I purchased Bluehost as a website host. I used a template that they suggested. I put a tremendous about of time and effort into it….only to be told that the problems I had, were a glitch and unfixable. They never compensated me for the tremendous amount of time and money lost. Interestingly this put me in a time crunch and forced me to pay them for their expensive help. I don't believe they are an ethical company to do business with….run, this is a scam with a business name.
The representative was able to assist with my issue.

I had a very small buisness, more a hobby at times. 1st blue host lied to me that service was compatible with my equipment. It wasn't. Then they supposedly helped me close the account. They didn't. I paid a sale price of around 60.00 no big deal until a year later when I was sick (covid-19)unemployed and on a tiny budget and they charged me full price without my knowledge. They said they sent me an email ( to the blue host email I could never access), they couldn't refund money to my card that they charged because it might not be me they were talking to. What? I wasn't asking for it to be reimbursed to a new card or account. So the gave me an email that I could try to prove I was me. My driver's license had a different address, my bad. So I go get new license with correct address when I send it in compliant I filed has been closed. They suggest I go to their help page...I'm so frustrated.
Dont give this company your debit card details. We closed our account with them 2 years ago. They just took 230 euro from our account. One day after another we had to freeze our account and report them for fraud. You cant call them and the online chat is a joke, they admitted we did not owe them anything and said would resolve within 24 hours that was 5 days ago.
So the scenario is i have been a customer for these $#*!ers for almost 9 years now for web hosting, and ive always ran into many problems like email delays, and emails getting deleted, but i endured for all this time, so i changed to the Domain package Choice Plus, and then recently i changed to Pro package which i paid in full more than 600 dollars with all the addons, so here is the thing i bought last month and they didnt do the migration to Pro even after 3 to for days which actual time given was 72 hours since i bought ive been asking about the migration progress and each agent says its still in problems so after 5 days suddenly one of their agent said the migration progress had an issue and its on hold, and they havent done anything about it yet, they contined it after 2 days and ive lost so many emails so many of my employees have lost so many emails, i wrote to them like 5 times already and no response still, SO I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS $#*!TY SERVICE FOR ANYONE ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO RUNS BUSINESS WHICH REQUIRE URGENT MAIL RESPONS AND WHATNOT
The site is very slow in both admin and user experience. We have a very fast internet therefore one would presume it is at your server end.
Absolutely terrible company to deal with. Tried multiple times to cancel ongoing subscription but they make it impossible. Had to cancel my CC to stop them charging. Can't wait to see them try and collect from me!
This platform is trash. I'm trying to build a static webpage. I have no idea how to do that, but it seems like everything button is asking me to make things more complicated. I will never use or recommend bluehost.

This company is of no help I joined to migrate from somewhere else. Never got help. Now someone has tried to charge my card. Done.
When I signed up with Bluehost, several years ago, it was a pretty reliable company. As time goes by, however, the quality has been gradually lost. Personally, I have a main website and a few AddOn domains. One of the subdomains (arantrufusa.com) is a sales site using eCommerce. Lately, I've been scratching my head because I get up to 10 downtime reports per day from that site. I have already contacted Bluehost about three or four times in the last month (I don't have time to check every single site on every occurrence but I assume it gets extensive to my other domains because they are all under the same IP). Generally, the representatives are friendly and respond relatively quickly. However, they seem to be trained to give encapsulated answers without actually reviewing the problem. Anyway, they have already told me several times that admins are going to check what is going on with the server but, so far, everything remains the same and worse. I believe it's time to try another provider.

Agent was on phone with me for 40 minutes trying to get account & site set up, then their system drops the call and he does not call or email me to resume. Despite that he has my number (it's on my account, he's the one who entered it) and I have no way of reaching teh same agent.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
