Quote: "The flowers are in poor condition, they look ready for the bin" accompanied by 2 images of the sub-standard condition of the blooms.
Nobody answered the phone, nobody responded to the email.
The flowers were meant to be a special treat for my daughter to uplift her at a time when an unfulfilled family gathering (due to Covid-19 isolation) cannot occur.
I made 2 orders at the same time, to 2 different addresses, both for delivery on the 24/12.
1 got cancelled
1 got delivered on the 21/12 with a note not to open the flowers till the 24/12!
I rang them (very hard to hear them as there was lots of background noise) and they said that the once that got cancelled the people in the area could not deliver them so they refunded the money, and the other order they said that the people could not deliver on the day I wanted, so they delivered them early.
Ordered flowers for my sister-in-law and asked for them to be delivered on 22/12/20. They were delivered on the 18/12 and they were completely trashed as you see in the picture. Have emailed, phoned and tried to use their Live Chat but no-one wants to talk to me.
Please do not use this company. I ordered flowers for an elderly couple's 61st wedding anniversary, several days before delivery was due. A fee of close to $100 was charged to my credit card.
The day of delivery, no flowers were received. I phoned Bloomex around 4pm and was given a Australia Post tracking number. Once I tracked this number, the order was mot even scanned into Australia Post system. Alarm bells were ringing by this stage, Australia Post delivering fresh flowers? Consequently Sunday afternoon and my moment to celebrate with my elderly relatives their momentous achievement of a relationship has passed. I have donated to a scam company and no flowers to celebrate my loved one's wonderful achievement. Congratulations Bloomex on preying on our relationships with our loved ones. If this what it takes to get rich, well done, you do it so well.
Bloomex processed my payment for a bereavement bouquet, and did not even attempt delivery. They notified me 9 days later and I agreed to allow them to deliver free of charge that day to make up for the 'glitch'. The next day I was contacted again and discovered the delivery was again not even attempted.
All contact with them has been extremely unsatisfactory, phone calls overseas that sound like the person is wandering in a busy street, not even in a call centre, and they stick to a script. Emails to two separate addresses have received a scripted reply every time.
They have taken my money, provided no product or service and are now basically unable to be contacted. I call this THEFT and a SCAM.
They are set up to auto reply on every review site to make themselves look good but it's all words, nothing comes of it.
I intend to pursue with ACCC and any other means, the refund of my $140.
I ordered flowers through this company for my mothers birthday. On the day of her birthday they contacted me to say that they did not have the flowers in stock and that they could not send something else. I asked for them to send me a picture of the sort of thing they would replace it with and was told that they could not send pictures. Fair enough. I then asked if they could direct me to a product on their website so I could see what they would send instead. Without giving a reason despite me asking a number of times I was told they couldn't.
They offered me my money back to which I told them that was no good because I would not be able to organise for another company to deliver in time.
We settled on (I was forced basically) Bloomex delivering flowers of their choice which I was not able to see.
Stay away from this company.
Run a mile from this company: see reviews.

This is the first and last time I will be using Bloomex. Ordered flowers for my mother in laws birthday to be delivered Friday 13/11, when she hadn't received them by 7:00PM, I used their on line message and was told don't worry we deliver up until 9:00PM and I can see they are in transit. It is now Saturday 3:43PM and the flowers still haven't been delivered and after calling tel: 1800 905 147 all they can tell me is they are still in transit... Someone will contact you Monday.
After spending $114 on flowers, they delivered half dead flowers from Woolworths/Coles and a bar of lindt chocolate. What was supposed to be a joyful gift for a new baby was embarrassing and plain awful.
I have lodged a complaint and their response was that "the arrangement you received was in accordance with our policy. Fraudsters running the show from an overseas call centre. DO NOT USE
I recently ordered flowers and chocolates to be delivered to our daughter as a surprise on the purchase of their first home. I came across Bloomex who had a special on a "designer bouquet" for 50% off (so $100 reduced to $50, not including delivery charges).
The bouquet in the picture looked lovely, but I decided to "supersize" it (two sizes up from what was pictured) - so imagined it would be huge. I also discovered the vase wasn't included, so I added that to the order as well for an extra cost.
Then they also offered a "large box of deluxe chocolates" for an additional $25 - so I added that too.
Including the delivery fee of $20, the order cost $125.
What was received was a far cry from what they advertised and what was paid for. The bouquet, whilst pretty, bore no resemblance whatsoever to the advertised picture - it was just a bunch of flowers and the "large box of deluxe chocolates" was substituted for a block of Lindt chocolate (currently on sale in Coles for $6 for TWO blocks).
They now have the audacity to write back and tell me they are within their rights to substitute products (if you read their T&C, this is meant to be of equal or greater value - remember the chocolates...) AND that the picture doesn't represent what will be sent -WHY EVEN HAVE A PICTURE THEN!
I only wish I had done my research before I ordered. This business is so bad that there are Facebook groups dedicated to their appalling service, not just in Australia, but WORLDWIDE. I have already joined two of them.
One user was actually surprised that the flowers were alive- that's how bad their reputation is. They are commonly referred to as GLOOMEX. Please check out online reviews before you use this business.
I'm going to ensure that I dedicate time each week to keep this issue alive on social media so that nobody else gets ripped off by this business and their appalling business practices.
Below is a picture of my order and a picture of what was received.
Bloomex are dishonest!
Their flowers online are absolutely nothing like what is delivered!
Pastel pretty flowers and roses are substituted with ugly green daisies carnations and red flowers!
Vase ordered was long and rectangular what was delivered was round and squat! They claim flowers may VARY! Crap there was not ONE flower similiar!
DO NOT ORDER from them!
Numerous emails and a piddly 15%off next order. I'm not that dumb to order off you again! Absolutely crap! The sooner you are out of business the better! Absolute scam! BE WARNED! Check out bloomex sucks on Facebook! Many disgruntled customers
First time I have used this service and it was superb, needed to cheer the wife up quickly and it worked, I called the company after placing order as I had not put a time on it, I had just 2hrs to get the flowers there, the lady said I will call the local shop and make sure it happens, perfect service
All the staff at Bloomex go out of their way to help and solve your queries. Their ordering system is one of the best, making it easy to understand for their florists and customers alike. They have a constantly changing selection with seasonal designs highlighted. Would thoroughly recommend Bloomex.
I ordered flowers from via this website as i live in Lancashire and my brother lives nrar Sutton Colfield. I placed the order quite late on a Friday afternoon and they were delivered Saturday afternoon. My brother was delightedwith the flowers. I would use the website again. Impressed with the service.
As always, beautiful work and prompt service. My mother-in-law just loved the arrangement. It's wonderful to have a service like Bloomex when one lives in the U.S. and needs to send flowers to the U. K. without high fees. We would love for you to be able to deliver in Sweden. Any chance of that happening?
Brilliant! It's difficult to send flowers from mainstream companies when family members live in such remote areas. This website connected me with local florists who could deliver flowers just before Christmas. If communication with the florists themselves was a little easier, it would be a perfect experience.
On Christmas Eve I ordered a festive flower arrangement to be delivered to my Mum. My Mum was delighted with her beautiful flowers. Thank you Eden Florists for your prompt service & creative arrangement. I have used Eden Florist a few times now and they have never disappointed me. I will definitely use them again!
This is the 3rd time I've used them to send flowers to my dear friend in UK, and they just get better and better. I ordered the medium tulip arrangement and what she received was AMAZING! (see pic by my name) It was her 80th birthday, and they arrived on the day I asked. SO PLEASED with their service and quality!
I have used Bloomex on numerous occasions. The selection and ordering process is extremely straightforward. I have used the same florist each time: delivery has always been faultless; the quality of the flowers has been excellent and the recipient has always been delighted with the service. I highly recommend this service.
Sent a family member a floral arrangement for their new home. I was sent a picture when they arrived; and although not exactly as I ordered, they surpassed the arrangement I saw on-line. The recipients were absolutely thrilled. So will definitely use you again and trust whatever florist is used to send something stunning.
Answer: Line is so disgusting you can't hear them and they repeat the same "I understand how you feel" Well no they don't because it's not their loved one that didn't get the flowers delivered when requested. And stop blaming COVID 19, Sydney has been case free for some time now.
Answer: I have used flowersacrossmelbourne to send flowers to my mother on her birthday. Absolutely never had a problem. I wish Brisbane had a company like them. Bloomex is a rip-off merchant.
Answer: Because they promised delivery on a specific day - but failed miserably when the flowers were delivered TWO DAYS LATER & left outside the property overnight without informing the recipient that they were there.
