The blinds arrived on time and once they were hung, there was nothing more to do. No more shortening which seems to take forever. I think they will last longer in my rentals because they have cords and not wands. I will definitely do this again!
Bought new white wood blinds for our bedroom. Very pleased with quality and relative ease of installation. Only two issues kept me from rating 5 stars. It took 10 days longer Han expected to receive order. Delay was attributed to 4th of July holiday. I also ordered the "wand" instead of pull cords. The blinds came with pull cords instead of wand. Called customer service who was very helpful and immediately had wands shipped to me along with instructions on how to replace. They did tell me that I might like the cords better than wand because the blinds can be closed tighter with the cord. Based on that I haven't switch out to the wand. Overall very happy. Great blinds for the price.
These blinds were comparable to the ones@ Home Depot & Lowes@ a better rate AND Blindster cut them to the length I needed unlike Home Depot or Lowes that would not.
The celular shade I ordered fit perfectly and the cord top down bottom up works wonderfully. The sale price was good. Thank you.

Everything was good. They came when expected. All 13 fit the windows. Easy to install, Had 13 installed in under 1.5 hours. Will order from Blindster again.
We ordered 3 bamboo shades at an average of $83 each and got light blocking and continuous loop cords which added an average of $70 more per shade. They arrived when expected and looked like good quality bamboo when we opened boxes. Continuous loop cords have a huge heavy boxy device attached to the underside of the head rail. This blocks all access to the holes you need to hang an inside mount shade. Called Blindster and after 30 minute conversation she finally understood what I was saying but did not have a solution - could I call back tomorrow when a more technical person is available? Um, no, we need coverings on our windows today. We had to figure how to drop huge ballast from it's casing, hold the heavy shade to mark holes, rest, hold the heavy shade again to screw in shade blindly hoping it was close. Re-attached the ballast, attached the fabric shade cord mechanism to the side only to find that it's a super short cord - about 2 feet - that is very difficult to use as it is tight and you have to use both hands over each other while pulling hard. I'm afraid it's going to break. These situations were/are identical with each shade. Two shades are over a kitchen counter so consider you'll have to reach and lean (I'm 5'-3") a lot. I've given up on one so my husband does it. Two of the three shades have enough length with a little extra bump at bottom. One shade is about 1/4"-1/2" too short. It says to let it hang and stretch for a while; it's been about 3 weeks and I'm not seeing any difference. Width wise two are fine and one is isn't wide enough. To return anything we have to pay shipping which will be a lot with the weight of the continuous loop system; let alone buying 70" long boxes, etc.
All in all, the continuous loop system is terrible. I have other shades with continuous loops and they are small rods in the head rail with nice LONG metal beaded cords that pull like "butter". My mistake... thought it would be the same. I don't like looking at my short shade pulled down, it makes me shake my head so I leave it up most of the time. Live and learn I guess. Don't say I didn't warn you :)
Ordered 12 shades. Delivered marked with each window size, 4 were same size, but only one fit the others were about 1/16th too wide. They wouldn't replace them because I spent over $1000. 00. Now I'm stuck with all these shades. The brackets need to be improved also. NOT HAPPY!

It is true that the orders is not returnable for refund under our Satisfaction Guarantee because it totals more than $1,000. If the factory made a mistake and the size is incorrect than we will remake the shades to the correct size at no charge. If the sizes need to change then we can do it under our Fit or Free Policy.

Place the order, received e-mail out of stock for simple white materials for blind? Not completely happy - this cause me to not have blinds up for my open house!

We ordered some faux wood blinds for a guest bedroom. They were perfect in ever way. They look beautiful.
They fit in the window perrfectly.
The conditions my blinds arrived in was less than perfect, but blindster was very quick to address and resolve the situation. The blinds I ordered were a great price and look beautiful in my house. It's amazing how much a good set of blinds improves the look of a home.
We bought 16 cellular blinds for our entire house. We got a quote from a major blond company that was almost $4000 for what we were looking to do. Blindster came in at a 3rd of the price. And Blindster contacted me 2 days before the deadline for the blinds to arrive at my house to let me know the process was taking a little longer than expected so the company paid for expedited shipping and gave me an additional 10% off my order. The blinds look great and so far they operate well. Installation was extremely simple.
One word of caution about their 60-day satisfaction guaranteed policy:
I purchased double cellular shades for one of my bedrooms. Whe I installed the blinds I realized they didn't block the street light outside the window very well. I called to see if I could exchange them for light filtering cellular shades under the 60-day satisfaction guarantee. The customer service rep told me that since my order was over $1000 I could not return the three blinds and pay the difference for the new blinds I wanted. Instead they gave me 50% another order for that room. The customer service rep was helpful and great about it. It seems odd that the policy doesn't apply because I purchased more than $1000 worth of blinds, even though I was attempting to exchange only about $150 worth. If you have to buy a lot, just split up the orders, which the company recommends doing anyway.
With that all said, I will absolutely purchase blinds from Blindster again and will recommend it to friends and family. Great company.
I am very happy with both the cellular shades I ordered and with the company. They fit the window (outside mount) and blocked almost all the light coming in with the sunrise off the lake, which can be very bright. Service was prompt. I will not hesitate to order from this company again.
