Un explained delays in send/receive cycle get annoying
I had to restart my whole website on WordPress as Bluehost didn't have the simple overlay feature for the carousel section, which I needed. So now I'm a week behind. I spoke with three people from Bluehost who told me they could fix it, but couldn't, the last lady I spoke with said she would help me delete my old page so I could use WordPress but never did that. It's been long-winded to get through to an agent and having to repeat the same issue over and over, then to be cut off and no follow up.
So I think I finally worked out how to remove the Bluehost builder site I had started making myself, and now I'm having issues with WordPress as I'm not sure if I've done it correctly.
I'm very frustrated, still trying to work out now why the site I started to create on WordPress is now not loading the page I started making yesterday. And I'm already a week behind schedule. I'm very frustrated and the thought of having to explain this time and time again, being passed to a new agent each time is very jarring.

I've had error messages on my website that hasn't been resolved. The person suggested upgrading from a shared server. I feel like this is a hidden fee. I feel as though there wasn't the necessary help from sales to properly choose the best services for my business. The website builder was not helpful. The email wasn't connected to my account. I've made three phone calls so far and support has resolved some of the issues but I feel like there are a lot of things that are not clear about the services or processes.

I purchased a domain name and a email for the domain, only to find out several days later that neither one was working, the start up for a small company is both the most critical and the most laborious, and to have something as important in today's world not work and not be informed or mitigated in some way by the host is completely catastrophic.
Hosting is really slow and good stylish websites working really slow. Another option is my website not appearing in Google Search. I tried a lot of things and waiting but not appearing.
We constantly have SSL security certificate issues. I spent two hours last month to make sure we would be rock solid for our large virtual fundraiser (kicking off today, May 17th) and now if you are on a MAC computer and access our site, it states that the site is unsecure and you should not use credit cards, etc. Please call me directly@ *******552 as we need this addressed today. On various occasions when there has been problems they have not been resolved and I have been told to contact Google, or contact someone else, and then I have had to come back to Bluehost and the problem has been resolved by a different representative. Overall, the service is not bad but you need to vet your support staff.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
