Opening an account for selling on Bonanza is a waste of time. Bonanza will make false promises to get you to sign up, but none of their promises are true. First it is not free, if you want some business you will have to spend some cash, they claim they have the best customer service, I do not know who rates them but by our experience we just could communicate with a person. It is not easy to open an account and if you bought items to sell, you may as well start looking at other sites or make a garage sell because nothing will sell. I opened my account at the same time a friend of mine opened his and we ended up with the results, NO sales. Now my friend and I when we talk about Bonanza not to confuse then with our favorite TV show we call them the "NO BONANZA" NO TRAFFIC - NO SALES - NO INCOME - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
My DVD is 2mths late & after being asked to ‘wait longer' 3 times I asked for a refund. The seller Attillio, with the email madmusickid emailed me this… "It is only a few dollars, I will give you the refund, I was rather hoping you would wait because I know you will receive it, so now you get a free DVD, late but free. However we will not accept any new orders from you in future"
I had waited for 2 MONTHS! Well Attillio, me and about 150 of my friends who buy online will NOT be using such a rude & deplorable seller! I'd give MINUS stars if I could
I tried to exit this site some months ago they have not acted on my request to do so and I cannot see the cancel option in other options
I will say that when I had opened an account with this company that I was hoping for a better experience. I was so wrong to assume that, some time last week (writing this on the 5th of May), I made an account, got paypal and everything set up and ready to go. I was setting a "booth," or a listing, and it made mention that it was for review and could take a couple of days. 3 or 4 day go by, and I try to log back in, which doing so led me back to the home page with the message, "logout successful." I was so confused by this and tried again and again, with the same message showing up. I tried resetting my password, which like most websites, requires you to go ahead and put your email down. I did so, and I had done so on Sunday, and nothing shows up in my inbox. I waited a couple of days, and contacted their support, and a few hours later I had received this, "Thank you for contacting us. Our system is preventing us from opening an account on Bonanza for you at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. It is our priority to keep Bonanza the safest possible marketplace for our buyers and sellers to use. Due to security restrictions, our team is unable to provide further details involved with this action.
Fortunately, we are able to recommend a few great alternatives such as ioffer(dot)com or ecrater.com, both of which have strong monthly traffic and a good base of buyers and sellers. EBid(dot)net is a good site for those who wish to deal in the auction format."
I was baffled and completely shocked, I then take to the internet today, to look this up and I had just found out that, this is what they send to those suspended, or deactivated. I had just barely set things up on their site, just about to make a listing, to just get banned for no reason explained, leaving it up to you to find your mistake through their guidelines. I'm not sure still what I have done, and I doubt they'll tell me (just tried to reach out on why this was the cause), but at least give a warning, that's all I ask. This really does drive me away from this site, and if it does for you, and if at all this is making you re-think this site, run while you can. Very interesting way to do business, best to use a different website, or you'll get the same fate I suppose.
Would not return calls or answer emails. Worst customer service I've encountered on the internet. I would not recommend this seller
I purchased what I thought was a case of something but was 1 can,(my fault for thinking it was legitimate.) Apparently it said one can but I was in disbelief that that price was not for a case of 12. Returned for a refund and it still cost me $20 for shipping both ways. For something that is less than $3 in the grocery store! Seller sold under the pretense that it was discontinued and valuable. I ended up getting 2 cases from Wal Mart! Each case was less than the 1 can I purchased. Will never purchase from here again.
Site is a total scam. Within minutes of my order I was told the seller was a fraud and had been removed then told to file a PayPal claim. I filed and bonanza claimed my product had been delivered (it had not) so my claim was denied. Scam artists, don't give them your money.
I just want to say for my first time using Bonanza it was the best most honest experience of my life. Thanks to my seller Tom for being honest and making this soooo easy. I bought an PlayStation 5 for my son from Tom and when I tell you he kept intouch through email, text, and phone calls letting me know my item would be late because of ice winter storn but soon as the storm subsides UPS will deliver. Ok the day he sent off my son ps5 he called me and given me personally tracking number recieved my son ps5 next day. My seller tom text me to make sure I recieved and thanked me for shopping and making it easy for him which he made it easy for me not to stress knowing theres so many scams out there. If your reading this review trust bonanza its a great company and their are awesome sellers working. I pray that everyone experience is as easy and awesome as mine. Thanks again Tom and thanks bonanza for everything.
I ordered an item for my daughter's birthday and received a message from the seller that the never received an invoice showing I paid for the item and that they would have to charge me an additional $8.50 for shipping. I emailed the seller back with the invoice # and amount I paid. I never heard back from them. I emailed Bonanza customer service asking for a refund, who directed me to a PayPal site to make a complaint to start the refund process. You can't get on the site! In other words, they stole my money. Do not order from this site! Absolutely awful! It's a scam in my opinion! Not even 1 star.
I have been listing items for sale on Ebay for over 20 years, and very rarely had any issue with their format. I left Ebay as a seller due to their ever increasing and imposing ridiculous rules, like holding my payment for three weeks until buyer approves of item received, even though my rating was 100%. NOBODY holds my payment for three weeks. I signed up for Bananza.com, and it has been a listing nightmare. Their webmaster is either a moron or from another planet, because their format for selling is absurdly disorganized and most confusing. Responses from their support team were even more confusing, and no help at all. Today, after weeks of trying to list an item, I threw in the towel. Perhaps you will have better luck, but I have no more time to waste with them.
I was sold fraudulent items from one of their sellers. As a company they offer ZERO customer support and tell you to work it out with the seller, despite the fact that I was deceived and sold items that were not as listed. After countless emails between the myself and the company and myself and the seller I was able to get a refund for the fraudulent items. I had to pay over $25 in shipping out of my own pocket to return the items. I do not recommend shopping with this service, they provide no support should a transaction go wrong. Many hours and dollars wasted on my end. I would give zero starts if I could.
If I could rate no stars I would. I ordered a license plate cover a year ago. Many emails and promises later it was too late to get a refund. They literally told me to "be patient" four months after I ordered my license plate frame. My reference # was *******
I signed up to sell on Bonanza on the 26th of December 2020 by the 19th of January 2021; my account was closed with no explained reason(s). Although I was already selling on their platform, the email from Judy stated "our system is preventing us from opening an account for you at this time". I read many reviews about their abrupt suspension, but I did not believe it until I became a victim! I made four sales within 3weeks and paid all the requested fees. It was a shame that Bonanza acted this way.
I will advise potential sellers to have a back-up plan for their eCommerce store as Bonanza is VERY UNRELIABLE! So disappointed.
Purchased diamond painting via Bonanza Market place, took over a month to receive. The quality was terrible, you can't see the letters most are in black the canvas is very thin and missing glue in many spots. I was missing 3 colors of dots and to buy from a craft store. I didn't want to wait another month to receive them. I won't waste my time buying from this seller again. Very poor quality!
If you are just curious about the features, or just getting started selling. Steer clear. This site is for established businesses. No service is free on Bonanza. I will not use them again.
Not secure place to buy. Would loose your money and time. Bought the bracelet from USA to UK the seller sent me completely different item. No refund, nothing. When I asked why he sent my wrong item he responded that other one was finished... but on his website still was picture with those what I was ordered and was marked as available. Its means he would cheat with the next customer who would order this item "which is finished ".
My first and only experience with Bonanza was after being harassed and verbally attacked over a rightfully negative review of a seller. After being harassed for several days by the seller IEWarehouse I contacted Bonanza to hopefully put it into it. I waited several days to hear back from Bonanza only to tell me there is nothing they can do about the harassment. This is how they treat their buyers. I prefer to stick with shopping at Etsy.
My thera spa massager is aging and cord is not working properly so I bought the same product here. No matter how high I turn the speed up, the speed is very low. I pressed the turbo button and nothing happened, the didn't get any stronger. Then putting it on high, with the turbo button on and "maximum" speed, still nothing happened. I'm extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in this product!

Answer: Ebay. I always get great customer service from ebay... as a seller. Bonanza provides no customer service; if you have an issue, they just keep sending the same "canned" response over and over... and I had one sale on Bonanza for which they charged me a 17% fee... then they took $25 more out of my bank account... I have addressed both of these issues with Bonanza... Regarding the huge 17% fee... they sent me about seven (7) of the same "canned" response. I wanted a lesser % fee since their website claims they always charge the "lowest fee possible"... just one "canned" response after another... If they would have offered a more reasonable % fee in order to provide me with satisfactory customer service. I would have been satisfied; but they did not... after the seventh "canned" response... I closed my booth... And NOW... EVEN WORSE... they took an additional $25.00 out of my bank account... and for what I have no idea. I called the phone number which was listed with the transaction on my bank account and of course got a recording. I left my information, and it has been four days... and still no response. When you call ebay, you speak to a live person who works to solve your concerns... I HATE BONANZA... and you would think that BONANZA would not want RIDICULOUSLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS... but they do not care. I moved all my ebay items to Bonanza to see if it was a better experience than ebay... ebay's fees are 10%... and they have a much larger shopping audience... and they have real customer service people that you can talk to. Bonanza has a much smaller shopping audience, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and their goal appears to be to charge sellers the most enormous fees that they can get away with. I never get online to post negative reviews... I generally get online to post about great customer service and great products... I like to keep things on the POSITIVE... but this is just not possible with BONANZA... they are like a Phantom Selling Platform... totally disgusted. I will be reporting BONANZA to the BBB and to the US Attorney General's Office. Very disappointing experience.

Answer: I set up my account with Bonanza and their platform is pretty much the same as setting up an account with eBay, Etsy, Amazon, etc. What problems are you having?
Answer: I have never seen any benefit to paying extra for advertising. Bonanza just doesnt do it like ebay does. Have you ever seen a Bonanza ad on TV? Nope. And therein lies the problem. Nobody will shop there if they havent heard of it. True many sellers are leaving ebay (or sadly being kicked off by the BS) but nearly everyone goes to Bonanza to SELL not to buy.
