I've exhausted the selection of my local library but refuse to pay $20+ for a book. Book depot has an excellent selection with fair prices.

Ordered on Nov 30...Christmas gifts in parcel. Still haven't received it.

I was able to purchase many Christmas gifts for the holidays including crafts, puzzles and books for many children as well as adults. Great titles and options

My Mom is a voracious reader and loves the feel of a book in her hands. For a few years now, I order a box of thriller, mystery, and suspense books for her special occasions. Ordering is easy, selection and prices are terrific, and the free delivery is usually within a week. It's fabulous!

Books are a priced reasonably. You can wait til the best sellers are off the best selling list and get them at a good price.

I bought 6 books for under $40 just ahead of Christmas. I want sure if they would arrive in time but they were in my doorstep within 3 working days!

I was able to get 3 books all for the less than the original price of just one of the books! They have lots of great titles and authors to choose from, and the books came in great condition!

I ordered like 30 something books and, obviously, it was divided into 2 orders. The first half was delivered within 2ish weeks (normal where I am with USPS) but the second half had been in my area for nearly a month with no updates in shipping. I had contacted USPS, but they're INCREDIBLY busy and they said they would look for it, but chances are it was lost.

I contacted customer service and within about 4 hours they had gotten back to me and offered me a credit card refund, a credit back, or the option to resend the books that they had in stock and refund the ones they didn't have in stock anymore.

Within a week I had the in stock books and a credit back. I really appreciate how quickly they addressed and fixed the issue I had. Needless to say, I will be a returning customer.

Books were good but upon review they charged both taxes in Ontario when it should have been 5%. When reached out to customer service they indicated activities kits should be charged both taxes which I'm ok with. I had one activity kit and 7 books but they didn't adjust the tax amount until I indicated it's bylaw to only charge 5% in Ontario as other places Indigo charge one tax for exact books I've bought. Maybe they made a mistake for taxes but for customer service to indicate I should be charged for both is ridiculous.

Love the books I got but the shipping took forever.

I first ordered on Nov 29th. The delivery was scanned into Toronto on Dec 5th which is where it is still sitting. I called and was told to wait, eventually called back again afraid my order was lost and this time a great young man took my call and agreed the order was likely lost and placed a new order which I actually received in 4 days.

Easy to find what I was looking for. Great price. Prompt delivery.

Finding The Book Outlet has been a game changer for me. I love books, and am one of those people that needs to have a book if I really like it, so I can re-read. Pretty much every book I've bought thus far has been in great shape. I don't love the little marks on the books but it's why the prices are so accessible so it's definitely worth a tiny dot. I've been able to buy way more books for myself and daughter at these prices, and you're saving these books from ending up in a landfill. It's really a win, win, win. I will continue to buy from the Book Outlet, and I recommend the business to all my friends.

Great selection of books, especially childrens' books and it's not hard to fill my cart with options! :)

I was relatively happy with BookOutlet for quite a while, but the last two orders took forever to ship, shipping method they used took forever to make it to west coast, and the books in both orders were completely damaged. They don't ship with any sort of protection (they just throw all the books you order in a flimsy box with one strip of tape) and so if the books aren't heavily damaged coming from the warehouse already (which many are) they get torn apart in the shipment. And now they don't answer customer service emails and their phone goes to a full voicemail system that tells you to email them. So if you want to return one of your torn apart books, there's no way to do it without going through your credit card company. On my order before the most recent I managed to get in touch with someone via the customer service number, and she told me she'd "do me a favor this one time" and help me with the return! Wow, a customer service rep considers helping a customer with a return of a damaged book a "favor"?

Done. I'll pay the excess and order from Amazon- at least if the book is damaged, the return is effortless and the customer service agents don't treat you like you are imposing on them when you ask for help. I was ordering tons of books from BookOulet, and I wouldn't ever order from them again.

Best place to buy books! The prices are unbeatable and the shipping is fast. I love the selection of kids books.
