The plan I selected included one free website migration. After 5 hours on the phone with 4 different BlueHost technicians, I was told that if I wanted help migrating my site, the fees were START at $149. I changed from GoDaddy just for this reason. I am in the process of rebuilding my site without the promised assistance.

I've had nothing but problems with bluehost ever since I bought my package. Now that I've fixed the malware issue I still cannot access my website to work on it. Paid approximately 100 dollars, and haven't been able to enjoy bluehost.

My server was severely attacked by malware. It had huge impact on my business. Frequent server down, slow downs. I am still struggling to get my websites work after the malware attack.

I can't seem to get any of the domains to work through what I'm trying to do. I've tried transferring the domain. I've tried redirecting the domain. I just cannot get it to host the websites that I create to end up deleting websites. I continuously have a message from cloudflare saying that they can get the info from cloudflare to bluehost. The support every time I talk to somebody always sound like they're incredibly pissed off and they don't wanna deal with whatever it is I'm trying to deal with. Fact is I don't want to deal with it. But that's why I'm calling support. And then also I don't know if I just don't articulate what I'm trying to say or or achieve appropriately or clearly enough, because it always seems like they have no idea what I am talking about. AnyWho maybe one day I'll get my website up and rolling and finally making money probably a lot going through someone else though because it just seems like I'm having nothing but problems with blue host.
The respond time is very poor and problems in start
1. I've never felt so frustrated in my life. I've paid for website builder pro which includes woocommerce but already have a domain with Godaddy. There should be a clear step by step process, beginning at the beginning, to help you set up domain assignation or transfer, website, store and the free plugins that are part of the plan. Yes, there are informative help pages but you don't know which to read or what sequence to read them in and go round in circles trying to find the first step in the process.
2. If you're a novice at setting up a website, it's difficult to understand the interface between the website builder and the wordpress dashboard and how and when to use each of them in the set up process.
3. All of the different Bluehost names for plans are hugely confusing. I have 'website builder pro' but there's also 'website builder' and other plans with 'pro ' in the title so I'm very confused about pricing.
4. Pricing is in dollars, not pounds sterling, despite Bluehost being more than happy to take my pounds sterling in payment. I now have no idea how I even found the price in pounds in the first place.
5. I'm wondering if I should transfer my domain to Bluehost rather than assign it but have no idea how much it will cost compared to my plan with Godaddy. This is the same for 365 email essentials. Prices are all in dollars.
6. In my first week of set up, the web servers went down for at least 8 hours and I couldn't even log in. I gave up after 8 hours so they could have been down longer.
7. When buying Bluehost, I didn't realise there are only servers in the US, so if they go down, there are no backups. I'm also concerned about the impact this will have on my site speed when (and if) I eventually do get a website up and running.
If I could have given zero stars, I would have done.
These are the early days, but whatever I have seen so far, I am disappointed.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
