Connecting with a tech was slow, but he did a good job.
The bluehost product is the worse I have ever used. It is terrible, never works, totally unstable in operation, nothing is easy to do, everything is painful.
Although the LIVE support option has been excellent, I feel that there is a problem with BH and its' continued warning pop-ups about our website and domain security. We have already contacted BH about this issue and it is unresolved
Changing from User Email to User ID for login without warning was not a fun experience when I needed to make a quick change on my website. Also, the forced upsell screen every time I log in is pretty annoying. Please give me an option to opt out of receiving that pop-up every time I log in.
Had a problem with Bluehost technical advice because I changed my password in Bluehost and outlook emails would not work. They told me it was an outlook problem and not something they did. I hired a computer expert and he tracked down the problem to the changed mail password on bluehost. He also said they should have known to fix it. Next I decided to migrate my hosting to Go Daddy. Big problem. When I contacted bluehost who was hosting the site they said that ENOM had the password for migration. I called ENOM and they said the authorization code was with IPAGE/ owned by Bluehost. Called back to bluehost and somehow my website no longer worked. Called I page and they said they would send the authorization code. It has been 2 weeks, numerous phone calls and still no authorization code and website is a mess, which they say is not their fault. Funny thing is it worked for 12 years before I called them to migrate. Horrible experience.
As a new user, I am wildly confused! Based on your information, I thought it would be easy to get a website up and running. All I get is notices advising me to upgrade!
Bluehost has worked well for me. A web designer once told me that Bluehost was unstable and he refused to help me with some coding because I was using it for hosting. But I haven't found that to be true. Seems solid. I've also enjoyed one of your webinars and the customer service there is very good. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. I scored you a 4 (because I rarely give top stars), but that 4 should really be a 4.5. You're doing a great job.
The site was down for 2 whole weeks. When I contacted a representative, she told me it was due to site maintenance. There was no communication the site was undergoing maintenance from walls part.
I have been struggling with getting satisfactory customer with my email account since renewing over a month ago. The migration process has can't seen to done correctly, my email does not work and I have been charged an additional sum for the process...
I am frustrated
Unresolved issue and access to my Hosting Account and 5 websites for over a week. False promises and no real live technical support. You can all talk to someone to forward a question to them. You can't request a call back from the true technical support or call them. Blue Host lost the Website hosting Tab on my account and NO one has a clue.
My user name was changed without my authorization.
Finding things seems cumbersome. It feels like you're trying to upsell things every time I try to manage my sites.
This sucks i have an issue and your hotline is useless
Service has been inconsistent and frustrating. Not intuitive. The assistance they offered for over $160 per month was very good before they changed platforms going from Blue Sky to Bluehost. It was obvious that there was a reorganization because the level of communication and getting to the right department became exhaustive. Wordpress is not easy. I was very disappointed to observe the service going from excellent to sub par. Had to cancel. Nevertheless they host my website and getting in to edit has changed for the worse.
Hard to communicate with you. Long wait times and disconnected often.
I am just out here spinning my wheels. Hours and hours of getting nothing done. I can't find a theme that I like, nor can I see what I am doing. I have been at this for months. I want and elegant, professional website with the following pages: About, Blog, Contact, Events and Shop.
What I don't want is to spend any more time jumping through hoops. I am also very confident that this message will just end up in the cyber forever world.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
