The phone support is terrible, I have a web site that has been down for weeks and still not resolved, they need this, they need that, wait, wait, call, no one speaks english, on and on

Things keep happening to my service that bluehost does not know the answer for and they all have to be escalated because first tier customer service does not have the answers. For instance my constant contact auto renewal was turned off yesterday. For months our emails have been blocked because of SPF DKIM issues and bluehost says are settings are not getting pushed. Also, our website went down a few months ago an customer service gave us the complete run around saying they couldn't understand why.

Bluehost has the worst customer service. You get different answers depending on who you talk to. They make very little effort to resolve issues. And, even when the issue was of their own making, they do nothing.
My tier 2 ticket got canceled because I did not respond within 2 hours... it was not specified anywhere within the email or anywhere on the Bluehost website that I needed to respond within 2 hours. Then everytime I called to talk about my issue, I spent over 40 minutes on hold during the whole duration of my call with no resolution.
Even I can use the website and I am not tech savvy!

Bluehost does a great job. I'm about to move my own biz site, and those of my customers who want less expensive, but robust hosting over here.
Your upgrades frequently break the site and for the current issue no one seems to have a fix. Time to move the site.
Not enough information about registration. Are my domains registered or not?
It's frustrating trying to log in; my credentials are not being recognised. MAny many attempts.
Being told THREE times that an authentication TXT record has correctly been done and it has not!
It is not sign of a professional webhosting service to alert me that my personal information is not protected. If you request my personal details they should be automoatically protected without asking me to pay for their protection.
Once the chat was ended, it wouldn't turn off on my screen and i couldn't log off the account
Also, when renew, it appears auto-renew is auto set. I coudn't turn it off. Totally screw up.
Mysql version has been stuck on an old versions and admins cant seem to get it upgraded rendering my site to be down for a long while.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
