I've recommended Blue host to other clients as well because it's easy to use and Customer Support has been great.
I had a hard time login to my account, but thankfully I got help with knowledgeable representative that guide me through. So I am happy with the experience. Highly recommended.
Still learning, but have gotten lots of help from knowledgeable staff, leaving me confident that any learning curve will smooth out to be a satisfying experience overall.
Call your help number and someone answered and no one talked while heard people talking in background
Can't find the start page - therer has to be a better way - went to fast for me -
I just got last in the beginning -
Just starting. I still have to discover all I can do with this.
Extremely hard to use word press. Trying to code via HTML CSS and JS instead of using word press. If this continues will not keep using this.
For a newbe attempting to build a website their is a large learning curve.
For me it is a process search, find, select and what do I do now.
Working with Bluehost and Word Press I'm a little lost as to which site do I use and go to accomplish my build.
As an old-timer in retirement a PDF Step by step Guide might be of benefit "If you see this, do that, much like a "if then, else" math statement.
At day three I'm still a bit like the Deer in the Headlights.
We have paid $150 to migrate our website and started the process on 2/28. It is now 3/10 and being unable to talk with someone in the migration team, I cannot discuss the issue we have with them needing a log in our current host will NOT provide. The current host HAS provided the website backed up onto a link that does not require a login that I have provided at least 3x this week through our email chain on Bluehost Migration Communication [S-*******]. This has been a dismal experience for us.
I've had a really hard time getting my website going. I've had issues with my domain name pointing towards bluehost and have been trying to get this fixed for weeks. Every time I have talked to someone about this, they say it will be fixed in 24-48 hours but it never is
I can no longer access chat - it seems to be in a loop and vanishes after momentarily popping up
I can only login by resetting my password everytime
Trying to get to chat and it isn't functioning. My newly purchased theme "Aspen" is not installing...
I have had nothing but problems since I signed up over a month ago and still can't begin to create a website. Granted I made a mistake with the email address I originally used to register, but it seems like it should be so much effort to correct or take so much time to fix.
DNS didn't set up properly, system issues prevented login, first attempt to contact support chat resulted in a 10 minute wait after greeting with no answers to my questions.
AVOID AT ALL COST! I deeply regret trusting my website to bluehost. My site crashed yesterday and the data was deleted from it. I called to get it restored to the previous saved version. It was 9 am in the morning. The support guy told me it is in a que and although it is usually 24-72 hours they will put an urgency on it and will get to it in about two hours. They said the sait will be back up and running in 6-8 hours. 24 hours later site is still not backed up. I called again at 8 am the following morning, and they told me that they put urgency on it and it will be done in two hours. 4 hours later i'm on the phone with them again and they try to tell me that i didn't give an authorization (i did the first day), then they found that i did. Horrible liers who wouldn't blink to take your money. Disclamer I have a minority, woman owned business. They don't care about you as a customer, or your pains. My whole company has been paralized without the website. Maybe I will looze money (5 bought 5 year hosting), but I will move my site away as soon as they restore it. Never Again!
I am stil waiting for the template promised by Steve Chou. Until I get the process complete I'm unable to properly gage the value of bluehost.
I can't seem to find any help on your site. I need to talk with someone.
Great service but when i paid for the website domain "allpurposelifehacks" it changed the domain to something else completely. I managed to figure out how to redirect from allpurposelifehacks to the main domain but i'd like it to be fixed in general. How do i change my "parked" domain - allpurposelifehacks to the primary domain you guys set up for me? I'd really like this changed... thanks for your time
I am so confused by why the homepage I created in "customize your site" isn't available for my homepage in Wordpress
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
