I joined bluest because my previous website was with WordPress. Articles said that Bluehost is simple to use and has the WordPress plug in. However, bluehost is way confusing and I wish I had just gone back to WordPress, without the middle man.

Super hard to navigate. Very confusing for a beginner. I am not sure what bluehost is and hoe it relates to WORDPRESS. Not sure if I need to buy a site or if I need to build 1. I purchased a trial because it said best for beginners... but sadly it is not easy.
Had trouble at the moment of payment, the transaction went through, but the option to create a password never appeared, had to go to forgot password to create one.
Things are running very slow. The website builder would not open for me at first and it opened randomly when I logged in today and never loaded.
I have requested a full refund on my Hosting purchase.
But there was 16$ substracted because I used "a coupon" for the registration, which was a charge of the same amount.

I accidentally misspelled my new domain name from godaddy when I enrolled in Bluehost domain server. It has been a huge process to update Bluehost and it was easy and fast at godaddy. I tried the text help from Bluehost. I did not receive a response for 6 hours, which was 1230am my time. I stated I no longer needed help as I used chat. The person kept texting me 3 more times and eventually stopped. Then I received another text from another person at 4am. Working through chat has also been challenging. I've communicated with 2 people. I am hoping to resolve my issue today now that I've updated my DNS with godaddy. It's frustrating that it's taking so long to resolve.
I would like to be able to click on themes to see what they look/feel like before choosing one. The only option was to see tiny thumbnails and then choose one.

The setup has been the worst I've ever experienced. I've use Bluehost before and never had so many problems getting Wordpress set up. Still contemplatin canceling.
I could easily become a loyal Bluehost user for life! The prices are affordable, site is easy to navigate and I'm looking forward to getting my new site up soon!
The Control Options are different from another hosts, I'm taking a learning curve but so fast to understand the settings for my website, and BTW... its faster than others
I'm trying to get to my cpanel and its difficult. When I called I thought I could put in a new user but everytime I do it doesn't take... this is frustrating!

Just getting started, everything has been really easy so far
When I bought my three year website subscription I needed to use Bluehost's website builder to meet a deadline and the service was down (kept on freezing whenever I would finish the preliminary formatting). I called in and had the problem circumvented in roughly 48 hours. Last I checked the issue wasn't resolved but the techs were kind enough to help set me up with a more bear bones structure that I had to build out and personalize.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
