Bluehost services EXTREMELY deteriorated over the past two years, thinking of migrating. Sites not reachable, account access issues, yesterday spent 4-5 HOURS trying to log in... your agents do not speak/write understandable English sometimes, so much less can they help. HORROR.

So far so good. Only one problem I've had so far. The bluehost website builder wasn't working with a very important podcast plugin and so I had to uninstall the website builder and install a different one. This has cost me a lot of time and a little frustration.

Issues with the two step verification

I decided to implement the two step verification process, which worked well most of the time. Recently, the system was not allowing me to enter the verification code once I received it. After working with an agent, we changed the settings to eliminate the two-step process and go back to the single verification. This works well for me.

The login screen is poorly done

The login screen is poorly done. The chat starts blaring off this obnoxious bell every time I log in. To get into my account I have to go through an upsell screen with a "no thanks" buried at the bottom in small type. This is not a customer focused interface in my opinion and I am looking for alternatives.

The hosting platform (cPanel, etc.) is fine, but tech support is a problem. I spent more than a week on the chat almost every day before I called and got someone who actually knew how to fix my issue. Several times, immediately after I typed a message, the tech said they hadn't heard from me for a while and closed the chat. It's been a very, very frustrating process to get one of my sites back online.

People tell you to choose Bluehost. Everyone says you're the best. But, I am not experienced enough to really use your service, I guess. I've paid for hosting, paid for a theme, nothing works. It's been hectic and crazy just getting my site to work, and because of issues, I'm moving to another service because I can actually make the front end there.

You've changed the log in screen again so now I have to remember my username instead of google password. And before I can get into my wordpress site, I have to click off your advertising page. There's plenty of space to put advertising without requiring an extra click. I don't understand why I react so strongly each time I see the ad, but each instance makes me think BlueHost doesn't respect their customers time
