Support is unresponsive

Support is unresponsive - when my site was ready and reviewed and sent changes and only half were completed. I sent the uncomplete ones back twice, first time no response and second time I was told by my Account Manager to log in and request a change. I am disappointed the changes I sent were not and still are not complete after emails and phone calls with Ryan.

My experience has, sadly, been awful. After not being able to install Wordpress for a second site (this problem was escalated 3 times), I gave up and requested that my plan go back to the basic plan. I just upgraded and renewed service in November 2023, paying over $300, so I could add the second site. This person then mistakenly, deleted my entire hosting account causing me to lose my primary website, thus totally crashing my business. Then I was told that I could only get my website back if I bought a new hosting plan. (Even though I had just paid for a 3 year renewal). I had no choice and bought it. Now, I have been waiting a week for my primary website to be restored. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this has truly truly been just an awful experience.

I love Bluehost and how easy they make it to create additional sites, manage, and integrate. The only challenge I have ever had was easily reaching tech support. That said, Bluehost has been efficient in updating their outgoing message regarding any major platform issues.

My plan was unlimited for years and suddenly the pay structure changed. I had lots of websites, email accounts, databases, and files uploaded and had to either pay an unreasonable amount of money or switch providers. I opted to switch providers. It seems Bluehost does not value its loyal customers. The "offer" that was presented had a short window of opportunity as well as it wasn't a viable option for someone who has been building websites on the platform since 2008. Also since things were converted my billing history has been wiped.

The site keeps changing, and it keeps getting harder to do simple management chores (but much easier to sign up for unwanted services). I want to do a simple, temporary redirect of a new domain. Once it was easy. Today I have spent over one hour trying to find the magic page. I am sure that once I am there, it will again seem easy. But the net effect to me is that you have cost me more than one hour of my precious time.

I log in to take of things and first thing I need to do is dismiss upsell ads. I do not need popups, I want to take care of my site. If I want to add features then put them as a banner of the hosting or put a click here somewhere that I might notice it but do not block the work I have to get done. I pay you so I can get work done, Not so I waste time with ads to pay you more.
