Bluehost moved to the new format and our Emails stopped working. After weeks for contacting chat and phone for help, we were finally notified that we need to copy over our settings from WHM to the domains page. There was no notice given prior to this change and we have been missing Emails because of this.

Not sure exactly what part of my experience you are asking for, as I am just now trying to log in. Bluehost has continually become more difficult to navigate and understand. Billing has continually become more difficult to navigate and understand. Email has continually become more difficult to navigate and understand. The ability to edit my website with Bluehost's web builder comes and goes, sometimes for literally weeks. This morning I constantly received an error that my changes couldn't be saved and to try again. I finally gave up to come back and try now. Overall, I dread dealing with my website anymore, mostly because of my experience with Bluehost.

After months of hard work to improve my website, when I go to update my website, the update does not work, I have tried every possible way and it does not work. I wrote to chat this morning to try to solve the problem and twice they slammed the door on me, directing me to a page where I just found out that php 7.4 is deprecated, without having had any prior information from you. Just this week I paid more US$500 and they didn't tell me anything about it. Now I would have to pay more than US$400 to ioncube to try to solve the problem. This has caused me a lot of discomfort.

1) stop your ad when I first log in
2) Have a setting where I go to the cpanel when I first log in. Wading through the Websites/cPanel Email/Domains/Hosting page to have to scroll down to find the cPanel itself is stupid.

We have been unable to conduct commerce effectively this entire year due to inconsistencies with this service provider. The reliability of their services and poor customer support leaves much to be desired. Initially, it was authentication issues where the script would not authenticate appropriately and throw errors. After reaching out to customer support as well as the parent company regarding this matter and upon audit of our plugins, they have failed to meet their end of contractual agreement. Our plugins which were purchased through their portal are no longer visible; however, a few "new" ones, including Newfold email, are available which we did NOT consent to or desire. Now, our site is non-functioning during the busiest shopping season, our payment gateway is not configured, and our theme which also purchased is no where to be found.

We have forwarded this correspondence chain, reviews, and logs of our attempted compliance with their company to our legal teams for review on how to proceed with the loss in potential revenue, ad spending which can't be utilized by customers, and Their company's failure to "maintain up-time" as stated in verifiable articles about Bluehost.

On-going Issues with Authentication

I have had on-going issues with Bluehost since purchasing services 6 months ago.

There is a programming flaw in their authentication steps when logging onto their system; I've been expressing this to them for months now as a former programmer for one of the largest manufacturing companies in the world. I have been on the phone with their chat services for up to 3 hrs at a time with ZERO RESOLUTION.

Their customer service reps are rude, sexist, and disrespectful. They lack knowledge of their products. When ask for escalation of issues or a survey, they disconnect the call.

I'm almost certain they have paid for their place in articles; their services are poor in general in areas of reliability, resolution, authentication, and recovery.

We lost our entire product feed; it "supposedly" took 48 hrs to navigate their channels. I've had to rebuild our site 3 times total because they do not review plug-ins they promote.

I do NOT recommend; users beware!

A few weeks ago 4 of my 7 websites in my Blue Host VPS disappeared for 3 days. Turned out being a Name Server error caused by something on your backend. It was hell explaining to my customers why their websites were broken but in the end Blue Host solved the problem. Thank you.
