Brand new textbook out of the package. Didn't use it for the semester so I decided to sell. It was a single sheet textbook so I bought a binder for it to ship it in. Was quoted $68 for it. Literally was in perfect condition. Get an email saying the quote was changed to $25 for water damage. The picture is so blurry if the book you can't even see anything wrong with it. This is insane. They alter books to pay a cheaper price.

They are okay - nothing horribly wrong, but I do very strongly disagree with their reduction in offer on a book sold to them, because it was rendered "poor condition" when it absolutely WAS NOT in poor condition. Furthermore, it was wrapped very carefully inside a waterproof envelope and set inside an appropriate-sized box to ensure safe shipping. I'm not inclined to use them again because of this most recent interaction. But moving forward, I will make a point in the future with any other book trade/sell service to take pictures of textbooks before shipping.

I sent a brand new in package book with matching ISBN numbers. I did not delay in shipping; I sent the book the next day. I have received an email from this entity telling me the book is worth ZERO and I need to pay $9 to have it returned. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Moreover, after chatting with them and emailing them I still haven't received a response.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE! They might be cheap, but be prepared to sacrifice your time chasing them down when THEY make a mistake.

I am very upset and disappointed. I placed a rental textbook in May for my summer term course. It's July, I never received the textbook. My summer class ended. Also, I recently got charged for "extending" the textbook. I have contacted costumer service multiple times and the issue still has not been solved. I suggest to rent textbooks some where safe and with better costumer service. I want a full refund for the textbook rental and for the additional charges.

I gave my ISBN number to the website and was quoted $56, my book was in very good condition. Once I mailed it to them and the book was in their possession they told me because it is a loose leaf edition it is only worth $2.50. If you are considering doing business with book run please do not save yourself the trouble sell your book someplace else.

I used sellbackyourbook.com, ziffit, powells, texbookrush and ecampus no more. Ecampus is the worst of them all. Booksrun is the best. Booksrun pays the best and they don't dump your cart or lower the prices on you. They are the only trader that uses USPS. The other ones mentioned want you to schlep your heavy books to ups or fedx. Booksrun is my preferred trading partner. Please don't change a thing

I bought a book from this company and also had to return 1. It would be nice if you could create a wallet within the in the website to return books and use that money towards a new book. I was unable to find this anywhere and had to purchase a book and now have to wait for a check is a check to be mailed.

The item I purchased from Booksrun arrived in the mail damaged on numerous surfaces and had multiple indentations in the both covers. I attempted to resolve the matter with customer service from Booksrun but was given the runaround and communicating with them took forever. All said and done, even speaking with and executive level customer service; communication took triple the amount of time back and forth when and if she did decide to respond to my emails. Reimbursement was agreed upon but never received. I would never use this business nor recommend them to anyone... ever!

Sent in an estimated 280.00 book sell (14 books). They stated 5 of my books were counterfeit and had to be investigated. The books were purchased through amazon and looked exactly like everyone else books in class, so honestly unsure if counterfeit and not sure how I would know otherwise. 4 days after initial email about counterfeit books my account was deactivated and I was notified that I would not receive any of my books back or any payment and they were now the property of Booksrun. I sent in 14 books that they can now resell for straight profit. 0/10, do not recommend.

This is possibly a scam. I sold them a textbook, used but in decent condition. Originally quoted $25 for (which I felt was already a low price... but you know how that goes). After they received it they changed my offer to $10. I could then choose to accept the new offer or pay $8.95 to have the book returned to me. Won't be using again.

So far so good. I am hoping to receive my check in the mail anytime. This was a great option for me to make some extra money. I sent in my old textbooks that I was not using anymore and were just sitting there ready to collect dust and changed them into cash!

Absolutely do not use this company. I sent books on April 25th. They received my item on April 29th. It is now June 7th and I do not have a check yet. I called last week and spoke to Oleg. He assured me I would have this resolved in 1-2 business days. Heard nothing. I called again yesterday and got Oleg. I said the same thing and he tried to say 1-2 business days. I said I wanted an email follow up saying that we spoke because this was the 2nd time he was saying he would solve my issue. The email I then received was shocking. It was a picture of the outside of my package and a picture of a wrapped t-shirt next to it. The email stated that I sent them a t-shirt, not books. That there was nothing they could do and I should contact my post office. Absolutely disgusting. I still have my receipt from the post office and the package weighed 3 pounds. A t-shirt does not weigh 3 pounds. It's really not even about the money. I wasn't getting much for them. It's the point that they stole from me, accused me of lying, and still have my items with no compensation. Save yourself.

I took photos of each the books that I was selling back. They sent me a photo showing water damage of only one of the books. Of course it was the book of highest value. I received video from them opening the box of books, The video shows no signs of water damage on the box or the book in question. I would definitely not sell books back to this company as this is the second time this has happened (which is why I took photos of each and every book that was sent back).
