The most complicated thing I have had to deal with
I can't blog because there's an advertisement covering my blog.
The call center was absolutely HORRIBLE! The first "gentleman" was anything but. He was rude, arrogant, condescending, and CLUELESS! He did not listen at all- I had to repeat myself multiple times. And was rewarded for my trouble by him getting rude and antagonistic with me. I said that I was frustrated but I should have clarified that I was frustrated with his horrible, unprofessional behavior. Fortunately, the second call center rep that I spoke with actually listened to what I was explaining and knew what he was doing. He didn't take his own ignorance out on me unlike the first individual that I spoke with. While the second rep was unable to resolve my technical issue during our call, he did escalate the call and put in a help ticket. I would have rated four stars (problem not resolved but at least dealt with a calm, reasonable, rational, and knowledgeable human being- second rep) but the first contact that I had with Bluehost support call center rates a minus five. So the two star rating is based solely on my interaction with the second rep. Hire better quality!
Had an error and had to delete the site and restart.
You have contracted with some web design firm who calls me 9-12 times daily all 7 days of the week. I have asked them not to. I have asked my number be removed and to no avail. I have been yelled at by these telemarketers and I have tried to remove my number from my profile but your company will not allow me to do that. I am considering legal action as my next step.
The theme Daisy that I purchased last night will not download. I have tried from this site and from the site the theme comes from. Fails every time! I want a refund!

I purchased a them directly through bluehost and it is not working. I was told to contact the vendor at my own expens. For me the vendor was bluehost not the author.

Very confusing to set up initially! Already had a domain but it is not showing so I am not sure what I am doing. Too many options, notifications, rabbit holes to go down. REALLY need to hand hold newbies about 1000 x more! Maybe having something more interactive. Filing taxes is easier than doing this. You have got to remember that not everyone is 1-techy and 2-young. I literally do not know the difference in a web host or domain or web designer so I'm lost from the start.
Process to set up is not easy, nor defined well. Completely reliant on searching for answers on the internet.

This has been nothing but trouble since I chose to use your service. I just installed a custom theme and I keep getting critical errors. The FTP configuration didn't work. I have spent more time just trying to set up and prepare to start buidling my site than I will actually building the site.

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
