care about customers. My car was repo'd and was not properly informed. They kept harassing me after I told them the situation I was in and after speaking to multiple reps so I could change my payments days all they were concerned was for me to pay more for interest when I couldn't and was barely paying the days I had set with my new job after my payments I was being sent emails of my new balance but after I paid the interest kept going up with 530 a payment HOW? SOON AFTER I WAS MAKING COMPLAINTS AND THEY MISSED MY Payment AFTER I SIGNED UP FOR AUTOPAY AND THEY CHARGED OFF MY CAR.

If I could give them a negative zero rating I would! Where should I even begin. Let me sum them up in a nutshell….First off, good luck with finding a customer service rep that's here in the USA that speaks English or anything close to English where you will understand what they're talking about. Secondly, whoever you do end up speaking to, good luck with that because they may give you inaccurate information. Thirdly, good luck if your car is being financed (still making payments) and you're trying to get your car's title, or even a copy of your title, in order to register your car from one state to another because they will tell you that it will take 24-48 hours and you'll be never get it. Basically, if you're trying to get financed so that you can get a car, do not use Carvana because you'll get stuck with the financial company Bridgecrest!

I was in a tight spot and needed a vehicle, so I got a loan with Bridgecrest. I knew the loan was super high interest etc. I decided to do it anyway. Vehicle gets wrecked and my insurance company will satisfy the loan and I can have the car free and clear with a salvage title. Great news...or so I thought. Bridgecrest will not release the vehicle paid for or not. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could rate negative stars I would.

Good for what it is.
February 25, 2023

I bought a 2018 Dodge Journey in July of 2022. I knew I was rebuilding my credit and expected high interest rates. It wasn't a surprise. However, my down payment was only $300.00 with payments of $620.00 a month. This was doable for me so I did it. Fast forward to January of 2023. The car was total through no fault of my own. I kept insurance the whole time and never was late on my payments and never deferred any payments. My insurance deemed it a total loss on the 27th of January and gap company through Drivetime (Ally) sent the payment on the 23rd of February. My only complaint with Bridgcrest is that they won't finance me for another car after 8 months of perfect payment history due to there being a small balance owed while waiting on the gap insurance check to hit my account. Customer service was hit or miss. Most of the time it was good. But sometimes, I had to escalate it to a higher level just to get a simple question answered. Long story short, if you have to rebuild your credit, it's worth going with Bridgcrest and then refinancing after a year. I would recommend them to anyone with the advice of making sure your payments are auto drafted from your bank account so that you are never late.4 starts for the hit or miss customer service, but don't be afraid to escelate it in a polite manner and they will try to resolve your issue and get you the answers you are seeking.
