As a novice, it is difficult to understand all the different options on each screen. I will need to study further just how to even get my site up and running before renewal due in July. Otherwise, I will be canceling and attempt a different route.
It is said to be easy, but it is really complicated.
1. I got into a 3-year contract when subdomains where still part of my package. You changed it unilaterally. That's not a trustworthy way of doing business.
2. Some of the times I needed help, the support was trying to get me off the chat/call as fast as possible, and/or where giving me the wrong (outdated) information. I didn't feel helped, I felt constantly sold-to, and on one occasion my webpage even got re-set to a different framework.
Not sure this is what I'm looking for. Layout is more restrictive than I'd like and I can't afford the cost of help.
Signed up with Bluehost through an affiliate. Affiliate made it sound super easy to start your own site. Found out afterwards, the information she was providing was very outdated (4 to 5 year old information) which left us, inexperienced newbies, stranded. When asked the affiliate how to fix an issue or how to do it, we were told, "oh, you must be doing something wrong" and did not provide any further information. Was informed by Bluehost that they update their site/information every couple of months. We are very upset as we feel we were scammed by the affiliate just so she can get paid. Now, we are required to pay a fee to Bluehost, to receive guidance on how to set up the site. Which we think is very unfair. Bluehost needs to be made aware that their affiliates are scamming people.
There are sudden changes to login and account names. This is confusing. Some random username now applies to my account an Alpha numeric eight diget usernem.
Having difficulty accessing email. I was a computer programmer and Sharepoint developer. I have problems with updating my webpage. Actuarlly it's so bad that I have disabled it.

We run into a problem with some of the domains after 6 days of talking to support daily nobody was able to help and fix the problem.
I have not been able to access my control panel for more than 1 week, this is the day I can access to make modifications because they have not given me access. I'm still waiting for a response, the Ticket number is #E-*******
The new steps to log in is absolutely tedious. And to have an ad pop up before the log in? After I already pay a lot of money for this service is not what I've paid for. I want to log in quick, easy and safely. I don't need to have advertisement shoved in my face. Quite frankly I've been looking elsewhere last few months and have really wanted to quit your service altogether...not happy customer.
Customer service quality has dropped recently. Slower and not as hepful if i am honest from wheni started using the service
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
