The support is the dumest in this world of service. You don't support email customer service. And that's fine. But u asking the client wait through out the chat section if we were late then the chat get terminate. Not even a ticket to follow up back! And sometime are untrained staff. We need to redo the chat again..
I've been trying to get help to set up my webpage for a while. I end up on chats that go for a long time. 2 days ago, after explaining myself for a while, it was arranged that someone would call me the next afternoon. I waited until after 6, but no phone call. Another chat with a lot of apologies. A call was arranged for the next morning. I waited all day. The phone number was definitely correct. Also, each and every chat is supposed to end with a survey. The chat assistants ask if you can wait, sometimes three or four times, but no survey ever arrives. I think 3 minutes is long enough to wait before ending the chat. Often I'd like to compliment the chat staff. Do their ratings affect their work assessments? If so, it's very unfair on them.
After a year, the cost is drastically increased. Looking for a new host

I paid $149 to migrate my Wordpress blog from WPengine to Bluehost and your response time to my issues has been terrible. I'm worried that I'll run out of my 14-day window to get the migration done because you're not replying in a timely manner.
Being a bluehost customer for over 20 years, the services have become so much less personal and attentive, and are not the value for my money that they used to be. It is very unfortunate.

Too complicated and unreliable, poor customer service
I've had some of the worst tech support I've ever experienced via chat in the 15 years I've been working with hosting companies. The conversation was circular, and my site was literally hacked while I was in chat. They assured me I had backups...but when I tried to find a restore point, there were no recent backups available. They disabled a bunch of plugins on the site and said it was "fixed" because there was a conflict even though the site has been operating fine using the plugins for the last month with no problem. In fact, most of the plugins they disabled came packaged with the theme.

Bluehost has consistently gotten to become a bigger hassle. Between layout changes where there is no autofill of password (also who decided on a password of a arbitrary length of 12-16 charectors so I cant use my regular password of 17 charectors or shorter passwords i normally use and not displaying a warning that your password is over the charector limit while still allowing you to input 17 charectors on login), then locking my account when i try to change the password. Or the terrible display of actual storage size of hosting content showing there is unlimited storage but locking my sites ftp 3 times over the last year due to insufficient storage before forcing me to explain to customer service reps who are clearly not qualified to fix the problem before putting me on hold each time for 3 days until the problem is resolved by actual enginneers. Bluehost has gone from a problem free hosting a year ago to a mess that I have to contact customer service every month to continue to use my own site.
Gave no pricing before renewal, then attempted to take unexpectedly large payment from card

I have been struggling to get my sites up. These are down for the whole day. They dont understand the technicality of the issue and do not let you talk to the technical person and just suspend the account. This is just hooliganism as i have already paid them in advance and can do nothing. I am shifting to another provider.
I can't get anyone to help me. The Free Website building business, sven nilsen, it was becoming apparent that there were costs beyond my limits, it wasn't free at all. Bluehost chat will not open to allow me to have another chat about my account. I want to close this account as I can't afford to make this happen. I would like a refund if that is possible.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
