Boost Mobile's reputation is significantly marred by consistent complaints regarding customer service and product reliability. Customers frequently express frustration over long wait times, inadequate support, and unresolved service issues, including poor coverage and delays in order fulfillment. While some positive feedback highlights helpful individual representatives, the overall sentiment indicates a lack of cohesive support and organization within the company. Additionally, concerns about misleading information and billing practices further detract from customer satisfaction. This combination of factors suggests a pressing need for Boost Mobile to enhance its customer service protocols and improve service reliability to retain its clientele.

Bought two phones a month ago. $400 wasted. Had 2g not 5g service I paid for. Called for the entire month, for two weeks has a recording bf their systems are down. When I finally reached customer service they could not even find my account. Yet they cut me off for non payment. Why would I pay? Tried to get my carrier unlocked to switch my phone service, they still can't because their system is not fully restored. They can't restore my service or give me a credit. But they can take my money and restore it then. That's BS! WORST COMPANY EVER!
Danger danger danger! Boost is going under. When have you ever seen those two phones a Moto g stylus 128 GB of storage for $9.99 and then they have a Samsung that is an outrageous price for $9.99 and unlimited plan I pay $60 for my plan the highest one now they have that one for $25 a month for life. Boost is going under anybody who buys those phones are locked in there they are scrambling getting as much money as they possibly can pennies nickels dimes they don't care that's why all their phones are under beware shut up
I wish I can truly explain how frustrated I felt when my auto pay didn't go through and I had to pay manually and still fail to get working service. Talked to 3 different customer representative in regards to same problem and got very different answers. Got promised one thing and did receive it. Had to change phone provider after using boost for 8 years I just can't deal with them no more. Dishonest company with slick techniques that only create more problems. I truly hope boost will go out of business cause they don't deserve to be around.
First things first… I have been with Boost for at least 10 years!…there is no reason why Boost customer service reps pick up their phones to tell you that you have to be transferred to another person and you have to wait over 20 minutes sometimes 30 minutes for someone to pick up your call! My Goodness! Boost has been around too long for this kind of BS! Level Up Already! Make it worse the person who picks up accent is so strong you can't understand a word they say so you spend a huge amount of time saying " huh" I don't understand what you're saying can you repeat that?" Boost tries everything to keep your info hostage so you won't have an easy time to transfer your line elsewhere! I'm am so over Boost right now! And I do NOT recommend them at all! They are the worse now more than ever! Don't do it!
These dum asses Said only 25$ to start. Said kool. Then the dum B. Said it would be 70$whatttt lol. You said 1st 25 Now 70 told her fu n boost mobile
I went over a month with no phone service from boost I finally switched service. They cancelled 4 lines and refunded e after they kept charging me. My fourth line they refused to cancel, refused refund, and when I asked for a supervisor refused to transfer me. Told me they were busy with a lot of other calls. I could just keep calling. Also refused to deactivate the line. I put a prepaid card on so as not to be charged again. They are stealing money and refusing to cut off service to keep taking money. They transfer you over and over again with no solution. Worst service ever. I will be trying to look into legal services to see what my options are.
This is the worst phone service I've ever had even worse than the government phones this phone service is garbage I have to always use Wi-Fi and then they suspend your account without even warning you and saying your bills due garbage garbage garbage!+!
Boost moblie is the worst phone company I've ever went through. They took $500 out of my account but didn't even pay the phone bill. They will not give me a code so I can have my phone unlocked. THE WORST. And the saddest part, they transferred me to 7 different people.
If I could rate this lower I would. It started when some hacker hacked into my bank account and stole my life savings. He took everything and I couldn't afford to pay my bill until I got my situation sorted with the bank. I called boost to request an extension on my payment and they said they were not allowing extensions at this time. I explained to them my situation and asked if there was ANYTHING that they could do to help as my money had been stolen. They said no, and advised they'd be shutting off my service if I couldn't make my full payment by the due date. I was upset enough as it is, but this really pushed me over the line. Their lack of empathy and willingness to even try and help was just deplorable to me. So I decided to switch to TMobile. When getting my plan with TMobile they told me I need my account number and a number transfer pin in order to port my old phone number, neither of which I had. So I called boost and got absolutely nowhere. They claimed they couldn't find me in their system and wanted the IMEI and ICCC among other various things despite finding me not even 2 days prior with just my pin when I called for the extension. I must've called about 50 numbers and been transferred who knows how many times. I got nowhere. Eventually I go into the store and I explain to the employee the situation, thinking being face to face with someone would surely be more helpful than what's happened so far. He didn't even bother to try and look me up in his system, just points to a phone number on the wall and says "have you tried giving them a call?" Yes, and about 50 others! He did give me another number to call and this agent was FINALLY able to give me the information I needed in order to port my number, but the process for this was utterly ridiculous. They don't care about their customers in the slightest, getting a hold of anyone helpful is almost impossible, in store employees don't even try to help claiming there isn't anything they can do without even trying, and their system is a mess. I regret being with them for 10+ years, and so far I am enjoying T-mobile. I won't be going back, and I advise others to do the same.
All the way around the service sucks. After I bought a phone recently the phone stopped working in the speakerphone. Next the internet started not working. But not only that then when I went to go switch my service I could not switch my service they would not unlock my phone. I have been with them for 10 years I purchased three phones1 from them and I believe that there is well there was no damn upgrade that's for sure. So technically and foremost they can suck my big toe. As well as this is a fake $#*! piece of crap service. I remind you do not get boost mobile. You will lose in the end.
I've been a loyal customer for years. Never really had an issue UNTIL one of the boost employees took it upon himself to call me and my mother randomly. Not saying anything and just breathing heavily into the phone! Creepy right? To top it off. They partnered with dish network? For voicemail services? What!? Haven't been able to listen to my voicemails in months. Now I cannot make calls to others on the boost network. This phone company is THE WORST, literally.
Me and my girlfriend overpaid $480 they say sorry that somebody lied to you but you have no insurance that you paid for So We're giving away another 300 today or something Service does work good as long as you don't mind being raped
Ive had to replace my phone 3 times in 2 1/2 years,2 out of the 3 were defective and this time after paying for it they have the nerve to tell me the sim is gonna cost an extra $25 and blocked me from using my current sim.But when I raise hell with them they tell me they will send me a free one but dont have expedited service so it will take an additional week,I am partially disabled and have medical problems and feel this is outright attewmpted Extortion by Boost to attempt to charge for something that should have came free with the replacement device.Im disgusted by their actions and will start looking for another carrier.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM,ITS NOT WORTH IT.
Didn't offer opportunity to port over new number. Prompted to call customer service who answers in a foreign country and they don't fully comprehend what you explain to them. And it's difficult to understand them also as they go in circles trying to understand what your trying to accomplish. To just end up being to go into a boost mobile store. At Boost moble store they want to charge you for their help and when they can't they tell you to call customer service, it's one big run around. Called customer service again this time pressed for Spanish and the customer rep who answers in Mexico spoke English well. He explains I can't port over my old number to the new Sim card because Boost mobile activated already with a new number assigned with out my knowledge. I was instructed I now have to cancel that Sim card with account and request new Sim card. I get transferred to cancelation department who of course states they can't cancel the Sim nor the account cause it's too new I'd have to wait for billing cycle. I refuse to accept No for an answer the customer service representative then states system is down and can't do it on his end.
And there is no speaking to a manager ever.
They have an excuse for everything this is worse cell phone service personal.
Too much of my time spent on this not worth the hassle. I had place the sim card from my previous cell carrier and reinstated my service. I'd much rather pay more elsewhere where than deal with this headache of a phone company.
This was completely ridiculous and a waste of time and money.
DO NOT DO IT. I strongly suggest you avoid using BOOST MOBILE or DISH NETWORK (one in the same now) at all costs. Here's why:
For almost a year of having BOOST, the brand new phone I got from them dropped phone calls and texts from the very beginning. BOOST never was able to fix that problem, and didn't offer any other suggestions.
Recently, without any prior warning, BOOST started switching/updating their network, and I didn't have any cell phone service at all for almost a week. I missed a job phone interview because of that, and I couldn't get ahold of any customer service to help restore my service, (they have limited hours, and limited reps). Once I did get c.s. On the line, all I got were apologies that my phone service wasn't on, but they had no idea when it would be! I was given four very different excuses, including they were hacked... so just excuses, lies, and more excuses.
Over a month ago, BOOST changed my plan from a family plan to a solo plan, and started charging me more, without any consent or notice. They said it was a system glitch, but they never fixed it. The other person on my family plan also got switched to a solo account and started getting charged more, and they never fixed that either. We decided to switch to a new phone carrier this week after many calls to customer service and a trip to a BOOST store. They denied us our pin #s and even tried hiding our account numbers from us. BOOST also locks all of their phones, so you have to buy a new one if you ever leave their service (that is so wasteful and unethical).
Oftentimes, there is no customer service to get ahold of either, and IF you catch them, they are trained to repeat that you have to go into a store to get any of your information or get help with an issue. Guess what, the store can't help you either, and it's probably "your fault that your phone is down". BOOST used to be great, but they are absolutely the worst now, and they are no longer inexpensive. DO NOT BUY INTO BOOST OR DISH
I ha boost over ten years this last 4 months my phone won't call out half time or it clicks off in middle of call I called boost they said they was having issues like serious 4 months now I call b.s I'm switching company's soon as my monthly plan is up boost has gone to hell
I've been with Boost for years. Today, I woke up with a text to call or go online to pay, when I've had autopay for over a year now. Tried to log in numerous times, but it won't even allow you to submit your password. When I called customer service, the woman asked for all of my card info when they should have it on file! I told them I'd verify the last 4 digits of the card, but that's it. After that, she asked for my card info again to submit a "yearly payment for less hassle." I refused, because I obviously signed up for prepaid month to month for a reason. Finally, I just hung up and called the local store. Apparently, Boost sold their accounts to a new company with a different system, and they've already been hacked this month! "No one's bank accounts should have been affected, but there's only so much we can do." I called customer service again to ask for my account number and transfer pin, to which they offered 25% off next bill, 50% off next bill, next month free, and even $25 off my monthly $35. After I refused all of that, they gave me my requested numbers. Boost's new company is going to scam everyone and I bet they'll close down soon. Time to switch!
After trying to setup online, and then one customer rep; and then 2 more today... 24 hours later, who knows when I'll get service back. I was transferring from AT&T, fees have gotten out of control, to a cheaper carrier. Well, as usual, buyer beware. Maybe and possibly I'll eventually get it, but Boost just expects you to be without service. AND, had I not called serveral times to check status, it would have NEVER been resolved. "Information was entered incorrectly" as their excuse; even though their rep entered the data the 2nd, 3rd time, and now a 4th time!
I've been calling boost mobile for about two months now and I've been getting the same run around about a refund for a service that I did not get to utilize. Every time that I call it's a new excuse or reason as to why I can't get my refund but nothing about how they weren't helpful of me being able to use their services that I paid for
Never again will I ever go through boost again I just lost out of $55 because my SIM card is locked and I can't get my phone turned on unless I buy a new sim and try and connect customer service even tho there not answering the phone and I still lose out on my money or buy a new phone and witch I still lose out on my $55 so if you wanna lose money go with boost mobile I'm very upset 0 stars.
Answer: I hope so. I want to join. Its not right how they steal money from hardworking people like me.
Answer: You can contact them, but do not bother, they all are trained to act like they know what they are doing but in reality they DO NOT CARE!
Answer: They are worthless. I would not ever recommend them. While their promotions are legit, their service quality sucks.
Answer: Need to change phone to another PHONE. My phone was stolen
Answer: Metro by Tmobile is definitely a step up from Boost. As with all cell phone companies in the store or on line make sure you check out reviews like You Tube before you purchase.
