My delivery was 2 days late of what was the expected delivery date. Also some of my books came damged, with rips in the pages or the covers half bent.
Was looking for a Birthday gift for my grand son and came across Book outlet, to my surprise, they have lots of toys and books for young children and the price are very reasonable compared to big stores like, toysR us or Mastermind. I have now ordered from Book Outlet a few times and while I always expect some variation in the condition of the books in my order, there have now been a few issues where the condition is less-than-desirable. Several titles have arrived with folded covers, or quite dirty. While I do understand that the purpose is to clear out overstock, I wish there was a tiered option or a way that I could pay a few dollars and ensure that only books in good condition were received (many that I have purchased are near-pristine). I realize I'm dreaming here though and I will, nonetheless, be ordering again in the future.
Processing my order was a little slow, but shipping was super fast! Books in great shape and cheaper than many other places. I would recommend buying from them and will definitely order again.

The discounted overstock books on Book Outlet are a great option to bookstores where full-priced books can be very expensive and therefore inaccessible to people like me with smaller budgets. No, Book Outlet may not have every book nor the latest books, but if you don't mind the wait and the hunt for books on your to-be-read list, it's worth it. I have found so many books on my TBR, and the prices are amazing (1/3 to half or even less than the cover price).
Most of the books I've ordered have been in great condition with the exception of a couple of lightly damaged books and one book I bought that arrived with a different cover than the one I originally ordered. But I didn't mind -- the readability of the books were not effected. I would suggest packing the books a little better though, so they don't get damaged in transit.
Speaking of, the wait for the order is not too bad -- only 1-2 weeks. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchases from BookOutlet.ca.
