Notice how all of the low ratings have the same response from Bonanza about their BBB rating? Looks like an algorithm that monitors the site and auto-responds... That's just the kind of customer care people want... So glad I checked this out before purchasing. I looked at another review site also where the responses were tailored to the complaint but still clearly copy and paste replies. Overall the shear amount of negative feedback say enough.
It's super hard to sell items on this site. They only voting on the best websites to the seller that they think still might like the site. It's way to hard to sell items on this site because there a bunch of cheap owners that refuse to advertise the site because they want you to pay a way high percentage by joining there advertising programs. They lie about it bringing you 3x or 5x as many item sells. It's a flat out lie and they should be thrown in jail for b it. If you ask them why if there better than sliced bred they don't take pride in the company and advertise it so all your members can sell more items they will pull the rug from under your booth. It's complete B. S since you invested $50,000; in your booth and you have the right to know why they aren't advertising there site and lie about the high priced fees with them. Your better to do a shopify store or your own online store because you can easily can sell just as much on your site as you can on this $#*! bag site because most your sells come from Google shopping. The only thing good about bonanza is the designers did a great job designing it and making it to use. The CEO is a girly face son of a beep and getting good customer service is hard. It's a pain in the arse getting your sellers fees on here if some one returns something. I give them a big thumbs down just like ebay. Same corperate fake people under a different umbrella. So don't bother with this horrible site that shouldn't be in the rankings of online market places. There pissing yellow rain on Seattle so don't give them any b respect because theere a fake unethical company that will lie and cheat people out of money to make a product and provide horrible servic.
Oh how I regret not googling "Bonanza reviews" before spending hundreds of dollars on a bag that never came. No response from seller or site, please stick with Ebay or outlet. I had to leave a review to help potential victims from being scammed.

Edited to add: Funny Bonanza will respond to negative reviews posted online through a third-party site before they respond to customer service request on their own website. This just goes to show that they are more worried about looking good than actually providing good service.

Signed up as a seller, traffic was minimal with limited actual sales. Then one day, I get five notices of bid cancellations one right after the other over 5 minuets. Strange I got no bid notice, just these cancellations, so I attempt to log into my account, can't! Several attempts, nothing, contact customer service.
Day later I get a form email, an algorithm determined my booth was high risk, so they CANCELLED my account, closed my booth and its within their terms to be able to.
I write back, How can this be, my booth had little to no activity, sales were minor, basically a no hassle customer, another day goes by, same form email, not even the courtesy of real person's reply.
It was an outlet but not that big of a deal, but then I come to find out that many, many buyer's have had issues purchasing an item, paying then not receiving the item, not being able to contact the seller or no reply or booth closed, with no help from Bonanza.
Then I see the light, I had one high end item on my site, collectible one of a kind at $2500. I'm assuming it sold, they got the funds, closed my booth and now the seller is out there with nothing, thinking I ripped him/her off, when its the site.
I think this scam has been going on for some time, and no one is wise due to the sheer size and the reluctance to people to go through the hassle. Friends. Blow the whistle on these guys, if you get ripped off file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Board, the FTC and your state's attorney general. Only way this will be solved, the internet is not a hole, there is someone at the other in Washington manipulating the system to rip you off! I've done my part, now you do yours, don't take it!

I ordered a product that I was not happy with. The site, and seller, we're courteous and expeditiously apologized. I received a refund right away to my PayPal account. I will definitely use again.
I submitted an offer to Linda Zeagler for a bag she was selling. I got no response. I upped my offer to just a bit below the asking price. Again. No answer. I reached out to Bonanza's customer support TWICE and got no response either time. This is my second attempt using this site. My first time I purchased an item only to have to put a stop payment on it after 6 weeks because the seller never sent the item, never responded to e mails. TERRIBLE site, TERRIBLE sellers!

My first experience with Bonanza has not been good. Made my purchase, then got a confirmation of shipping the same day I made the purchase, I thought OK this seems good.
The next day I checked the tracking number and USPS said it wasn't legit... that; s when I started worrying. Days later, no merchandise so I e-mail the seller and get a robot response stating the product would arrive in 2-3 days, no tracking number given, no response to e-mails requesting one.
Forget any help from Bonanza, all you get is robot responses and leave a message if you call. I just put the charge in dispute with my Credit card company and will chalk this up to experience. Bonanza sucks.
Update, I finally received the merchandise which is Windows 7 on DVD. After getting the disc I called Microsoft to make sure it's legit and found that is was a valid key. I still will not ever do business with Bonanza again.

When I had an issue with a seller, this company washed their hands of the process and told me to dispute it with my credit card company. I believe there is an obligation when a company acts as an agent in a sale. They get paid, therefore they have a stake in the game, I will stay away from this company and let everyone I know to do the same.

I purchased a piece of furniture from a seller (nellydeals) instead of another source, only to get an email days later that they didn't actually have the item and it would be weeks or more to get it. Of course, by that time, the other seller had sold their item, so I am 'out of luck'. Selling things you don't have is unethical, besides being illegal. They say they are refunding my money, but that doesn't get me the furniture I could have gotten from someone else at the time they 'sold' me something.

On December 29,2015 ordered an item and never received it. Contacted the seller 2 times and no answer. Contacted Bonanza, still waiting for a reply. Now I am going to contact Paypal. I will tell everyone NOT to shop Bonanza.
End of January, PayPal recovered my money - as of yesterday 2/7/2016 Bonanza is sending emails trying to take credit for recovering the money. AND by the way, BBB does not help you at all. I also think that MARK D is not real!

Very bad experience. I purchased a printer, got email that printer was testing and good condition with all parts. Upon arrival the printer was in poor condition, black ink smudges all over, broken parts, not printing in color, trouble lights blinking, smelled light cigarettes, not picking paper, old piece of dried up letter sized paper in tray.
Contacted seller who proceeded to "attack" me and call me names. Numerous emails the seller sent me, erratic and random.
Contacted Bonanza help, did not reply, took a week, got email the case is close, asked why closed, why didn't they inform me, got a few more basically indifferent emails from Bonanza, then finally got a name "Gabby", could care less, told me to do what I already did and then contact PayPal.
Told them this is a Bonanza issue, not PayPal, told them I'm concerned for my safety due to the emails from the seller. Been a month now, they dropped the line.
Horrible company, lost in space, this was my first... and last experience with them. I think they are in a foreign country and are just getting by for a while. Their seller ratings are fake and can be imported, they even state that.

I purchased an iPhone case on 12/25/15 thru Bonanza. Unfortunately I paid thru paypal and the money is gone. There has been NO confirmation email about purchase from Bonanza or the seller, nor any shipping confirmation. I have sent emails to the seller and Bonanza. NO ANSWERS! And NO RESPONSES from either!
I will definitely be spreading the word to family and friends to NOT buy anything thru Bonanza! This site should NOT be able to stay in business! Such unreliable service!

No communication, no reply to emails. After I gave them a bad review they closed my account to prevent me from seeing any actions on my purchase They avoided giving me my money back.

I ordered from one of their sellers and only had his email. I called bonanza to get more information on the seller because I sent him several emails and nothing. The seller is Wylde, Inc. and still no response from either. I think they ate one and the same the way this is looking. I've lost $27 alreafy, no way to recover if you can't get a hold of a person. WARNING Never purchase anything without actually contacting the seller first. It's a bad sign when you hear nothing back from a seller.
I think this is another scam personally.

Answer: Ebay. I always get great customer service from ebay... as a seller. Bonanza provides no customer service; if you have an issue, they just keep sending the same "canned" response over and over... and I had one sale on Bonanza for which they charged me a 17% fee... then they took $25 more out of my bank account... I have addressed both of these issues with Bonanza... Regarding the huge 17% fee... they sent me about seven (7) of the same "canned" response. I wanted a lesser % fee since their website claims they always charge the "lowest fee possible"... just one "canned" response after another... If they would have offered a more reasonable % fee in order to provide me with satisfactory customer service. I would have been satisfied; but they did not... after the seventh "canned" response... I closed my booth... And NOW... EVEN WORSE... they took an additional $25.00 out of my bank account... and for what I have no idea. I called the phone number which was listed with the transaction on my bank account and of course got a recording. I left my information, and it has been four days... and still no response. When you call ebay, you speak to a live person who works to solve your concerns... I HATE BONANZA... and you would think that BONANZA would not want RIDICULOUSLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS... but they do not care. I moved all my ebay items to Bonanza to see if it was a better experience than ebay... ebay's fees are 10%... and they have a much larger shopping audience... and they have real customer service people that you can talk to. Bonanza has a much smaller shopping audience, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and their goal appears to be to charge sellers the most enormous fees that they can get away with. I never get online to post negative reviews... I generally get online to post about great customer service and great products... I like to keep things on the POSITIVE... but this is just not possible with BONANZA... they are like a Phantom Selling Platform... totally disgusted. I will be reporting BONANZA to the BBB and to the US Attorney General's Office. Very disappointing experience.

Answer: I have never seen any benefit to paying extra for advertising. Bonanza just doesnt do it like ebay does. Have you ever seen a Bonanza ad on TV? Nope. And therein lies the problem. Nobody will shop there if they havent heard of it. True many sellers are leaving ebay (or sadly being kicked off by the BS) but nearly everyone goes to Bonanza to SELL not to buy.
