I did get my masks and absolutely loved them. They are my favorites- high quality soft fabric, great workmanship plus adjustable ear straps. Then the CEO wrote an apology letter saying they were overwhelmed with all the mask orders. It was new for them and got over their head. They seemed sincere that they didn't like disappointing their clients. To sweeten the apology, everything on their site was 50% off. So I tried them again. I ordered 5 masks that were $8 each(free shipping). This time I ordered galaxies and flowers and abstracts. When my order arrived about a week later, I was really happy. First thing I noticed, the colors really popped. The designs were sharp and bright. The masks were the same high quality but this time they added their logo inside. Very smart move; idk where most of my masks are from, but I'll know who made these. If Next time I need to buy masks, I'll wait for them to have a sale and will stock up.(My budget insists I wait for sales, but they are really worth full price.)
I gave them a scathing review before, but they apologized and I got an amazing product so I want to have about that too!
Ordered 5/1, mid-June I contacted PayPal and they gave a false tracking number. (Plus phone disconnected and no reply from email.) Glad I used PayPal bc I'd never get my stuff from them.
For starters, the butterfly designs and the Hall of fame artist mask designs are exquisite. For the meat of the matter, these masks are an absolute joke. If you're shopping for adult masks with adjustable ear loops then keep shopping. Don't do what I did and spend a whole lot of money on something that you think is going to look good and based on their reviews on their own website. You will regret the purchase. The adjustable ear loops on these adult face masks are really nothing more than youth face masks. There is no comfort to the ear loop fit. If you don't mind having your ears pulled forward then by all means make the purchase. Additionally, if you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for the order to arrive then make the purchase. The adjustments for the adjustable ear loops are nothing more than small beads designed to get lost at the 1st opportunity. Much like the current occupant of the White House who is causing us to have to shop for face masks in the 1st place, these face masks are an absolute farce
I purchased 4 masks 2 arrived in a few weeks and 2 took over 6 weeks after numerous emails I received 2 substandard masks from China. Go figure they do not return e-mails, their product is subpar at best and their price is ridiculously high for the product you may never receive. Anywhere but Brave new look
So many negative reviews. My experience has been good. My masks arrived today(order placed online July 19,2020; arrived August 3,2020), and they are exactly as advertised. I look forward to washing them prior to their first use and adding them in to my rotation of various face masks. I did have to return to the company's mask website to see exactly where on the masks one inserts the replaceable filters, but that mystery was solved in less than a minute. Love the print design on my masks. Ordered four masks in total, so I can give one each to my daughter and son in law. Thank you Brave New Look! Everyone, please wear your masks and try to maintain proper social distancing.

I wanted to cancel the order immediately after placing it because I read reviews about this company's horrible customer service. I admit it was dumb to check reviews after placing the order. I don't know what I was thinking. In any case I tried each of the multiple customer service email addresses to cancel and they would not do it. A rep actually wrote and said "Before I cancel this order for you, will you tell us why you want to cancel?" so I did and it still was not cancelled. They send emails explaining they cannot cancel because of the nature of the product, but really? You can't cancel something that won't be delivered for two weeks? I can understand not being able to return it, but even then, if something is wrong the consumer should have some recourse.
They say 100% cotton - well only the second layer is cotton and it is very thin. The top printed layer is some slippery and awful polyester that they fail to mention in the advert, I thought the mask would be made of 100% cotton which is why I purchased these. BUYER BEWARE -They do not accept returns for any reason- I asked to get these returned as they don't fit! These do not fit my face - maybe my face is rounder than most people (I doubt that I am so extraordinary)?... and I know all of the well-known pieces of art they have taken their images from and the print quality is dark and somewhat blurry. It's pretty cynical to make the claims they have made...
I guess they have figured out production since mine arrived relatively quick. Work in the restaurant business and these are very comfortable for all day wearing in a warm environment
After much shopping for an appropriate and quality face mask I decided on Brave New Look. It took nearly 4 weeks to receive my order. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THE PRODUCT. I am a male and it does not fit my head, even with adjustment of the straps. A TOTAL RIP OFF. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE CLOSED. I have told everyone I know to avoid the company and will continue to do so. I WANT MY MONEY BACK BUT FEARFUL OF HOW LONG THAT WOULD TAKE. Are these folks connected with Trump and his cohorts. The company runs business using the Trump format. I would expect this company to pay poor wages and treat workers like crap. Like I said. They need to shut the company down. I am forwarding my review to the better business bureau and anyone that can stop this kind of bull$#*!.
The mask I ordered took nearly three weeks to arrive. Paid $35 including shipping. The fabric is pretty but the mask is just a strip of fabric with two loops sewed to it. The loops are not adjustable because they are too short and there isn't enough slack to reposition the adjusting "bead" and it pops off. There is no metal strip to fit the mask over your nose and it hangs loose at the top and bottom. Don't waste your time. I saw the ad on facebook and was attracted by the fabric. If you look at their facebook page there are only positive reviews and many comments from buyers are hidden.
The face cover is just a piece of cloth with ear strings. Not stretchy strings either.
No bend on the nose area to secure a good fit. The chin area just hangs does not fit securely. People sell those on the corner for 5 dollars. This business is asking 20. Plus tax and shipping. Not well made for that price.

Very pretty and reasonably well made. Unfortunately not functional. The mask is too tall and does not fit well to the face. Too much gapping but it is pretty. The other problem is it takes weeks (3+) to get the product and since it is supposedly "custom" made is is not returnable. Do not buy this product it is not worth it.
I looked all over their site to find where the masks were manufactured. It says on the home page "Ships from USA." After I bought two masks I received an email from Brave New Look's CEO which is pasted below. Manufactured in China... Really?!

Received the facemasks in a reasonable amount of time, however, the filter inserts were missing which made the masks as effective as wearing a. 99 cent bandanna from Wal-Mart. I did get a response from customer service with them apologizing and committing to sending out the filters within the week... and that has now been five weeks ago. I'll presume now that I am one of the (what appears to be) many people essentially defrauded by this company.
One order says it was delivered, but not to me. Another first showed tracking and then disappeared around July 7. I don't expect to see either ever. Found much better suppliers on Etsy. Ashamed to have fallen for this. Maybe its COVID-19
That is right. I ordered 2 masks and it too 5 weeks to be delivered when the even stated on their site "REUABLE FACE MASKS Available now!" and they also state "SHIPS FROM USA Quality you can trust.". Now here is the truth. The product is from China. They are not "Avaliable now" when they take 4 weeks before they are even shipped. They will charge you immediately for them. The phone number they give is disconnected. The support email has one automated response no matter what you request and you NEVER GET A TRUE RESPONSE TO A REQUEST!
If you ware one of the unfortunates that ordered from them and either didn't receive your merchandise or can't get a response for a refund to return the merchandise then dispute the charge with the credit card company. PayPal was more than happy to do a charge back and get me a refund for the junk that is now in the trash.
Order a couple of mask and filters based on the website and stating quick delivery. Afterwards, I read the reviews here and got nervous. However 18 days after ordering the product it showed up at my doorstep. Considering the pandemic and shipping delays caused by it... I'm happy with my shipping and the quality of the product. Would order again and recommend.
I'm 90 days post order and still haven't received. I've contested on credit card and am tired of automated email responses. They still say will ship in 4 weeks of ordering... its been 90 days! Beware!
This is an update to a previous review. I finally received my masks July 10 and they are so pathetic that it's laughable. Please do not order from here, the masks are so thin they would provide no protection at all
Ordered multiple masks and filters on May 3rd. Should only take 3-4 weeks for delivery was told. It is July1st today! Emailed so many times I have lost track. All I got was an auto generated message saying my order had not shipped yet, each time the same message! I tried one last time last week and threatened to call BBB and BOOM! I was then sent a message that my order had shipped. Unfortunately the tracking I was given can't track because no merchandise has been sent to them yet. Do yourself a favor and order from a reliable company! Very angry at myself because I usually look new company's up and with the pandemic I just hastily ordered. Waste of $50
