Useless

I booked a stay through booking.com and had issues with the hotel and booking.com did absolutely nothing to help. I tried going through other avenues but everyone else kept saying that I needed to contact booking.com since that is who I booked through and they told me to contact the hotel that they were not able to help. I will never use that site again. Priceline and booking are affiliated so I won't be using priceline either.

Warning for bad customer care and overcharging

Warning! Booking.com is charging its customers even though there was clearly a technical error in their app! Early on, Booking had fantastic customer service, but I now want to warn everyone that nowadays they don't care about their customers! I was going to book a hotel, got a message that it was not possible to book the hotel, so I booked another hotel. Imagine my surprise when the first hotel was booked anyway. When I contacted Booking.com customer service, they forced me to pay for BOTH hotel rooms, they referred to if any hotel canceled I could get the money back. The hotel didn't want to cancel, so I had to pay for TWO hotel rooms the same night. I even offered to stay in one of the hotels the next day but Booking still let me pay for both rooms. I stay about 150 nights a year in hotels, am a Level 3 member but it didn't matter! I emailed for two whole days, with Booking.com and the hotels, which took a lot of time from my trip.

I own an IT company. When we develop apps we always have error logs, where every error message is saved. According to Booking.com support they don't have that. If they had it could have been proven that there was an error message shown to me.

If you are in a hurry, or if you are up in Kiruna and Ice hotel, where hotels quickly is sold out, you clearly can't trust that the app that Booking.com is providing is showing correct information. You can definitely not trust Booking.com's customer care to correct anything if there was an error - even if you contact Booking.com directly after the error was presented.

For a long time ago Booking.com had great customer care, but sadly Booking.com nowadays have horrible customer care.

I want to warn other users about Booking.com and that their customer service nowadays does not care about their customers!

Not return money after many calls

I used booking.com to book hotel for my family at Tobermory. The hotel allows us to cancel because of working construction. Booking.com never return me the money, despite of my many phone calls to customer service. Dont use it.

Booked an apartment with the right to change the check-in date. Unfortunately they could not reach the hotel, so they decided not to help us to change the check-in date or find another solution. This is important because we made a mistake with the booking date. This will cost me €730, it is even more crazy because I can see on their website that the apartment is still available on the date I requested to change it to.
Don't book with Booking.com their costumer service is worthless!

Don't trust Booking.com

I booked a room and in their app it showed free cancellation and included breakfast, because I booked this place by mistake I canceled that in 5 minutes, but they changed my whole reservation, they said it was non refundable and the hotel charged me the whole amount after a month, also my reservation was for 2 adults it changed to 4 adults and 3 kids with no meal... I couldn't believe it... I called the several times they didn't do anything, I deleted my account specially removed my credit card information cause they are not trustable... I asked all my family and friends do the same, you can see what it's showing on app when you want to reserve

A company that is disrespectful to its customers. I have the right to $1,000 that they have from the airline, returned from a month and 10 days, and so far they have not paid them to me. This company will declare bankruptcy. I think that is why it did not pay the customers.I do not advise anyone to cooperate with this company that is not responsible for people's money nor for its respect for them

They are a rip off

I book with Booking.com and the hotel super 7 Churchland would not allow me to check in and they took my money. BOOKING couldn't even contact them because that sorry hotel wouldn't even respond to their emails. Booking allowed that hotel to take my money and they did nothing. They keep saying we are sorry this happened and it's unacceptable but they did not help at all. Do not deal with Booking because it's a weak organization that can't even contact Management at Hotels and get a refund back.i am so disappointed. I warned you guys, Please beware!

Absolute robbery!

I purchased an airline ticket and accidentally entered the wrong airport code. Even though I purchased a flexible ticket they would not change the destination to the correct one. I was off by one letter but over a thousand miles. Never again.

Scam company

You have no chance to get your money back if anything goes wrong. These folks should be in jail or strung up by their feet. If you are dumb enough to book anything through them, you have to make sure you can stand to lose the money if anything goes wrong.

My partner booked the wrong flight date. Human error. She realised 5 minutes later and phoned Booking.com. A full refund is supposed to be due if you phone within 24 hours, even if the tickets are non-refundable. However, Booking.com did not honour that and are instead shafting my partner for the full amount. She is a long-term customer of Booking.com, but we will both not now be using them again.

No-show fiasco

We booked a hotel called la Mirada outside Ronda in Spain with booking.com but failed to find it. The access shown on the map was on an extremely narrow and nasty road - we asked four people if they knew where la Mirada was. None could help. We rang the hotel three times and only got a recorded message. It now transpires that the hotel was not at the location shown on booking.coms map - not unusual but irritating - and what was worse it went under a different name - something that was never suggested by booking.com. Finally at 5pm in January had to give up and seek rooms elsewhere. We e-mailed booking to say we had failed to locate the property only for them to send a reply that we were no show. Our credit card had been charged under the name Hacienda d l Muelos. Further reading of reviews shows that scores of other travellers had the same problem. But when we sought redress from booking.com we were fobbed off. Not their responsibility it seems to provide accurate information. Why didnt you phone us? But another 'agent' said they had had problems getting a response, and the hotel manager didnt speak much English, but we should ring the hotel to try to get a refund. Meanwhile the misinformation remains on booking.com's website. We have made several hundred bookings with booking/com but never again. They have got too big and too automated and too complacent.

Fake hotel confirmation got through booking.com

After booking hotel through booking.com and got room confirmed after reaching to hotel gowtham coimbatore
Receptionist rejected my booking told that don't trust the confirmation from booking.com I should call to hotel for confirmation.
Very bad experience.

It's a scam

I recently booked a motel room in Hollywood, FL for 9 days through Booking.com. It was a disgusting, filthy place. Within 1 hr of checking in i contacted Booking.com and explained the situation. They acted like they were sympathetic and would help get a refund, I now realize this was simply lip service. They acted like they too were appalled by the condition of this room. I should have looked at legitimate booking companies and their reviews for this place. Seems like this place has had many bad reviews elsewhere. I'd strongly suggest using another booking agent and NOT Booking.com. They will leave you high and dry. I've attempted to leave my review of the Mariner motel on Booking.coms website. But it seems I've been blocked from doing so!

I found out on my holiday location, it was a fake location. I was being cheated by hackers on their website. By applying the phishing nethod, they knew how to retrieve my creditcard data by contacting ne via WhatsApp with a fake profile receptionist. My money was transferred to a cryptocurrency platform Rintal. My bank won't refund it, because they consider these transaction as legal in the agreement they have with Mastercard. Off course the transaction data won't reveal the merchant. Would any thief identify himself? But this is something they require for refunding. Which is totally contradictory. The interaction between customer support and a not probably fraude team is completely passive. There is no case owner at all, managing these issues where you need to send the same information repeatedly every time you contact them. Today I forced customer support but this reaction says it all. I am going to consult legal support, but never book a trip with them.

YOUR FEES ARE INSANE!

I tried to reserve a 1 bedroom condo on the beach for 4 nights in PCB, FL.
The cost of the room was $1155 (not too bad,right?). AFTER all of your ridiculous fees, the total was over 2K!
Ya'll in the business of robbing people? No, thanks! I'll just go to Mexico ALL INCLUSIVE for 7 nights for the same cost! Get the heck outta here!

Please don't buy the any ticket from Booking

I bought a hotel and flight from the Booking 4 months ago for this February, and they didn't pay any money to the hotel, and the hotel asked me to pay because we didn't get money from booking, when I called the Booking, nobody was responsible for answering us; I have my confirmation number and own pin code. They $#*!ing still the money from the client's already losing my time and money
